hi all, i have the nck code from operator but i dont have any locked sim cards to unlock it with, any way to enter it?
Want to unluck bootloader and stuff. Sony Ericsson st18i ray
If you mean SIM unlock, it's not the SIM that's locked or unlocked, it's the phone. The phone is locked to 1 carrier, and it will only communicate with SIM cards from that carrier. In order to enter the SIM unlock code, you must be running a stock ROM. After you unlock the phone, you can use any SIM.
In order for the phone to prompt you for an unlock code, you may need to insert an unexpired SIM card from another carrier.
If you're talking about unlocking bootloader, s-off, rooting, that kind of stuff, that's unrelated to, and independent of, SIM unlocking.

Hello, I know I can't unlock the bootloader but if I unlock the device via code then can I unlock it via unlockbootloader.sonymobile?
When you succeed at finding a code which enables this you'll become very rich!
If you really want it unllocked though the only way is to pay. www.phoneunlockserver.com unlocked mine.

It's impossible to unlock...
Is it simlocked? If it's simlocked to some network you are unable to unlock the bootloader. If you unlock the phone, you will be able to unlock the bootloader

I had several phones that were sim locked and I was unable to unlock the bootloader. After sim unlocking them I was able to unlock the bootloader. The same goes for the Xperia M2, it was locked on T-Mobile MK, after unlocking the phone I was able to unlock the bootloader.

So, I assume that if I flash a debranded firmware from Xperia M2 (My cellphone can't unlock Bootloader about the "[x]Newtork 10" is locked in SimLock) may unlock the bootloader without any troubles? Is that so? Or I'm mistaken?
If I'm correct, that'd be amazing, I'd like use other ways to personalize my phone but I can't 'cause of the stupid Bootloader xDD.
Thanks!

Debranding basically removes all the bloatware that slow your phone down. You can't sim unlock with debranding, only with special code provided by some other sim unlock sites/ebay

Exactly that. Try to enter it correctly because there is a limit on how many times you can enter to network unlock code. If it doesn't work on KitKat, downgrade it to 4.3 and enter the code. I had similar problem where I was unable to unlock on KK but on 4.3 worked fine.

Well, about that, I have a "plan", or, better said, a contract between the carrier and the cellphone, so, I must wait for two days to complete the "legal" contract. So, after that, I guess that I can unlock the device and then, unlock bootloader.
Thanks for everything!
I purchased an Xperia Z3 (D6603) in November on contract from Vodafone UK and today I decided to unlock the boot loader. My phone is on contract but I got it SIM unlocked. When I opened the service menu, it says "Bootloader unlock allowed: No".
Is there any way to unlock the bootloader?
No

Not even after my contract expires? Is there no way at all?
No
your out of luck for time being, however soon enough you will be able to run custom roms as long as the stock kernel is used so its not all doom and gloom.
I have a Xperia E3 that is sim locked to my network and also I have bootloader unlock allowed = no so I am unable to flash custom roms or kernels. I am unable to unlock the bootloader using sony's official method because of this. My question is what causes it to be bootloader unlock allowed = no on some devices while not on others, is it to do with the fact that some are sim locked and if I removed the sim lock with a code I would be able to then switch bootloader unlock allowed to yes?
If anyone could shed some light on this subject if I ever have any hope of flashing custom roms on my seemingly locked Xperia E3.
