REQUIREMENTS :-
A rooted device (Of course )
Latest whatsapp apk from whatsapp.com/android
you have to receive a call from someone who has the feature active ( answer the call) before following these steps
Android 5.0.x
STEPS:-
Install the latest apk (Of course)
Open any root explorer (es file explorer preferred ) and navigate to /data/data/com.whatsapp/shared_prefs/com.whatsapp_preferences.xml
Add these 2 lines anywhere in the file but within the <map></map> and save
Code:
<boolean name="call" value="true" />
<string name="call_allowed">all</string>
Then go to Settings/Apps/Whatsapp and force stop it !
Open the app again (duh!)
You have now enabled calls !!!!!!!! Enjoy!!!!

it doesnt have to be repeated .. once its done..its active ..even if you delete and reinstall the app ..Tried personally

All options enabled perfectly...but when trying to call getting Internet connection error...
While on same connection chat is working.

I try to make one but when i drag and drop twframework-res in apk manager 4.9 it says "sorry thats not the dependee apk....."

See my previous posts and there will be "complete set of tools" download it and there will be a folder called apktool or apk manager
use that for decompilin and compilin apk's and after u decompile the mms.apk der will be a folder called xml in it
open that and set the required changes in there as per ur wish... u can set even upto 1000 pages without any conversion

I tried many apks from Jelly Beans (4.2.2/4.2.1) and none got accepted...

you dont have to use the stock apps, you can install go dialer ex and go sms pro from the play store, both foe free. after i installed them, i purposely uninstalled the stock system ones!

My chip is not even recognized anymore

sounds to me like you need to reflash your rom, but maybe someone else cna help you out. try making a new question saying that you need the folders+apks....

Relax don't be worry you will get them all whichever your need just download the firmware of your device and install it through the ODIN you wont loss your any apps or file you will get all the apps back without any change (except the custom kernel)

you can see your fiemware in Settings>About phone. it is gonna be something like this: i819nxxani1. thats my phone model, yours will be yours, obviously.

Step 1 :
Update whatsapp to latest version. The latest version is v2.12.5 or above. Sometimes your play store will not show that v2.12.5 update.
So better download whataspp from here

After installing latest version, tell me your whatsapp mob. number ( reply here in this thread only ) .
Step 3 :

You have to share anything (a picture, a link, etc) and select Reminder. Once done that the app will ask you to add the shortcut to the home screen

That thread is closed, though I would advise reading a good portion of it to familiarize yourself with how it operates when it is active - if it should happen to ever become so again in the future. No timeline is known or even available for the asking. Trust me on this and do read.
As for PMing, When a member is accepting PMs and available you may follow THIS instruction if on PC. If in the APPLICATION on an Android then tap on the avatar, I believe, and select "Start Conversation."
