You have to share anything (a picture, a link, etc) and select Reminder. Once done that the app will ask you to add the shortcut to the home screen

I have a korean version of the Note Edge and I'm not very happy with the dialer , it displays korean characters .
So, anyone with a rooted non-korean version (USA), please share secContacts.apk .(root/system/priv-app/SecContacts_note_USA?.apk)
I am also interested in yahoo&twitter edge panels

Here you go mate.
For secContacts.apk if your device isn't rooted, it will switch back to the default dialer if you reset your phone.
Also attached is the CatchFavourite.apk which will install the yahoo finance, news, sports and twitter panels.
In case you didn't know, the Korean panels will remain as well and you can't uninstall any of them unless you disable the 'portalservicewidget' in order to hide the Daum panels.

Since I've changed the secContacts.apk , I no longer have access to Contacts settings - " Unfortunately , Contacts has stopped." I've tried changing the permissions , clearing the cache but didn't help.( I think it has something to do with the KOR ODEX file mis-match )
Other than that , nothing obvious , I'm a happy guy !
I will let you know if anything wrong happens !

Sorry to hear this.
I have lost count of the number of top of the range phones I've owned over the years but I haven't been this excited since Sony Ericsson P800. Absolutely love my Edge to bits!
@invisiblesense Funny thing , I'm getting tweets in korean on my edge panel. It worked just fine in the beginning.
Any ideas ?
PS: Problem solved by clearing data/cache for weather and catchfavorites. The TW weather widget has a tab "broadcast" that is in korean and I think that was the culprit.
Just a heads up, the zip you posted here is the note 4 stock bootanimation. When flashed, we lose the "galaxy note edge" written along the edge screen. Also, the bootmini.qmg files activate as if there were an s view window when using flip wallet cover.
Can someone with an international note edge provide the files please?

During the stock boot animation, there is an additional animation along the edge screen. NOT the lockscreen. Flashing that zip makes the animation only happen on the main screen, instead of main screen+ edge panel.

ja3g is the model of gt-i9500, jfltexx is the model of gt-i9505, just change jfltexx to SM-N9000, make sure you are on lollipop!
And this will change the name of your device, this means the play store or anything else wont effect its reading because the device model didnt change
For info, it also disappears lte option in network settings. It still works if previous enabled.

Bro... Just go to theme center, long press the recent key and then select import theme from the menu appeared... Now select what you want... If you want to import single theme or multiple now there will be that option and then select the theme and then tap on import...

There's no procedure, just a hack but It takes time.. You edit the existing themes without extracting them.. Like replacing the dialer icon, with the icon that you want. You also need to rename those icons. I also added some of my own code while making themes.. But it's not necessary.. Just edit the ones that I made.. And you don't need to replace every icon, Just the ones that will be really used..

Another useless reply, you are on a roll my friend. First I did not say where I got this phone from, and did not ask how do china people use it. This thread is for usefull members along with me try to figure out if it´s possible to do something with the Mate 30 Pro despite of all this political mess. The reason of existence of XDA is to share knowledgeI, no the make assumptions and try to be a smartass. f you have nothing usefull to say, please don´t.
With the Micro G project and regular play services, I got a functional Youtube app, and Play Store accepts credentials but it seems to crash before login. Anyone ELSE has any thoughts or suggestions on this?

yes, maybe Huawei is blocked the important connections to the google server or maybe Google identified the mate 30 and block it for using.

LZPlay = does not work anymore
Other GMS installers also donut work
Installing Google framework, Google services and then play Store also does not work. Apps wont even open.
Using Micro G services, apps open, ask for credentials, but crash after sucessfull login.
I would be more specific if I could, but there is no error on screen for me to show you.
