trying to root my boostmobile moto g XT1031 4.4.4 kit kat

Hello i am sorry if i sound like a idiot by asking this question but oh well. Im trying to root my boostmobile moto g XT1031 4.4.4 kit kat but i do not have access to a PC. Is it possible for me to root a moto g without a PC? I do have access to another cell phone & cellular data but that is all. Can it be done? Thank u for taking the time to read my question & for helping me.

That is a great question that I also want answered. I have the same phone, carrier, phone type(XT1031), and same android system. And I have tried everything, but to no avail.

I currently own a Moto G (just bought it today), 1st gen and I believe it is from Bell (Canada). I've tried using this thread; http://www.elementalxdesigns.com/ec...our-Moto-X-Developer-Edition-and-install-TWRP to unlock my device, but when I put the code in the website (Motorola's), it says my phone cannotb unlocked. Is there another way to go around this? Is my device not unlockable?
I just really want to receive the Lollipop update but I'm not sure how if not to unlock and install a rom that has the lollipop update in it. Could someone tell me how to go about unlocking or how to receive the update normally? Thanks very much in advance. a

How to unbrick moto g 2013 after lollipop update 5.0.2 Asia retail

Guys on 15th Jan, I updated lollipop 5.0.2 Indian version manually by installing the package. everything was fine but Bluetooth seems to be not working so I re- installed the same package. My phone is not at all booting it is stuck. My data in my phone is also erased. I donno what to do? please help me guys...........

You have to consider this: WARNING: Android 5.0 Bootloader and KitKat Compatibility, and that the first Lollipop versions may be a little bit "buggy".

Hello everyone, I'm making this thread because Im having some trouble updating my phone to the latest version of Andriod.
I have an LG G3 D850 factory unlocked. This means it's an at&t phone, so I'd need an at&t sim to update it. The problem is, I dont live in the US, Im from southamerica, Uruguay specifically.
As I dont have the sim or anything, my phone is stuck in Android 4.4.2.
My question is, is there any way for me to update my phone? What happens if I download and install the D855 version for this phone (the international version) will it block my networks?

I just saw an LG G4 (VS986) on ebay. I live in India. The carrier is verizon, the VS986 is an US model. It is written that hotspot won't work. Also there is mentioned that verizon logo will come up during booting. My queries are:
1) Why hotspot won't work? Will I be unable to access WiFi also?
2) Why will verizon logo come up during booting? Is it common or the phone is rooted?
3) Will I also face problems regarding upgrading the phone to marshmallow?
That's all... I know these are too many questions but please help....
