[App] Root Call Blocker needs testers

Hello guys, im the developer of Root Call Blocker, an advanced call and SMS blocking app for rooted phones.

We have had multiple reports that blocking is not working sometimes on the American sammy phones, so we need some nice people to do some testing.
You can use the Groups function of the Lite version to do the testing - it gives you almost everything youd want from the app anyway.
Please post comments here, but also use the "Write to us" dialog in settings.

This is great, my bug with calls comng through sometimes when call waiting with more than 1 number was fixed in 165! Thanks a lot!

Could you guys please test the following behavior for me:
1. How the app behaves when a blocked number attempts to connect during call waiting
2. How a blocked caller is handled when "Dont answer" is set as the reject method and you are currently on the phone and have not enabled blocked call vibrate notifications within the app itself
Dont forget to send logs with descriptions as well.

Guys, an update has been rolled out. It contains an important new workaround thast needs to be tested.
It may help those people who have data issues, especially on LTE enabled phones sometimes.
Please help me test this by installing the app, rebooting and waiting for data to return with the screen on. Please wait 3 minutes at least before sending logs via "Write to developer" in the app.

This actually sort of saved my a$$ so not sure if I should list it as a bug or not LOL anyways I'm using Miui on a HTC Desire Z and I loaded my root blocker pro and added a password and put it in hidden mode. I always back up my blocking settings so I forgot how to load root blocker pro when it's hidden, so I went into the settings into manage applications, then I uninstalled root call blocker and re-installed it and said no to the restore, got into the setting and restored manually. Could be a security flaw, what do you think?

There is no way to prevent this other than taking your sd card out. Its an android flaw.

Not sure if it the app or not. I have an evo shift. Im using the free version and ever since i installed rcb i lose all service sometimes, data and phone. A reboot fixes it. Like i said i never had this problem before i installed rcb. On a lighter note it works great awesome app! I will be buying when i figure out if it rcb or not

RCB will only interfere with data at first run, so it isnt the app. Bad radio, bad signal, pretty much lots of possible reasons...

Ok, i did find that it is blocking all picture mail(mms). Is there a setting to fix it?

It should work with every whatsapp which uses the package com.whatsapp

I searched a bit and found that GBWhatsapp uses the package com.gbwhatsapp.. So it doesn't work, sry :/

GBWhatsApp have 2 different packages. com.gbwhatsapp and com.whatsapp

Oh okay the database has to be in com.whatsapp and notifications have to come from this package, too. Just try it out.. you will get your money back, if it doesnt work.. I just need your order number..

Don't want to butt in but according to xda rules you have to provide a free version for the community if you want to publicize your app on xda..

What do you mean with time feature?
You can add a rule with "received Message: What are you doing" and "answer message: My Master is not here". Thats all you have to do, that the bot will answer

I'm already in contact with someone who is interested in making a Video about it, I put a link in here when he finished it

I try it on that way. But the bot is silence.
Then I write inside the bot received message "Time"
And answer message "%time%"
That's working. So I think I do something wrong.

Maybe grammatical mistakes at the received message? Received message has to be exact as long as you didn't check the "answer if received message contains.." Option. Why shouldn't it work with other words than "Time"?

Hey @TK Studio. I haven't used your app but after coming across this thread, an idea struck me.....maybe you could add a feature like per contact response....so that one can set a response based on from whome the message has been received....I'll try the app shortly. Thanks

There is already a feature to specify contacts who will receive the answer.. Or do you mean something else?

What was the Problem? You have root? You started the bot? And the received message was exactly the same as in the bot?

You made something wrong, I also tested my app on a galaxy s4 and it did work perfectly. It does just work if you get notifications from whatsapp.

Notification Whatsapp "read more"

I have a problem.
I don't have the option " read more" about whatsapp notification.
My colleague has the same phone (Galaxy Note 4) and the same update (R732XXU2BOL6 Gear S2 Classic) and this to work.
I put the factory default and reinstall the app gear s2, but it still doesn't work.
Do you have a solution ?

Yes the update to whatsapp did something. Read more is gone, and the emotes show as squares now. No fixes so far. Contact whatsapp and make them aware of it.

I contacted whatsapp support but they're playing dumb... We'll have to wait and see if they do anything about it.

I've written to whatsapp, too... but they replied to me to read FAQ pages....... Any solution? Reading just the last message is not useful at all

Just downgrade to an older version.

They gave me the same response too. I kept on pushing and provided screenshots and stuff, and in the end, they replied back saying "we are aware of the issue, thanks for your patience". I don't know if they are actually aware of it or just saying to get rid of me. I suggest everyone to bring this to their attention.

I have the same problem. I contact with whatsapp and samsung and none of them did anything. It is incredible with a $400 watch !!!! Smart watch !!!

To be fair, my other messenger apps like Kakaotalk is working really well, so this isn't necessary a fault with gear s2 but with Whatsapp. I already contacted Whatsapp support, and after giving them tons of proof, they replied back saying "they are aware of the issue". Not sure they are actually aware of it or just said it to get rid of me. In any case, you guys all should email Whatsapp support and raise hell like I did so this thing can get fixed.

Exactly the same words: "we are aware of the issue".......... I really hope they'll fix soon! Without "Read more" function, it's better to take the smartphone to avoid loosing multiple messages of the same person......

Same problem here. I have contact whatsapp. No respond

I believe Whatsapp uses the "rich notification" development kit for the S2 to provide chat history. Samsung updated the kit days ago and Whatsapp is using an old one or perhaps they removed it completely

I just mailed the samsung and the whatsapp supports, hope this get fixed!

It is really useless to only be able to read the last message.

Alternative method?
Not really a fix for whatsapp, however I have moved over to telegram which is identical to whatsapp in every way, only not as much people on it. However all my important group chats I have switched to telegram. All the conversation history viewed only on watch comes up. Once you open telegram it resets the conversation history (on the watch).
Hoping whatsapp get there act together.

Intro
sometimes i need to send a WhatsApp Message to someone just for one time ,and for that i need to Save the number in my Contacts ,send the message , and after that delete the contact because i don't need it anymore
so i created this App QWM - Quick WhatsApp Message
How to use
it's very easy and simple ,just enter the number you want with the country code and click Start Chat and it will show a normal WhatsApp chat with the number you entered
