I'm trying to un-root my phone to stock so i can send in for warranty but i can't find my CID or version main. i even tried for looking at this forum but no luck if someone can help by giving me a step by solution or new a Rom that would be great

Hello all my htc one m8 is sim unlocked, bootloader unlocked(htc dev),rooted(twrp/supersu 2.14) and s-off(sunshine) just flashed over arhd 21.0 and now i cannot turn on my wifi. Any help is appreciated thanks !

You should read through the ARHD thread, or any rom you ever flash... Cause most popular issues will always be talked about plenty in the last several pages of the thread. ?
And your issue is your firmware. It's needs to be updated to run any 4.4.4 roms on the M8. Since your S-OFF, here's the easiest way to do that,

You can ask for help there if needed. Or again, read the last several pages of the rom thread.

First off, thank you KJ for taking it easy on a newbie..and I updated my hboot( 3.16 to 3.18) but my baseband is still the same..can this be the issue seeing how I'm coming from stock 4.4.2 (at&t) ?
And seeing how I have no pc is there a way you or anybody who reads this can send me a link to the latest firmware at&t cws__001 ? Thank you very much
Now I'm stumped. Renamed firmware to 0P6BIMG.zip and said update fail first time incorrect cid second time and it scared the living crap out of Me . Help me please help me please
Flashed back stock 4.4.2 sense until I can get around a pc to get super cid. Probably best this way, but my hboot is still 3.18 and my firmware is 1.58.502.1 Now is this a no-no seeing how the stock hboot was 3.16 ?

Just like the title says, I'm not sure what RUU to use. I have the HTC ONE M7 PN07120 model. It's the unlocked version I bought from the HTC US store. I recently purchased HTC one M8_WHL UNLOCKED, the phone was rooted with s-off and supercid , but I changed my cidnum to HTC__J15 , but still i m not getting OTA update , when I go to software update it shows me just checking.. all the time plz give me solution.... I m a beginner please help

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Is the point not that you can flash any carrier's stock ROM with Super CID?
At any rate, if the seller didn't record the original CID, it's probably lost. Your version-main will tell you which stock to use anyway (may need to "fastboot getvar all" to find out what it is).
