UARFCN nexus 5 - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there some way to get the UARFCN/ band on HSPA and 2g network on nexus 5? There is only a way to get the band on LTE networks using Field Test

Nexus 5 on AU network

Is anybody using their nexus 5 on the AU network in Japan? I was using the nexus 4 on softbanks gsm network then sold it and got a note 3 on AU's cdma network and hate the phone. Well more Samsung for making like 80 different variants. So my exact model isn't rooted or rom'd yet. So I'm going to sell and get a nexus 5. I just want to make sure I can use LTE. Nexus says it can use band 1 and au looks like it had band 1. Anybody have any insight on if it will work?

Hi there, im trying to get the LTE band 7 (2600mhz) to work, i unlocked the band using qxdm following the guide on xda but i cant make my phone get connect to LTE, its possible get the band 7 LTE on this phone?

Nexus 5 Lte on T-Mobile?

How is the LTE on T-Mobile in the Bay Area for the Nexus 5? Any problems, speed etc....

nexus 5 and connecting to LTE b12 according to LTE Discovery

Anyone else use LTE discovery app and it shows that they are connected to LTE band 12?
Think it's really band 17, but since they are close to each other, it just says band12?
My Nexus 7 LTE 2013 shows the same
It does not say band 12 for every tower, just a specific one.
Everywhere else is band 4

Hi, i have a Note 5 Sprint working in Mexico, here we have Band4 1700/2100 and if we look specs for snote 5 sprint this support band 4 1700/2100, someone know why i cant get LTE? only 3g..

I am also looking for some pointers whether is it possible to unlock additional LTE Bands so that it can be used anywhere. Has anyone been able to do it?

Possibly enable LTE Roaming if you have your PRL? It's in the ##DATA# menu.

set priority #1 for band 4 in LTE settings inside the DATA Menu, you need MSL code to be able to do it
