[Q] The Poor Need Rooted - General Questions and Answers

For a large portion of us, we are unable to enjoy the luxuries of life, such as those top notch Samsung or even the Ipod/Ipad devices. Well, either way, here are two devices I am trying to find the root for, yet I want to be able to root them WITHOUT a computer.
1) iRULU
2) Astro Queo
I realize that these two devices aren't exactly top-notch, but even so, the poor could use some help. I don't exactly own a computer, have proper computer access (my only computer access is at the library, so I can't install anything), and my devices aren't really the top-of-the-line. But even so, I really would appreciate being able to root my Astro Queo & iRulu to get the full potential that I possibly can.
Please, anyone know how to root these WITHOUT a PC?
I have already tried FRAMAROOT & ANDROOT, neither of these work.

Try Towelroot.

If Towelroot doesn't work, try iRoot, and if iRoot fails, try Kingoroot.

Did any of the XRoot apps work?
I have an Astro Queo A712, and the only issue I have with it is that I cannot move items to the SD card, so the 2GB fills up way to fast!

If the previous owner used an app to root (like z4root or universal androot) then you can unroot by using the same kind of app... if it has been manually rooted via adb (commands via pc/windows) then its a little more complicated! Your phone should show up on your pc regardless, it will only be recognised as external harddrive unless you install the official samsung software recommended for your handset which will also install all the necessary drivers and allow you to interact with your phone easier.
Root access can be useful, make sure to have a quick look around to make sure you want to loose it

Hey its very simple to root, but i found it after searching for it a lot. Download Kingo Root app from pc, There are two ways. 1. You can do it with android app directly in your tab. 2. Do using pc. I have done using Android app. So you can get the apk file in its website or google it. Go to products in it website and download apk for android. You have to download it from pc as market doesnt shows. After download install and open the app. It will show your Tab or android details, like Model name and android version. And details either its rooted device or Not. if it is not rooted it will indicate as no root, so click on the bottom of the page to root. It will do 4 things wait till its done till 100%. Approximately it may take around 2 to 5 minutes. After its done, Restart the device. And again open the App. Check what it indicate as rooted device or non rooted. If it shows as rooted, then your smartphone is successfully rooted. And if it shows as No root try again.
Note Try even though if your device is not listed in list, because list is incomplete, because it say "NOT LISTED" does not necessarily mean "NOT SUPPORTED".
for any more details regarding it plz mail me at [email protected]

[Completed] [Q] Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 (SM-G3502) Rooting Help

So.. After a whole week trying to find a succesful way to root this f***ng phone, no success has been found.
I couldn't find this phone's section on XDA so I'm posting this on the general section...
If anyone could give me the link to the section, it would be very appreciated.
This is the phone:
Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 - SM-G3502C
Android Version: 4.3
Build Number: JLS36C.G3502CZCUAOD1
I have tried a number of on android apps, windows software, and even tried rooting manually by adb and linux. But couldn't have a single successful attemp or any signs of advancement...
Can anyone help me out with this phone, the reason I need root is because this is a chinese phone and doesnt have Play Store installed, and I need root access to install Play Store on /system/apps/ and give R+W permission...
Apps tried:
Saferoot
Kingo App Root
iRoot (vRoot/Root Master)
OneClickRoot
TowelRoot
A bunch of .bat rooting scripts
Baidu in-app Rooter
Rooting through ADB (everything was going fine until I had to access Ubuntu's Nautilus, to move the files to /system/ but the device wouldn't mount by MTP, and I couldn't access the files) link to the guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2684210
Any help would be truly appreciated, and If there is a way to install play store without the need of root access, or even a good replacement for play store would be really good.
Also, I have 0 experience on custom recovery, so, If any developer out there could create a custom recovery for this phone, I could give them the recovery.img from this phone and modify it to work on this phone. If that's the way it works, idk XD.
Hi, thank you for using XDA assist. Unfortunately I can't find anything on XDA regarding rooting your phone. You've probably already tried all these but maybe this will help, http://www.xda-developers.com/root/

How to Root Lenovo Tab3 7 Essential (TB3-710F)?

Hi,
I'd like to root my Lenovo Tab3 7 Essential (TB3-710F).
Could anyone please recommend me an application to do that?
I'm asking because I haven't seen any method to ROOT this specific device, for that reason I'm not sure that this could work well.
I've seen that are two populars application to do this:
*Kingroot
*KingOroot
Q1: Has anyone used any of these applications to root this specific device Tab3 7 Essential (TB3-710F), I'd prefer to do it using the apk file, is that ok?
Q2: Are these apps dangerous in any way?
Q3: I see that they are free. Do they come with advertising / ads?
Thanks in advance,
Hi, I tried to root it using Kingroot, Kingoroot and other aplications but it didn´t work. Actually, Kingoroot was "sucessful" but after rebooting the system it didn´t start again. I had to flash the correct ROM TB3-710F_S000025_160613_ROW. I found other post about the same problem with Kingoroot, but it was too late for me. I lost a lot of time fixing the tablet.
Don´t root it for now. Probably in the near future you will find a suitable method to root it.
So still no solution to root this tab until now?
