Hi! Today i tried to update the i9003L of my brother's girlfriend. Ive gad RemICS 4.0.4, wiped data and then flashed RemICS JB. But when its mostly complete, the phone goes off and then automatically turned on. I get a bootloop at the animation. I cant even enter to recovery and flash gapps but still can i enter to the download mode. So i've downloaded a 2.3.6 gingerbread (i dont remember the buold but it starts with UB, from argentina my country) and flashed from odin, it says flash and the phone reboots, but i still have the bootloop problem in samsung logo animation. I dont think i ve messed the sd card because when i flashed the stock rom apears a yellow letters saying wiping data and wiping cache, and i didnt have any error (i guess). I cant enter stock recovery because when i press the vol up home and power button the screen fades to black and then reboots. Please help me, tomorrow i will flash cf root to see whats happening and if my sd card isnt f*cked up i will flash RemICS 4.0.4 again. Thats correct or i need to go back froyo? Please help! Sorry my bad english
You should have noticed that i9003L is not same as i9003, they didn't share same firmware if I'm not mistaken as I found different official firmware for both.
Hey? Sorry but its my first time hearing i9003L and googled it. I think its i9003 our phone. Hold volume first, then HOME button, then last the power. If it reboots to recovery, ur just fine.
Found some information about i9003L in Chile Samsung website.
Based on the site, it's called Samsung Galaxy S Latona
The specs are the same but I'm not sure you can directly flash i9003 rom without some modification.
You can try flashing with kpe+pit first if you can enter download mode.
Beware that in our rom, the build prop stated i9003, I'm not sure whether it will cause trouble in your phone.

I9003 use latona. Also googled it, its the same as our device.
Okay, about the fade to black when opening stock recovery,
After holding the power+home+vol up, when the phone boots, you have to release the power button but don't release the two buttons yet until the recovery is opened.

Open the recovery using steps I said just now, wipe data/cache.
Download firmware XXKPE.
Use Odin v1.8x (not odin 4.x), place latona.pit as pit file, tick the check box repartition. place phone in download mode and plug it in. Start the flash.
After it says pass, unplug and remove battery and place the battery back.
Plug it back in download mode,
Put other files of KPE (Phone, Pda, Boot) and flash. The phone reboots itself.
Also using Odin,
place the Gingerbread firmware on PDA, put the phone in download mode, connect to pc and press start. After a while the yellow/green(whatever color it is) square in odin will show "PASS" and the phone reboots itself. You can unplug the phone.
Poof! The phone is now functional.

Hi! Thanks! i fixed the phone (uff...), first i tried to go to stock GB, flashed ok and ODIN sayed "PASS", but i have a bootloop again, so flashed CF-Root and i have the screen fading to black again, but, thanks for the advice, ive pressed Power, Home and volume up, and then stop pressing Power, and then the recovery appears!! Wiped everything and i've flashed the RemICS 4.0.4, rebooted and works! i cant belive the phone is working again!. Thanks for the support.
And yes, the i9003L and i9003 are the same phone, the "L" means it has a diferent modem, but the specs are the same and their roms are also the same. Also The L or Latona is for "Latin America"/Latinoamérica. So thanks again and sorry for my bad english!

Good evening everyone.
I bought Samsung galaxy tab 7.7 GT-P6800 about month ago. It's been working fine, till this saturday. When i tried to unlock my Tab, device didn't respond. I tried to power it on, but still no response. Hm, the reason of this thing is only one - too low battery. So, i putted my device on charge (saw battery icon on screen). After 2 hours, I came back and tried to power my device again, but it freezed with this battery icon. I hold power button for 10-15 seconds and my device started to load, but it got freezed on "Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7". My Tab is rooted, but firmware is official.
What my DEVICE CAN'T DO:
* Can't load into CWM (freezing at "Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7";
* Can't Power on;
* Can't charge;
* Can't connect to PC.
What my DEVICE CAN DO:
* Load into Downloading mode.
Is it possible to restore my Tab? If yes, how to do it, using Downloading mode (Kies doesn't see my tab)? Please help.
Thanks for your help.

I feel sorry about that. Do you clean install your ROM? If you can now go to CWM Recovery, then it would be good. You can try factory reset in CWM.
I had the same issue this is when the flashed Rom is damaged.You need to install the originap Samsung Rom which can be bought from samsung or give your tab to a repair shop they will have the neccery things.

you need to make factory reset using cwm recovery... If you reinstall the Official Honeycomb firmware... you are safe to wipe using the stock 3e recovery... if you are on ICS... please go to download mode and install cwm... then factory reset...

Hey,
Thanks for your reply!
I flashed my SGT 7.7 back to Official Honeycomb firmware, but i still can't access recovery mode. The only thing i can do is - load into download mode. I can't install CWM, because i flashed it to NON rooted Official firmware. It's still like a brick
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Flashed CWM using Odin, but still can't access anything. I can only see two loading screens:
1. Freezing battery icon. (it happens, when i try to charge my tablet)
2. Freezing Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 sign.(it happens, when i just try to power my device on)
The only way I can power off my tablet is to wait untill my device's battery discharges.
I'm in the same situation:
1. Freezing battery icon. (it happens, when i try to charge my tablet)
2. Freezing Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 sign.(it happens, when i just try to power my device on)
Although I can boot into CWM 5.0.2.7 but I'm unable to successfully get a rom to work...
Very frustrating isn't it.
I'm thinking about trying this...

What firmware were you using on your tablet, while you were flashing CWM? Why I am asking it, is because i tried lots of different firmwares to install CWM and i couldn't boot into CWM niether with honeycomb, nor with ICS. And yeah thanks for your help.

I started with ICS stock but after my initial flash did't work I believe I wasn't really running any rom because it didn't work.
I then went into Odin/download mode (holding volume down and power).
once in I used the cwm-6.0.2.3-p6800.tar file and loaded it under "Bootloader" then I flashed that successfully.
to then get into recovery I hold Volume up + power (for a very long time about 20secs).
Once in recovery then you can begin the above guide to repair the sdcard.
Hope that helps.
Thanks again for your reply.
I did exactly everything you wrote, even installed original ICS firmware again using Odin. Flashed recovery, hold Power + Vol Up buttons for like 5 minutes, but f*** this, still didn't boot into recovery. Erh.. my device is broken forever.. No solution for all this..

How do you flash CWM using ODIN? CWM isn't a Bootloader, nor a PDA, nor a Phone, nor a CSC.
Thanks in advance, hope I'll get back my Galaxy Tab 7.7!
1. go to download mode
2. connect your device to your pc and start odin
3. put the cwm files on phone section of odin
4. flash awayyyyy....
Yay
Yaaaaay! Problem solved! My Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. P6800 is alive again!
The problem was so easy, that i laught alot, when solved it. The problem was with micro SDcard. I used micro SDcard from my last Nokia phone, but Nokia's micro SDcard didn't approach to SGT7.7, but it approached ONLY by the size! So I used another micro SDcard, which I got when I bougt my Tab! Woohoo, i'm so happy now :laugh:

I used V3.07 version of Odin to load TWRP2.6.3.0 and even though I had to do it multiple times, it did take it.
Hey experts so i have the S6 gm-920F i updated OTA and now the phone doesnt recognize the fingerprint and forgot the password so i install TWRP 3 via odin booted the recovery and transferred my data successfully then I made a factory reset to delete the passcode to be able to use the phone after making the reset and pressing reboot system it gets stuck in the recovery the system doesn't reboot so i tried hard rebooting the phone is stuck on black screen that says samsung galaxy s6 and restarts restarts restarts (bootloop) i tried reflash the 6.0.1 bootloader no luck then flash 5.1 bootloader flashed philz recovery then 6.0.1 bootloader still nothing! Did i damage something serious ? does a fresh firmware install through odin bring my phone back to life ? Thanks in advance
Please try a fresh install of Firmware. Install MM bootloader and modem first with TWRP MM compatible recovery and download an extra lite MM rom to see if your phone will come back to life, (using extra lite package is less of a download than a stock 2gb download)
TWRP is what gave me the problem once i enter i can exit from there ! i got the stock firmware tried to flash using odin then get fail! please can you give a noob some simple instructions with links ?
Hi mate, Try flashing through ODIN a TAR image for your phone version. You can find a TAR on a website such as sammobile. Once you have download the tar put your phone into download mode by pressing and holding Volume Down, Home and Power keys at the same time. Start ODIN and connect the phone to your computer, click AP and browse and find the TAR file you downloaded. Then click start and it should flash back stock firmware for your phone.

I can't promise that you haven't, however it is extremely hard to hard brick a phone these days. There are many ways to try and restore it to previous condition not all of which I am familiar with, if this doesn't solve your problem keep scouring XDA for an answer, undoutably a more skilled dev will be able to help you

Hello,
I tried to flash Xposed using TWRP on my brand new rooted Samsung Galaxy S7. The installation seemed to fail, and I tried rebooting the phone, and now it gets stuck on the starting Samsung Galaxy S7 screen. After a couple of minutes, it loads the Samsung logo, and then gets stuck on that.
I tried to hard reboot a few times using Power + Vol Down, but it doesn't help, and I don't know how to just turn the phone off as opposed to reboot it (holding down Power by itself does nothing) so I can attempt to access Recovery.
Can anyone suggest what to do?
Thanks in advance, help is much appreciated.
EDIT: So, I managed to get into TWRP Recovery by quickly pressing Power + Vol Up + Home after hard rebooting, and I tried to wipe the Cache and Dalvik, but even that fails. I get the same "unable to mount storage" error. :/

Hi, sorry.
The phone model is SM-G930F.
I followed this guide: http://www.androidbeat.com/2016/05/install-xposed-framework-on-samsung-galaxy-s7/
Using the Installation ZIP file listed under "For 64-bit Android devices like HTC One A9, Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X" from here: http://www.androidbeat.com/download-xposed-framework-installer/ - the filename is "xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64.zip"
And I flashed it using TWRP Recovery.
The error it gave me when it failed was akin to "cannot mount storage."
So, I managed to get into TWRP Recovery by quickly pressing Power + Vol Up + Home after hard rebooting, and I tried to wipe the Cache and Dalvik, but even that fails. I get the same "unable to mount storage" error. :/

Hi
Un install the framework you used is not the correct one , for Samsung devices you need the unofficial one from Wanam, the official does not work correctly
you need this one.

Yeah, I know, but I couldn't flash anything with TWRP. :/ including the Uninstaller. So I followed the suggestion on this thread:
