[Q] Z3 Bumper Case? - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
I was thinking about cases for the phone and I really love the look of the phone and hate covering up it's beauty so I was wondering if there existed phone bumpers like the old iPhone 4 used to have and make back in the day. If they made some for the Z3 (possibly in different colors too) I think that would be awesome. I've heard of there being a metal bumper but that just doesn't satisfy what I want, plus it doesn't look that great IMHO.
So I was wondering if any of y'all out there know if a bumper case similar to those on the iPhone's exists?

Check out bumpers made by deff.

They are pricy but at least with good quality if you like the design.

Classy sleek cases

First off.. I've had the G2 since the release date and I'm all smiles. Coming from a rooted G1, the G2 is a vast improvement. I'm loving everything about it... but one thing that I wish it had was a really nice case. I know it's still really early.. but do you guys think there'll be aftermarket cases that are as nice as the nice cases for the iphone? This isn't another G2 vs iphone4 debate.. but to be honest, the cases I've seen for the iphones (all generations) have been far nicer than anything I've seen for the G1.. and now the G2.
So what do you guys think.. is there hope for nicer cases for the G2? I know the hinge and the keyboard makes it more difficult.. but still.. what we have now (and what has existed for the G1) are pathetic.
I have the snap on gel case I bought at T-Mobile and I think it is excellent. It fits perfectly and doesn't make using the top row on the keyboard difficult, which was my main concern. It does make using the virtual keyboard more difficult, especially in portrait, when touching keys near the edges like "p", but I can live with that. It also looks very sleek. I also tried the belt clip case at T-Mobile and it did not fit as well.

The gel case from T-Mobile is far from being "classy" or "sleek". Save your cash until something better comes out.
Uh, the gel case is awesome, just like the phone. Best 16 bucks I'll ever spend on my G2.

There needs to be something like the all black incase iPhone slider. No shine, no design, just a sleek looking protective cover.

That's what I'm saying.. I'm always so envious of incase products. They're so well designed and so simply beautiful. If only they would expand to android products...
I'm trying to get a lakers case... right now I bought a grippy soft case frm tmobile.I've had it on there since day 1

Have you guys seen the air jacket for iPhone3GS? Those are pretty clean. They crack easily though. my gf has one on her 3GS, i think it's like 0.7mm
I think that company only does Apple products :/

[CASE] - G5 - Spigen Neo-Hybrid - Pics

Got the Spigen Neo-Hybrid case. Rubber shock case with hard plastic frame.
I like it, has the same texture as the S5 on the back. I have the silver, very nice looking. I think they have like 6 colors to choose from.
Weighs next to nothing and doesn't increase the phone size too much. Cheapest I found was Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Spigen%C2%AE-METALLIZED-BUTTONS-Protective-Protection/dp/B00I3UWGVA/ref=sr_1_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1400088241&sr=1-3&keywords=Galaxy+S5+spigen+neo+hybrid
Nice Case ! :good:
Looks like a nice case, but the cheapest you found one amazon ain't cheap... I mean, in general this case isn't cheap lol
I bought this case for my S5 as I had it for the S4.
Dont know whether its the size difference between the two phones but, with this new case, my S5 seems huge.
I like the case but just prefer my phone without it....

Yeah, it squares the corners, i.e. makes it thicker. I could have lived without the larger screen on the S5. Made it just big enough to not fit a pocket but not enough to really make a difference. When everyone asks me what my phone is I tell them iPhone because it looks like a giant iPhone in this case.
I have that case and my phone looks huge with it.
Been looking for a back door with more protection in replacement of existing OEM door. Best way to get protection without increasing the size of the phone.
Wow, easily one of the best cases I've seen for the GS5.
I just returned thus case back to Amazon, I felt it made my phone too wide. But it is a really nice looking case, I'm ordering the ultra hybrid because I gad it on my nexus 5 and loved it

I got my blue one delivered earlier today, and it looks and feels great.
I chose it because I needed something thin to work with my wireless charging card and it's been great. It really soaks up the heat from it though. Oh well, it's rubber/plastic.

i too have a Spigen.
i have the all black. not the gloss but the matte. its pretty dope IMO makes it the black S5 look super clean..

Best Note 4 Case? Spigen Tough Armor

I have been using this case for almost a week now and i must say at first it felt bulky, and Yes thats coming from someone with a Note 4. Also its hard to use the Hear Rate monitor but it does work, just needs a little playing around with. In all I got use to the size of the case and now don't even notice it. Its got an awesome design, the Protection i want and is in my budget. Cost only $17 USD which is not bad at all. The case also features a kickstand which I think I already broke... its still works though. You can watch my review on it below if you like.
UPDATE: Its been a week and the case has grown on me but now I seen something else that makes me feel like the Tough Armour is not the best there is.

Hi, I just got my Note 4 and am searching for "the best case" Untill now I was thinking about buying the tough armor..... then I saw your post! What does make you feel this wouldn't be the beste case there is. Is there anything bad about it that you have experienced? I haven't seen the case in real yet, since there is no store in Germany where we can buy it.... we can just order it online and the cheapest price is $27,50 (converted). So about $10 more than in the US. Which case would you recommend more than that?
Appreciate any info. Cheers!
its not too bad, but the flush buttons are SUPER annoying
I have this case. I'm still getting used to the buttons, but I love it in general. The only thing missing IMO would be a holster clip that fit this case with the glass facing inwards. I probably wouldn't even use it for the holster part so much as keeping this badboy sealed up tight when I'm not using it.
Spigen kickstands are a joke, cheap pieces of crap that fall off way too easily. Case might be fine but why include a POS flimsy kickstand?
Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
I switched from this to the Otterbox Symmetry. The otter just seems more protective for some reason.
I just picked up this case. Like it. Sure seems like it will protect the phone for sure. The flush buttons are good for design, but can be tough to find sometimes if you're not looking too close. Fits nice though. I tried an S View case as well as an LED Flip Wallet and hated flipping the front over and behind to use the phone. Like this much better overall.

Verus Thor is the best case for the Note 4

there I said it.
-fits perfectly
-protects, like seriously
-not too thin, not too thick, just right
-not slippery, adds hand fitting design, holds well
-not fugly too thick for the sake of protection
-doesn't cost an arm and a leg
-isnt a lint or dirt magnet
-nothing crazy like waterproof or seethru
-protects your camera too, and front screen
-won't scratch your bezel
I just have to share this as many of you are still wasting time and money trying out diff cases. I suggest getting yourself a Thor first then knock yourself out with experimenting with all the others if you must. but for now, Thor is the best.
other companies really failed us on this one. they just wanted to release cases faster than they can test them out. turning us into guinea pigs.
Im sure that it doesnt have tech21 material on it. Tech21 cases are probably better than any cases out there and it has evidence with videos..
Pics?
I have to agree about the Tech21 case. I have it and it is light years away from the others I tried. Very nice case for the Note 4.
lol so superb
Agreed with LeoNote4 100%. I haven't removed the case since I got it. Much better feel than the Spigen cases. I have all of the Spigen cases and UAG Scout. May try the Tech21 Impact Tactical.
Anyone know if either of these will fit if I am using the OEM wireless charging cover?
Yes a very nice case and I really like it but I hate to try to find a holster to fit that.

This Pouch will fit it: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OJNK1B2/ref=pe_385040_127541860_TE_3p_dp_1
gpo1956...I don't think the case will fit with the charging cover. The note 4 fit with the Thor is tight. Fits like a glove.
Bought the Thor and IronShield Day 1 on Amazon. Loved the Thor soo much bought another. Haven't searched for a new case, nor taken it off since.

at some point, a company has to find the perfect balance over one perfect feature. tech21 major design flaw is it's design. it prides itself and rightly so on total protection of the device. this comes at a huge compromise in design. in addition to that dull appearance, the case also creates a lot of smudge from your hands and fingers. it gets annoying to clean up everytime and it looks too gross to show others.
users would find themselves looking for a case that still provides decent protection, maybe bulletproof is overkill, but just enough safety feature and still covers all the other points. nobody said its perfect in all areas, but what Thor provides is that reasonable balance in design, protection, grip, price without compromising so much on one or two features.
Bought this case in silver on ebay. Selling priced at $23.95(shipping included). This is the best one for the Note 4 so far

Umm except you forgot the fact that its thick and ugly lol. Rinkle slim is my favorite one so far. I mean I got a beautiful looking phone and I'm not gonna put that kind of case on it. But that's just my opinion.

I have the Tech21 Impactology wallet case and the OEM charging back; regrettably it does not fit but it's my favorite case with the normal back cover.
Can anyone using the Verus Thor case recommend, ideally from experience, a good car mount? In part because of the curved sides, it's difficult for me to judge the case's effective width use in a car mount.
TIA

only $16.95 now still worth the money??
I'm still a fan of the Otterbox Defender and the UAG cases. I have used both on my Notes. I don't mind the additional thickness in exchange for protection. I have dropped my Note 3 from chest high onto my concrete driveway with each case and the phone has survived just fine. I have gotten out of my car and forgotten that my phone was in my lap, only to have it drop onto the concrete. No problem!! I have seen all of the video's and listened to the claims of other cases, but I can personally attest to the fact that the 2 cases I have mentioned will protect your investment should you ever drop it.

[Q] Ghostek Cases?? Anyone have opinions?

Never heard of Ghostek before. Just wondered if they are actually a Case maker or just repackaging someone elses cases. As alot of their cases look similar to many others on the market. Reviews of there cases seems a pretty mixed bag. Was looking at there new Note 4 waterproof case.
There cases are average at best, they offer decent protection but its very flimsy and button covers too sensitive when barely pressed on.

I've never heard of them either. They don't look like anything that I would declare to be WONDERFUL or Supreme, but looks alright. I'm probably not going to buy it.
Yeah alot of their reviews seem a pretty mixed bag. Why wont someone offer a decent looking water resist case I just dont get it.
I just got this case last week...its a decent case my only complaint is that I cannot use the fingerprint reader on the note 4. Overall its great protection....better than the otterbox case. I also like the fact that it locks in the stylus.
Avoid! I bought the one with integrated screen protector. The side buttons were WAY too sensitive and the screen protector was a joke, being way you tacky and leaving air gaps between screen and film. Better stick with more reputable case makers. I bought several Spigen covers which are all much better quality.
