My M2 wont turn on again, but i can go in CWM recovery
its in a kinda semi-off state and the screen is black but still like on-black. so its still shining, also i can only reboot my phone when i attach it to a computer and run ''adb reboot bootloader''
is it bricked? because i tried clearing the cashe and restoring to factory settings, can somebody help me fix this?
android 4.4.4
Installed CWM before but i think i installed it twice.
Have you tried to flash a new firmware with wiping everything? Also if you can provide a logcat that would be great

My adb doesnt recognise my device, and i cant get into download mode
You could try to flash a stock ftf with flashtool in flashmode
I have the same problem, only flashing red light when charging the battery. have any idea as it could refresh this external battery?
If you cant connect ur device as ADB try downloading latest google android drivers from here and try again

Your adb setup isn't working. Have you booted your phone holding VOL+ and power? Are your ADB drivers installed?
It's either the first or the last one, check your stuff. I doubt it's bricked.

REBOOT BOOTLOADER
REBOOT
RECOVERY

I've never had good luck with the Android SDK driver, I use the PDANet driver instead.
http://junefabrics.com/android/index.php
That always got my phone to be detected after.
Edit: That's the fastboot screen. You should have used this when you rooted your phone, if you did it "manually".
You will use fastboot flash recovery recoveryimage.img
to flash a recovery. Recoveryimage.img will be the name of the recovery you're trying to flash.
i did and thats what i get when im trying flash the recovery
wow i restarted the phone and tried and it worked

My Phone (Obviously T769) is stuck in the Download mode saying
"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again."
I tried that, Kies does not detect my phone in this mode. (I think. may be wrong)
What I did that got me up to here:
Tried to reflash to stock using Odin since my ROM was damaged.
Loads the PIT and TAR
Goes into download mode
Starts.
IT FAILS.
I try to just go back to android.
End up wid dis screen.

EDIT:Fixed this by flashing AGAIN with Odin.
NOW IM IN A MOTHER
FREAKING
BOOTLOOP. (I did uncheck re-partition)(ALSO, I cannot enter download mode. Does not work for whatsoever reason.)
If anyone can help this, that would be nice

Boot to the recovery and factory reset.
If still no go, use Odin to flash cwm and boot to it and do a factory reset, wipe cache, and davlik cache.
And again, if it still wont boot get into cwm again and do a full wipe (all of the previous wipes and format /system), then rerun Odin to flash the stock firmware.

I didn't see your edit down there.
To get in into the recovery, with the phone off, hold both the volume up and down (the whole rocker) and the power button until you see the recovery.
If your having issues getting into Download mode take a look at these tips. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27360727&postcount=57

The phone just keeps to vibrate nonstop as I keep doing that. (Entering recovery mode) it doesnt seem to work.
Should I try ADB to force it into download mode? (If so, HALP? )
EDIT AGAIN: Im a ****ing idiot, I forghot to put the USB so I didnt go into download mode.
NOW when I try to flash something with Odin, it just detects but thenI start the process, it tells me it failed and then its not detected. . Using 1.8.5 by K0nane

Hi, I need help. I flashed the DoomsDayRom on my Xperia J ST26i. I followed all the steps and it went well until I wanted to flash a new rom. I found out that I could not access CWM on my phone even after doing the Vol. up button when there's the purple light. In fact, there was no purple light! There was only a blue light before the phone booted up. After that, I deleted the .zip file from my SD card and tried again. It was the same. Except this time, the error message "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped.". That popped up every time I closed it and I couldn't do a thing. Please help me!:crying:
I downloaded the rom from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-j-e/development/doomsday-rom-jlo-stock-based-t2636164
Try installing CWM from PC again.
If you still can't go to it, you may also try some xposed module (I am sorry, I forgot the name) which gives you options to reboot (even to recovery) when you try to turn off your phone by pressing and holding power button.
If that still doesn't work, you gotta flash your phone bro.
Thanks, but...

Im using Shuame to re-unlock my bootloader and I will then root it...
By Flashing your phone, I mean using Flashtool which uses ftf files to install stock ROM into the phone. Its similar to Sony Update Service or PC Companion repair method, but doesn't require you to download firmware each time you flash.

Hi guys I rooted my Z3 and installed TWRP so i could install a custom rom. So I downloaded the ROM, booted to TWRP, wiped everything, then installed the ROM. It said everything was successful so I rebooted my phone. Now there is a black screen. When I hold the power button, the phone vibrates for a second but nothing happens. When I plug my phone in, there is a red flashing light. What do I do?? Please help me.

That has a custom kernel so you need to unlock the bootloader to flash it.
To repair it you can restore the backup you must have taken in recovery before flashing the rom
or
Flash a stock FTF in flashtool from flashtool.net
or
Force a software repair using PCCompanion.

The custom kernel should have recovery in it (Probably) so you can try entering by pressing the volume up or down button when you reboot the phone.
EDIT, my mistake, the kernel is not booting.
Flash a stock FTF ending in .93, root, install recovery and restore the backup
or
Force a software repair using PCCompanion, downgrade, root, install recovery, restore backup

goto C:\flashtool\drivers
run drivers.exe
choose Z3, fastboot and flashmode drivers

Hello guys. I need your help badly.
I am using Galaxy Grand Prime smg530h
The problem is when I push the power button, my phone automatically boots to recovery mode which is Twrp, yeah I was my only problem last time. I guess I wipe something using twrp, my phone says "NO OS INSTALLED" . Then I googled some ways to fix so I installed a custom rom using twrp. I though my problem was solved but still when I turn on my phone it automatically boots recovery. I googled again and did something. But a big problem shows up, When I turn on my phone, it boots automatically to twrp but after the samsung logo flashes, black screen appears. Its just blank but the my phone black light is on and I think im on twrp since everytime I touch the screen it vibrates.
Please help me

Have you tried to re-install everything including your recovery? Perhaps even your bootloader or try to flash your ROM manually from fastboot or adb.

There is already a guide available for how to flash stock rom, which you can check out here. You can get the stock rom from sammobile, the official samsung firmware resource which you can check out here.
Good luck!
Edit: You can then try to reflash twrp and if it doesn't work, post about it in the twrp thread for your device.

Samsung doesn't use fastboot, they use download mode and flash with Odin. Be familiar with these kinds of specifics about a device if you're going to give advice, otherwise you might tell someone something very wrong unintentionally.

CWM is a dead project, it is no longer supported, that is why you are only finding TWRP. If you want custom recovery, use TWRP, it is a much better recovery than CWM anyway.
