Do you mean this TWRP recovery: [RECOVERY] TWRP D802/ATT/VZW (2.6.3.3) F320k [AUTO][ZIP] TMO [ZIP][2.6.3.2]?
Or this: [RECOVERY][D802] TWRP Recovery 2.7.0.0?
Maybe there will be an updated version for your device, as latest TWRP recovery is v2.8.4.0.
And check the installation guide for TWRP recovery on your device: [GUIDE] INSTALLING TWRP on LGG2 (VZW, AT&T, TMobile, KT, d802, others) [UPDATED].
Maybe the TWRP recovery version you flashed does not support your device and/or ROM.

besides philz cwm is there a official clockworkmod for cm11??
PhilZ cwm does not autoflash cm11 updates. Always have to manually reboot into recovery and flash the new nightly.
I cannot find it anyhwere on the clockworkmod.com website. Is there no official CMW 6.0.4.4 or higher for the D801 ???

Use AutoRec. It will downgrade your bootloader to be able to flash recovery.
Same issue here
Flashing it back to jellybean worked for me! Thank you again Xda !

[Completed] [Q] Galaxy S4 Build Number JDQ39.1337UCUAMCS

Hello, I'm having a lot of trouble trying to find a recovery for this phone. It's rooted by using odin but, I don't know which recovery to install. I tried installing twrp, and cwm to flash a rom because I'm on 4.22, but only reboots not to recovery. Anyone know what to do? Thanks
Recoveries are highly specific to your exact model of S4. So can you specify which US Carrier did you get the S4 from ? Or is it the international version ?
It's att but unlocked for any gsm network. It's now connected to Metro pcs.
You can use [RECOVERY][jflteatt] TWRP 2.8.3.0 touch recovery [2014-12-22]
Post on that thread if you still have questions.
Twrp not working.
I already tried those methods and twrp keeps crashing, it doesn't allow it to flash.
Anyone??
In htat case post in [Q&A] [RECOVERY][jflteatt] TWRP 2.8.1.0 touch recovery [2014-10-29] so that the right experts of your device may be of help.

On most android devices, you can't apply stock OTA updates on rooted devices or devices that have TWRP installed, stock updates require an unmodified system partition(meaning no root) and must have stock recovery because stock recovery is what actually flashes the update, TWRP cannot flash stock updates.
Do a Google search for:
"Return to stock (your model number)"
Or, you can try restoring a nandroid backup of your stock ROM if you ever created one in TWRP at any time before the update. Or you can try flashing a custom ROM for your specific device via TWRP.
