I bricked my moto g XT1033 and flashed a custom recovery (Clockworkmod) but when I started the custom recovery a wavy blurriness keeps sweeping the screen. Then I flashed cm12 nightly build and the problem was still there but a new problem started. This message : "Unfortunately, system ui has stopped" keeps popping at half a second interval. The wavy line problem stops after 5-10 mins after boot but the popup problem persists. Maybe the two problems are interrelated. I have tried factory reset, wiping cache, system and all data but to no avail. I have tried flashing cm again too. Please help !!!!

Flashed another build of cm12 after a clean wipe and it solved the problem.

Hi ,
got annoyed with constant rebooting and stuff (stuck on .17 presently after failed update) so wiped all data from recovery to start again fresh.
unfortunately acore process repeatedly stops every 30 seconds or so . wiped data again from settings but still happening.
going to unlock, install twrp and then eventually custom ROM when I get time.
Anyone know of a fix to stop this acore notification in the meantime ?
Thanks for your help !

Error help
someone1 help me fix the error... I tired all solutions mentioned so far...
as soon as it loads I get an error for com.android.phone has stopped.
and in the settings under modile data click on more crashes the settings and back to menu:crying:
Did you perform a full wipe/reset including cache and then dalvik cache?
Try another ROM, I suggest Daniel's carbonrom.
I tried to dial the # and I got this message unfortunately process com.android.phone has stopped
now every time I hit ok it comes back - after 3 times phone reboots and starts over the same message.
Phone is stock - just got updates OTA it is Global version
please advise if anyone had same issue and possible resolution. I checked some solutions from GAlaxy s2 and 3 but all of them require phone to actually work - I cant get to settings
thank you
Well i had the same problem after flashing many different roms. My mistake was forgetting to wipe to factory reset before flashing. Maybe this will solve your problem too.
Having this issue as well!
This started happening to me this morning. I am running CM12 Nightlies. I tried factory resetting...still happens. I tried everything. I even tried fastboot flashing the device to 100% stock...the first time I booted up after flashing stock and locking bootloader....the phone says "Unfortunately, the process com. android. phone has stopped". EVEN AFTER A FULL FLASH BACK TO STOCK UNROOTED 4.4.4!
HELP PLEASE!
[Q] "Unfortunately com.android.systemui has stopped" when rebooting CM11 Snapshot M5
I've unlocked the bootloader, rooted my Moto G (xt1032) with superboot and installed CWM recovery on it. So I tried installing Cyanogenmod 11 (cm-11-20140405-SNAPSHOT-M5-falcon.zip at the moment) for my device and initially, everything works fine. It boots pretty smooth and downloads all the apps from the Google Play Store. But when I reboot the device I get the eroor "Unfortunately com.android.systemui has stopped" a few times. After clicking "okay" I get to enter my PIN for my SIM card, but then it just gets worse. The error pops up constantly and I have no possibility of selecting anything else. The apps on my wallpaper dissappear and appear again, the wallpaper switches to fullscreen, then normal again and so on. Wiping cache or dalvik cache does nothing, only a factory reset helps. Then it installs all the apps again, but when I reboot, the same problem persists.
Some threads suggested it may be an app and since it only happens when I reboot, could it be an app that launches on boot?
Others suggested trying an older version of Cyanogenmod (which is why I'm using M5 at the moment. M6 gave the exact same problem). Or has it something to do with the gapps file I'm using?
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

My phone turned off and at restart displays "Logging" at startup screen and bootloop with "Unfortunately system ui has stopped" message, etc. I've tried factory reset but nothing change. After downloading firmware from here, I've tried a flash which ended successfully but problem persists. How to fix this ? thanks

looks like you are flashing wrong firmware and/or OS.
Make sure you have One A9s and not A9
