[Q] Gmail app disappeared and cannot be installed - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
a few days ago the Gmail app on my Moto G phone disappeared. Trying to install it via Google Play fails with the error code -100. The phone is not rooted and has the standard 4.4.4 Android running.
Regards
Humbaba

Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA about this. I need to know if you're on the 2013 or 2014 moto G, so I can point you towards help.
Thanks!

Thanks for taking a look at this problem. Its a 2013 Moto G.

I can't find anything helpful. I'll have your thread moved to your device section.

[Completed] Moto G Videos are Green and Purple

I have a16 GB Moto G, running LiquidSmooth ROM with 4.4.4 KitKat, and no custom kernels... Every time I try to watch a video on YouTube, Instagram, Vine, etc., the video is displayed green and purple, and distorted. This also happens in the browser, however, when I switch to full screen, the video displays normally... What could be the problem? I can't find anyone else with the same problem, no matter what phone/ROM they are using... This has become extremely annoying as I can't watch videos because of the distortion, please help! Thanks. I have attached a screenshot as an example. (Sorry if this is incorrect section, this is my first time using XDA)

Hmm ... maybe have a look here: [Discussion] Moto G XT1032 - GPE Converted Lollipop by akasaka.
And check 2nd post (Q22) of the [RC-FAQ] >> Frequently Asked Questions for Motorola Moto G [Updated : 2014/02/08] by matmutant.
Wrong file system on the sd card could be the reason for the issue.
And here is the best place to get help for your device: Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting.
Please ask there to get answers and advices from users having the same device like you.

[Completed] No SU binary installed?

Hello,
I am a newbie here, so please be patient. I apologise in advance if I have not posted my question in the correct place.
I have a Moto G 1st gen (XT1032). The bootloader is unlocked with the eventual goal of installing CM13. Previously, I have done this successfully with my old Moto E (1st gen).
No custom recovery is available, although I have flashed TWRP three times via cmd ...in the hope I could bully the Moto G into getting my own way...but no such luck. The error message on the phone reads: "Mismatched partition size (recovery)."
However, via cmd it would appear to have flashed successfully?
SuperSU reads: "There is no su binary installed and supersu cannot install it..."
Obviously, in an ideal world I should be able to load the missing binary files myself but I don't know where to start?
In spite of the problems, the mobile still appears to work fine, so hopefully, it's only a minor glitch that can be easily rectified. What is the best course of action for me to get this phone rooted and CM13 flashed.?
Many thanks for your help in advance.
