Opera Mini 5 Beta 2

Has anyone had any success trying to get this thing to work? I tried but failed miserably lol. I tried installing it using "Java/J2me runner" from the market and everything installed perfectly, except when I tried to launch Opera Mini it failed....

I was a big fan of opera mini on my crackberry (it was a must have) but I've never had good luck with it on Android...

Opera mini 5 beta 2
I also tryed to install opera mini 5 beta 2 with J2me and installation failed.
I am currently using the beta 1 version which works fine in my DSTL 1

If you're using the fresh rom the java app that comes with it can run it. Just download the jad to your sdcard and open with java and it will download the program and install it. I have actually downloaded this beta and it works very well just don't tilt the phone.

I'm not running fresh rom....Could someone post the APK for it?

it's not an apk it's a jar, and i don't like it.. it uses its own on screen keyboard.. dolphin is better for now

Guys, I have downloaded the latest .54 version... But can not install tough I have checked the necessary option related to unknown sources in security...
Do I need root to install this? I'm all stock atm with my GS4...

If u have a adobe installed already delete it reboot and try installing the new one

Nope, nothing related to Adobe is installed...

Then just install. No root needed.

yeah, i tried it... but the problem is there... i can not press the "Install" button... it doesn't work somehow...
I use ES Explorer...
EDIT: My bad guys... sorry to bother, I totally forget that i use "Screen Adjuster" and while it is running it prevents apk's to install... turned it off and now everything is ok...

As far as I know flash doesn't work with stock browser or Chrome I don't know about Maxhton. But in Firefox it workd like a charm to me. If you can't install the flash form your device you can try with the Nexus Root Toolkit it has a "Install APK" option in it's advance menu which might work.

thanks for the reply mate... i sucessfully installed but most probably maxhton also don't let it run... but could not find a proper way to test... tough i want to use stock since we have some fancy things with stock explorer...

You are welcome. You can try with Firefox as I mentioned. I used to prefer dolphin but now using Fox as it gives me a feelings like PC with the flash thing. But it's always your call.

[APP] Notepad++ 6.5.3a for Windows RT

Hello,
I've recompiled Notepad++ for Windows RT. I've labelled it with an 'a' because this isn't the same revision that the Win32 6.5.3 uses (it's a bit later). You will also need to install the Visual C++ 2013 runtime (get vcredist_arm.exe) because this is compiled using VS2013.
I've also bundled the Compare plugin for diffs.

The assumption is that if it is desktop software then yes you need the jailbreak.

A beta version of Nokia Here Maps leaked a few days ago, but it expired on Oct 1.
I removed the expiration date in the source code of the app. (Set it to 12-30-2014)
This version can be installed at any device with android 4.0+ and still receives in-app updates via Nokia.
How to install
1. Download APK
2. Install with APK installer app or adb or ...
3. Sign up with real or fake data
4. Enjoy!
(Additionally, download maps for offline use)
Nokia released an official test version on their website!

I've got the same problem as the other guys, when using Chrome to download. Installed Firefox beta and it downloaded perfectly
Don't know if there's a problem using Chrome on a laptop, but Firefox for Android did the trick for me

Now i can view a map offline..but one thing that bring me a problem when download the map..
i currently change the download storage memory to 'extSdCard' but its still download on my device internal memory..is it a bug?
The wierd thing that when i check my extSdCard memory,nothing on the folder show the download map data..but there is a folder on my internal memory by name 'com.here.app.maps' inside a Android-data folder and inside it there are 2 folder including the 'cache' and 'files' folder but nothing there have a download map data files.

Huawei Files (built in file manager) - removed LAN support in Oreo??

Am I blind or Files can't connect to LAN shares (local computers) any more? This feature was under "Local" menu in EMUI 5 but is missing now in EMUI 8....

You could use Google Drive or Dropbox if you need to sync files.

On my Mate 9 Porsche Design it is the same as on Android 7. No problem connecting to my network share.

The integrated file manager of the Mate 9 definitely lacks this menu item after the phone is updated to Oreo. My second Mate 9 is still running Nougat and shows this feature …

Hmm mine is 10.0.1.304_EU

I managed to install Files (com.huawei.hidisk) from Mate 10, BUT, you need to remove the one in /cust/ so it requires root.
I will see if I can use apktool to change the package name in manifest.xml, this should allow you to install it along with the one in /cust, because it will not install if it finds that one.
On Mate 9 I have 10.0.1.322, Mate 10 has 10.0.1.323
Edit: Apk decompiles fine, recompiling is another story. I dont think this can be done easily xD.

Hi. I checked.
I installed files version 10.0.2.300, 10.0.1.333 and in all of them the network neighboard disappeared so I mange to install files vesrion 8.0.3.308 and see it appears again.
I think the network neighboard not included within the app by vesrion 10.x.x.x and more so you have to install the vesrion 8.x.x.x or 7.x.x.x .

Hi. I used Aptoide market to downgrade from vesrion 10.0.2.333 to 8.0.2.308. (Aptoide has an option to update system app)
when I dowload the app manually it shows app conflict error (in installation) and you can not find any option to remove app update in andoid setting for files.apk so I used Aptoide to downgrade form the mentioned vesrion and It work .
