Hi! I'm formatting my SD Card from my smartphone trough an root app, doing that got my SD Card clusters/MBR (Master Boot Record) damaged, and thinking of connecting it trough the PC makes no sense, it would say "Bad Disk" on "MIniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition" and some others, like "EaseUS Partition Master"!.
I get that solution on WIndows, and doesn't test nothing on Linux, (my main OS is Windows). So, let's go!

I tried the above method it isn't working, I tried diskpart, chkdsk, using command prompt but it won't work.
It rather shows unallocated, bad disk or cyclic redundancy check.
My memory card is 16Gb, it was in an HTC m8 before it had these problems.

Same here mine too a 16gb HTC m8 crc errors all of a sudden
che ami me pasa algo similar pero la tarjeta me aparece como bad disk, y en vez de azul me aparece en negro... y cuando le hago el test surperfice salen todos en rojo... no le aparecen ningun volumen, ni asignado, y la ubicacion esta en si mismo.. y tampoco me aparece en mi pc... no me deja formatearla en ningun medio ni modo, y cuando la pongo en un smartphone me la lee... como memoria externa nmas.. pero no me permite ponerle ningun archivo, como si la memoria misma por dentro no estuviera.. onda.. todo vacio y en blanco.. como una carpeta que no sabe que es una carpeta.. y vacia

If you reboot it from fastboot with a command the bootloader will automatically blocked and you will have a locked bootloader with a twrp

I installed adbdrivers because I was not sure if the tool will do that for me. Drivers are here: http://adbdriver.com/downloads/
I connected the phone (started) and adb showed a green icon so drivers were already there.
I retried again, in fastboot mode and it worked like charm! Great tool!!

I didn't do anything special other than update the current magisk manager to the newest app after it prompted me for an upgrade.
Fortunately I am able to access my files by booting to twrp recovery using adb.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get this working again?
I guess you installed Magisk to the inactive slot?
You can try to change slots but first make a backup of your information and type this on cmd or change slots in twrp
