So I have a cricket Moto G, possible to unlock bootloader? - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I have tried various methods but they all seem to involve using the Motorola website and it just says my device is not eligible. Is there any way?

[Q] CDMA bootloader unlock on Boost Phones?

Just trying to find out if there are others out there that bought the Boost Mobile Moto G if you are able to unlock your bootloader through the Motorola site? If you did this, did you also root it afterwards and what method you used to root. Thanks!
Cheers.

[Q] AIO Wireless Moto G Bootloader Unlock Issues - Resolution?

I'm really liking the Moto G after having picked one up the other day from AIO Wireless.
I was able to use the Ebay link that was posted here to get the SIM lock taken care of and now I'm wanting to get the Bootloader unlocked so I can proceed with Recovery, ROM, etc.
When attempting to use the Motorola site to unlock the Bootloader it says that "Your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking"
My guess is that AIO (AT&T MVNO) has worked with Motorola to prevent the unlocking so as to prevent custom ROMs which would allow for tethering, etc.
Are there any other solutions available? Anyone here using an "AIO" version of the Moto G and able to get this sorted out?
THANK YOU!!
Make sure you copied the key properly

Thanks. The issue is not a proper copying of the key unfortunately. There are other people online posting with the same issue and the same provider.
Hoping that the community can help or that someone on here would have an idea of how to step past this.

You're hosed. Only solution is: Return the device and purchase an unlocked one.

There is actually a dude on YouTube showing how to do with specifically with AIO Wireless. He used a site called fastgsm.com
(Do YouTube search for AIO Wireless Moto G Unlock)
I know I know, this post sounds like an ad for the site but it really isn't. I am interested in trying this but I want confirmation that this site works before I throw any money at it. If you try it let us know your results.
CID values determine whether unlockable
AIo is 0x0010: not unlockable

Rooting the Verizon Prepaid Moto G.

From my research it seems as if this phone can't be rooted because you cannot unlock the bootloader.
Has anyone tried "Poot to Root" on the Verizon Prepaid Moto G? I don't need an Unlocked Bootloader, just Root access.
I rooted my Kyocera Event (with a locked bootloader) in less than a minute using Poot. From what I have read, Poot to Root is made for Qualcomm phones, and the Moto G is Qualcomm.
So, has anyone tried this yet? Does it work?
Right now this is the only working method to unlock the bootloader.
It costs money, and there's no other known way to root the Verizon Moto G

Is my moto g device rootable?

i read i had to unlock the bootloader i used this url and followed the instructions got the code and says its not unlockable is there another way?

Moto G unlocked but asks for unlock pin

So I have a Moto G xt1032 locked to one of the carriers here in Canada. I looked up how to unlock it and ended up motorola's official unlocking page for moto g. I followed the instructions and it sent me an unlock key to my email and tried that and it said unlock complete or something like that.
Now when I turn on the phone every time I see a "Warning Bootloader Unlocked" thing on the screen before startup. But when I put in a sim it asks for unlock pin. And yes I checked the sim is compatible with moto g. They even sell these phones at the carrier stores I am with.
So can it be fixed?
I have lollipop 5.0.2 installed on this phone. And I tried a downgrading to kitkat last night and it ended up wiping all my data but didn't downgrade to kitkat. The only thing I noticed on the tutorial that the tutorial was for unlocked xt1032 phones and at the time the phone was locked. So that might have been the problem.
It sounds like you're talking about 2 different locks. Motorola's method unlocks the bootloader so you can install different ROMs and such. AFAIK it has nothing to do with locking the phone to a particular carrier. I'm not sure how SIM locks work; I think you'll have to contact your carrier about that.
