(The phone has been rooted previously but has been unrooted, TeamWRP is installed)
I rooted my phone a while ago and tried loading a custom ROM. However I definitely installed the wrong ROM as the kernel that came with it would not work, I then installed a custom Kernel to get the phone to a usable condition. This has been fine up until recently when certain apps claim the phone is rooted or crashing unexpectedly and also claiming the phone is a security violation.
I'm trying to restore the phone to the factory Samsung TouchWiz ROM/Google Android Factory ROM with no errors.
I've checked for a couple weeks now and as far as I'm aware I haven't found anything that relates to my problem.
Any help will be deeply appreciated!

If you wish to return to stock then please take a look at this guide here. You should have no problems following the instructions.
Good luck

Attempted flash
UPDATE: I had a backup and was able to restore the phone to working condition however I am back to square one with the original problem
Tried the method you posted and unfortunately it failed and this happened:

[Q] Help to flash Note 2 with stock ROM 4.3

Hello
I decided to try jedi master x2 (the version of my stock ROM was 4.3). After trying it out for a while I noticed poor battery performance and when phone was locked I had to press the menu button several times to see the screen. Yesterday my phone was booting up by itself. It did a couple times then got stuck with the samsung logo. Reboot again and again and the same stuff happened that's when I decided to flash stock rom from samsung.updates/device site using odin3 v3.09 however, I have not been successful. After it checks the md5 OK, it fails on the NAND write. Is it the case that the NAND memory is not unlocked? I am still able to boot into recovery though. I'd appreciate if anybody can land me a hand on how to flash stock rom on my device.
Thanks
** Update to the issue above 1/13/14 8:24 AM
I use ODIN 3.09 to upload the md5 I got from samsung.updates.com I get this:

I am able to boot into recovery mode. I have not tried to upload any other ROM to my sdcard and install it there. The stock ROM I had before was Android version 4.3.
I read this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470262&page=3
then I looked at my device and read the following:
custom binary download: Yes (1 counts)
current binary: custom
system status: custom
knox warranty void: 1 <--- I think that's the problem
As you may know knox is a security feature which helps you to securely separate your personal and professional data. Well, in my case is not helping at all.
Another question: How am I going to remove knox with my phone only able to get into recovery or download mode?

[Q] Pretty Sure I Killed my Phone

I've been running CM on and off on this thing for almost 2 years straight upgrading all along the way (including nightlies as recent at late july this year) well after dealing with some instability issues I figured I'd try to flash my phone back to stock and see if I could get things back fully operational GPS, non-crashing chrome etc.
So I fired up Odin 3.07 and tried flashing a 4.3 ROM to it and it's been down hill from there.
I should have done more research before attempting the restore but tried the method that worked in the past of just getting a copy of stock ROM and flashing it with Odin.
After the initial flash returned a failed result, I tried rebooting the phone and trowing in the towel, but apparently I jacked up my bootloader and now I can't flash my phone at all.
I tried both methods in the next link including re-partitioning with pit files at the bottom of the article and no luck, I also tried "upgrading" with Kies and that fails too.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2586319
I've tied just about every stock version I could find and all that happens is the update fails with an output like whats shown below.
Update1: I've also tried the debricking procedure in this forum with no luck.
Has anyone seen this behavior?
Sorry if this post lacks details.

You updated to a version with a locked bootloader...
JTAG seems to be the only solution at the moment.

I was afraid that was the case.
Thanks for the feedback.

Softbrick Struggle...

EDIT: Random success with Verizon tool No idea what changed...
This is what I was seeing when I tried to use the Odin method of unbricking, it would get ~halfway done and then fail.
Tried again with the PIT file and again failed about 50% of the way through.
4.3
Product Name: SCH-I535
Custom Binary Download: No
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
Qualcomm Secureboot: Enable

I then tried the Verizon Assistant method and it got to 86% then said my device was disconnected unexpectedly and I get this.
Product Name: SCH-I535
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
Qualcomm Secureboot: Enable
Bootloader RP Swrev: 2
Decided to try once more and ended up seeing this in all red letters
sw rev check fail : Fused 2 > Binary 0
I then tried using this method to unbrick http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840030 and Odin fails when I try to push the bootchain.

I'm at a loss here I don't care what I have to update to but I've spent hours trying to solve this mystery any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I can still get to the download screen so I'm not hardbricked.

try OK4. That one seems to be the most bulletproof
Wipe everything in twrp then try to install a stock ROM. If that doesn't work try a different stock ROM

tried a different cable and/or a different computer?
Reactivation lock is a note thing, not galaxy.
I believe. .

Try using twrp 3.0.0. I've had the same problem before. Also use Odin 3.09. I never have a problem when using those two. Make sure you have USB debugging enabled in developers menu. Tap build in device info 7 times to activate developer options. Hope this helps. Also if your on lollipop you can't flash kit kat firmware. Try BOG1 or if you want MM use CPCA.
