Xposed technically isn't an app, only it's installer is. It hasn't been updated to Lollipop because of the AOT (ahead of time) nature of ART (Android Runtime).

So is there another way to install closed modules.

What my previous post meant is that Xposed won't be updated anytime soon.

And now I really start considering the update :good:
EDIT:
IT DOES NOT WORK FOR US CURRENTLY!
It looks like it will take at least another version to work on Samsung ROMs:

It makes bootlop on stock samsung Lollipop roms
I hope it works on our device.

Unfortunately not. I go to Xposed section everyday and hope for an update, but nothing as of yet, but I believe it will be there soon. I am sure rovo is working hard anyway.

Xposed itself does not. The modules can make a difference.
Have there been any developments on making Xposed compatible with Odexed Stock Lollipop ROM?

No, not yet.

Xposed for Lollipop on OnePlus One?

Well, finally got the OTA yesterday...but havent updated yet.
The reason why is I wanted to know how Xposed was on Lollipop on our OnePlus One.
The modules Im intrested in are "App Settings", "Screen Control", "Tinted Status" , and "Call Recorder". Besides that, really nothing else.
Thank you
None??
It works. Don't understand your question there.

Because Xposed is in alpha for Lollipop. Samsung phones dont work at all...
OnePlus =/= Samsung.
It works fine on CM12s. I have not suffered from any reboots or other issues with it.

It is very much up to the maturity of the modules you are using. Simple ones like "Lock Screen clock mods" will work flawlessly, complicated ones like "GravityBox" or "Xprivacy" still have lots of bugs to iron out. Personally I would give it a few days between module installs to check for any issues.
It's pretty much perfect now except for a slight battery drain that I noticed but using greenify properly the drain also not noticeable. As said before there are problems with a few modules but all the simpler modules work flawlessly.

That is interesting. I just installed 5.1.1 on my nexus 7 and rooted it. Then when I installed xposed, it said it could not yet work on 5.1.1 because it could not write to the sdcard.
I went to the xposed website and I believe I read that the developer was still working on "stabilizing" xposed for 5.0 before working on 5.1.1. That's why I was holding off updating my nexus 5 from kitkat to 5.1.1.
Maybe I had the wrong installer. Are you saying xposed framework is working on the nexus 5 with 5.1.1? Which xposed installer did you use? Did xprivacy or gravitybox work?
Thanks.

So, what are you saying? This is an alpha version which would be scary to use for a regular user.
Is it supposed to work in 5.1.1?
(search only helps if you know enough to know what to search for)

Not nice......
And not helpful. Some of us use our devices for more than play.
I'll just remain with kitkat + a working xposed.

Honest feedback: read more, post less. You are worried about the wrong things.
@Anderson2: To give you a less childish response, the available alpha version linked to earlier has been stable for me on a Nexus 5 with stock 5.1.1. I'm only using GravityBox, SwypeTweaks, and Advanced Power Menu, but those have been working fine.
I don't know if this applies to other devices, but with the Nexus 5 there are only certain versions of TWRP recovery that work for installing Xposed. For example, 2.8.6.1 works, 2.8.6.0 doesn't, but there are some earlier versions that do work.

Thank you CSX321. At last a helpful answer. Thanks for the tips. You may have given me some important clues. I'll check to see if my TWRP is 2.8.6.1 or not. I'll also check to see if I have the correct alpha version. I only need xposed for 2 modules: xprivacy and gravitybox.
I'm sticking to kitkat on my nexus 5 until I'm sure I can get xposed working on the n7. So I'm doing my testing on my nexus 7 and boy am I glad I did that!
I appreciate your taking the time to write and help.

Thank you again CSX321. my TWRP was 2.8.6.0, not 2.8.6.1. I checked and it is the latest available version for flo (nexus 7 2013 wifi). That's why xposed would no install. I'll just have to wait some more.
I asked in this forum because I couldn't find an appropriate thread in the nexus 7 2013 forum. Now I know why.
Thanks for the help.
OK. I had the wrong xposed zip.
For others who also had trouble, on the nexus 7 2013:
TWRP 2.8.6.0 is not the problem. It works. I had the wrong xposed file.
*The one that worked is xposed-sdk22-arm-20150609.zip

If wanam, the guy that works on unofficial Xposed for Samsung 5.1.1 devices says that it has to be deodexed to work, then that's the case. So there's no way you're successfully running Xposed on an odexed ROM, nice try.

Xposed framework is not available to all N based ROMs. As far as we know it's being worked on.
I saw a guy handled to install it on a OPO with Android 7, I didn't try and I won't, but if you want, check this out: http://www.dexteroid.com/how-to/install-xposed-framework-on-android-nougat-7/

Autocorrect ? recently switched to Gboard and still has to learn my words.
I'm not a fan of magisk, always have been a SuperSU user and now that I have Lineage, privacy guard is just fine ?
Back in marshmallow days I used Xposed for the YouTube background module, lucky patcher and YouTube adaway.
Added multiple hosts to adaway but still get Ads and the custom patch on lucky doesnt work anymore for the background play.
