Problems i noticed on Lolipop 5.0.2 Nightly Rom - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The video recording in 4k does't work i tryed on cyanogen camera and google camera to , but this feature does't work on bouth cameras but work's just fine on 1080p.
Any of you guys having the same problem ?
How i instal the screen recorder that was preinstaled on cm11 ?

Mate, I know you're new but you really should search. This is an apps & themes forum, so your post is incorrectly placed. Secondly, if you go into the "Development" forum, you'll see lots of info about Official nightlys and bugs, plus un-official ROMs based on Lollipop 5.x. :good:

The things not working with custom rom

I am using CM 6.1.3 including Hotfix V061 ROM, everything is working great but still i would like to mention here the few issues i am facing :
1) Camera (in-built or vignette) does not take picture at the hard-ware full capacity which is 8.1 megapixel.
2) Video recording does not work properly. HD video is not yet supported.
3) No support for some of the Asian languages like Hindi, Urdu etc. (Original stock rom was supporting these languages).
4) Wifi / USB tethering not working.
5) No Mediascape (though many people do not need this).
I hope these issues will be over soon...
have you checked for some updates or newer versions? what phone is this for? did you do a full wipe before installing the rom?

I already tried Hotfix V061 which is the newest update released on 22nd april meant to fix the camera. See here.
But both the camera and video recorder does not work properly even i have purchased vignette but still there seems to be several issue.
And sorry i didn't mention that my phone is Xperia X10i (i thought i am posting under xperia x10 sub-forum) and currently i am having the wolfbreak's latest custom ROM CM 6.1.3 in it.

[Q] [DEV] Cyanogen & MIU Mod For (Motorola Glam XT800W

Hello guys! I'm a newbie here... I'm so interested in porting custom roms especially the Cyanogenmod & MIUI! It's really great when it comes to UI, performance and speed! I'm just using an old phone Motoglam XT800W Froyo 2.2 stock rom ported to to CM9. Everything went fine except for the gallery (It keeps on loading that's why I changed my gallery to quickpic) and the video camera is acting strange. Sometimes it records but sometimes not (that's why I installed MIUI cam and it went well). My question is, are there still available CM/MIUI Mod roms sites even if it's unofficial, that still updating/developing until now especially here? I found one but I don't know how to download it, can't find the link. Your help is trully appreciated! Tnx so much!^^

[Q] [REQ] 1080p 60FPS TW camera app?

Hey all,
I recently flashed over to Imperium ROM. It's extremely stable and light on the battery, which I'm loving.
I did however, briefly, flash another ROM. Baked into this was a TW camera that allowed for 1080p @ 60fps, presumably a port from another Samsung device (I assumed note 3 or s5 but not sure).
I cannot for the life of me remember which rom this was and recently have gone through a bunch of other camera APK files trying to find the right one and unfortunately I cant. What I'm essentially trying to do is find which ROM it was in and build it into the Imperium I'm running just now. I've currently got it on a Note 4 camera, but the front camera doesn't work on it which is a bit of a nightmare. It also doesn't feature 1080p60 which I would like.
Anyone got any ideas? I've searched and can't find anything and rather than flash rom after rom to find out I thought someone may know. The rom is lollipop as was the one I'm referring to with the 1080p60 cam app.
Thanks guys
Pete

Cyanogenmod 12.1 and Galaxy i9100 (intl)

Hi everyone,
New in town and wanted to ask some questions .
I'm thinking of updating my i9100 with the latest snapshot (stable as it goes) of cm 12.1 from the cyanogenmod guys.
1. Is there anyone that can guide me through any known issues/bugs related to this version of cm and this specific device?
2. Secondly, i looked through the internet and most people say that the only negative about this rom is the camera app (google camera i presume...). They say that the quality of the pictures is far less than the samsung stock camera. Is this true? And if yes, is there not a possibility to install another camera app (point me to one if you please) in the cm rom instead of using the cm google camera? Or maybe you could point me to the exact stock samsung camera app of 4.1.2 that i currently own and install it after the update...?
Thanks in advance. Looking forward for your answers.

1. for questions like this, it is best to post in your device specific q&a forum. everyone there will have your device, so questions will usually be answered more quickly. look at the top of the page, there is a device search box to help you find your device forum.
2. yes the google cam is not as good as stock, but its not horrible either. i use it all the time on my nexus.
there are many camera apps on the play store, and someone in your forum may have a better idea of what ones work best with your device, but no, you cant put the stock cam on cm, it wont work. this a a fairly common downside of custom roms, certain stock things or apps (varies by device) just arent possible to merge into the custom software at this time, and may never be.
Thank you very much for your help. You're quite right about the device "specific" forum.
I will immediately give it a try there.
Thanks again mate.

which custom rom is best and stable to S Duos 2 ? please say rom name and reason....

please say rom name and reason

I also have CM 12.1 running on my phone.
Screenshots: Coming Soon, will be posted on next reply
The drawbacks is that it has no FM radio app, and is quite slow when clocked at safe (default) frequencies of processor

Drawbacks is OTA Not working
Use stock rom otherwise every stock rom is infected with issues, use cm14.1 otherwise, it got android 7.1 and have lots of features.... By no name (you can search for it on xda), I'm using it too only problem is screen recording
[ROM][7.1.1_r13][N6F26Q]AOSP 7.1.1 for Galaxy S Duos 2/ Trend Plus S7580/S7582
Best ROM here.. Android Nougat
Bloat free
Great battery life
Completely stable
Daily Driver worthy
My best experience was with Milktea. I am not using it right now but the link to the thread is here https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7582/development/rom-milktea-rom-samsung-galaxy-s-duos-2-t3146849
CM 11 [LineageOS 11]
If you dont want to flash rom's again and again go with cm 11 latest buil from jenkins server. coz every ROM has Some bugs. but cm11 is far better than any other ROM.
and this qstn is not allowed in XDA forum try ROM's by yourself and share your experience in respected forums. ^-^
It's said that if you wanted the experience of the row form of android then use cyanogenmod roms, and that cm12.1 is the best of them..
It's also said that if you wanted alot of themes and good looking rom then use something like miui, our phone doesn't have but miui 7 (based on cm11 rom) and that's the rom i prefere the most..
but sadly there's few bugs on this rom:
1-broken video playback, and that's what bothers me, you cant play videos with any app including the youtube app, but there's some apps.that could play videos in this rom like uc browser, use it to watch youtube or any online video, and vlc for any local video. note that mx player doesnt work and mi video, and videos on facebook app.. :/
2-only one sim works.. and i've no problem with that because i only have one sim -.-
3- in home screen there row you cant touch.. (i'll put a picture of it in the attachment).. so yo fix it, close two fingers together to adjust your homepage, you'll see (move app) option press it and move the apps to someehere else in the homepage, the row above it is ok
.. and that's it
i know that this rom needs work to fix those bugs but still, this the best rom you can find.
screenshots coming later !
All ROM
@hakeem2905
Again , almost rom for s dous 2 is best and stable enough for you to use as daily driver
[ROM][UNSTABLE][4.4.4][CM11]GT S7580 and GT S7582
-Stable
-Fast
-Many themes
-Many customizations
After a while I get seasick and I try another.... When something goes wrong I go back to her!
[ROM][7.1.1_r13][N6F26Q]AOSP 7.1.1 for Galaxy S Duos 2/ Trend Plus S7580/S7582
My current ROM. I'm really enjoying it
Stable
Fast
I had problems with calendar and the wifi (turns off seconds after the screen goes out)
The best rom you can find for duos 2 is resurrection remix. It is amazing and has a lot of tweak's and features. It has almost no bugs and is fast. I have been using it for the past 1 year without any problems. Only the screen recorder is not working. But that is not much of a problem. The android version is 6.0.1 marshmallow. It has a lot of customization which is really fun. So u can give it a try. I will post ss later.
every custom rom is best.. but it depends on user..
some want themes.. some want battery.. some want performance.. some daily driver.. some all of these
best rom is less buggy.. uses ur heavily used apps lag free.. idle battery life 5 hrs.. etc.. etc..
my opinion use stock.. root it.. remove bloatware.. tweak it..
The Lollipop Extreme ROM is the most stable ROM you will ever find for Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2
It is the best in terms of performance and space it needs but it is average looks
