Nightly CM12 for Asus tf300t
I am not able to use wifi channel 13 with CM12. It was working fine with CM11.
Tried to change build.prop but no go.
Anyone??

Just verified this on ME301T and no luck.
Install was fine, at reboot it starts compiling all apps
Lock-screen appears and a pointer (circle? for docked with trackpad?)
Sudden reboot
Lock-screen etc

I don't know why but i think this ROM is slower then the Katsiss ROM.
Have you'v got any idea?

i would like to try the F2FS support, but i dont know how to format ?

Dear XDA friends I request help , I upgraded my TF300 from CM11 to CM12 , now the tablet is reading UNROOTED none of my rooted apps work. I ran root checker and it comes back with this device is not rooted, I also ran busybox and busybox app says the device is not rooted. Can anyone help me fix this issue. Thank you.

Is dock battery and its buttons are working with latest nightly?
And anyone knows if there is possibility to have separate tabs for notifications and toggles on both sides of screen like on kitkat?

Normally SU is added by default but not enabled by default.
1. Goto Settings=>info
2. Make yourself developer by tapping 7 times on build info
3. Goto Dev options => root access to apps and system.
4. reboot
If that won't work you have to zipflash superSU in recovery: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu

Try KatKiss, much better and all Asus features work:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-tf300t/development/rom-t2932783

What about themes? Coz i dont like stock one.
And it could be even better as i will stay, with katkiss dualboot kernel for 5.0

If your data partition is all that you have formatted as F2FS, then all you need is an F2FS compatible kernel (katkernel or grimlock) and you should be able to run any ROM.

TF300t CM 12.1 Wifi Issues
I'm still experiencing WIFI issues on both nightlies for CM 12.1 . I'm also experiencing print spooler errors anytime i try to print. I upgraded from CM 12 -> CM 12.1 -> CM 12.1 using TWRP recovery 2.8.6. I have also needed to reinstall the GAPPS 5.1 each time installed 12.1 (including going from 12.1 -> 12.1). Other than that it seems to be working pretty well. Please let me know if i can submit any logs to help fix some of these bugs.

Is dock fully functional?
what about battery status?

Hope they can develop until a stable release

[q] tf300tg cm11 why no 3g and wifi??

Hello folks,
why there is no working CyanogenMod 10.2 or 11 version available to get the 3G and the WIFI working?
I´m interessted in the problems why they are not working...
I read at another forum, that the developers have no access to the kernel source code, what about at the kernel sources at the ASUS support site?
(Can´t post a link, because I´m a new forum user....)
Thanks for your replies and have a nice day
Greetings

Because the developers don't have a TF300TG and so can't test on that device.
Have a look a the CM 11 thread, I just posted a fix for WiFi.
That was easy, but for radio to work, you'll have to find and motivate a developer with access to a TF300TG.

I think that is nonsense; as you say, the kernel code is easy to find.
The problem is no physical access to a TF300TG device for testing.
Or possibly time or rather missing motivation to find the time. Mind, making something like radio work takes a lot of time.
The way I see it is the Asus Kernel has particular modules for the 3G and Wifi. On a stock based rom like CROMi-X or GrimLock this is easy to port as the kernel stays the same and you just implant the correct modules and xml files into the rom. However on CM10/11 etc you are talking about a completely different kernel that is not designed for your hardware. What needs to happen is someone needs to port the Asus Kernel (which remember is two versions behind the linux kernel used for CM11) to work with CM11.
I have a working Asus kernel but performance on CM11 is poor so I haven't done much with it. The best chance is if Asus give us an update which is unlikely to happen.

Well, I don't think it would be too hard. WiFi is the same and should work on TF300TG with CM 11 now or in one of the upcoming nightlies (patch merged yesterday).
But I think for making radio work, you need physical access to a TF300TG. Looks like none of the experienced CM developers owns one, and so radio does not work... Unless a developer who owns a TF300TG steps up and invests the time to make it work.
Or is my view too simplistic?

There are extra modules and Init scripts for radios in the kernel for the 3G RIL and radio setup. Asus has these in their source for the specific hardware. The ROM also needs to know about this hardware so it has additional xml files that load the correct profiles. Someone needs to merge them into the CM source if you have a shot.

Sure, lots of little details that need a lot of trial and error. Unlike WiFi, too much trial and error for posting an image and asking someone to try it out.
Well, we are not talking about me, I am really busy at porting Ubuntu Touch to my TF300T. I think the original question was, why is it not working? I think the reason is a lack of developers owning a TF300TG with physical access for quick trial and error. Seems you disagree?

CM 11 should work out-of-the-box, as they have merged my patch to wifimacwriter.
I'll post it to OmniROM too. If they accept it, you will no longer need to push my replacement.

For the kitkat (4.4) ROMs you need to use scanno's 2.6.3.1+. Check the OmniROM thread for a download link. Unfortunately none of the "official" downloads work for kitkat ROMs.

I don't add custom kernels to the build. I guess I could but I feel the user can add whatever they want afterwards instead of having one built in. I am not the best person to ask for building a kernel as I don't do that kind of thing. I just like building the roms and testing them.

Calling out gives blank screen
Hey - new to the forum here, and I know this rom is discontinued for the ville, but perhaps someone can point me in the right direction;
When I want to place a call, the screen goes blank. The call itself is being made, but I cannot get the screen to work again. Even after the call disconnects. Only way, is to lock screen with power button (still blank) and press power button again to go to unlock screen.
This problem is also for incoming calls only after picking up the phone.
This is what I did to the phone so far:
- Unlock bootloader via HTC site
- Root phone
- Install TWRP
- Flash PACROM , PA GApps, Update-SuperSU, flash boot.img in fastboot
My setup:
HTC One S S4
HBOOT 2.15
Radio: 1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L
Kernel: 3.4.82
ROM: pac_ville 4.4.4 20141231
S-ON
TWRP: 2.8.6.4
SuperSU 2.46
I have looked around in the threads here but seems no-one else is having this problem.
Can you try to use a different gapps. Pa adds info to there gapps. Use the gapps from the op.
Actally it was the proximity sensor that was giving issues, I used a calibration app to set it manually and since have been using Pacman happily. God it would be great to see a LP PACMAN for the Ville

It won't be me making the build. If anyone else wants to that would be great.

Yeah I read you no longer have a working Ville. I really do like the ROM and maybe one day someone can make a LP build. There is one for the HTC One (m7 & m8). Don't know how much work it would entail to adapt that to Ville.

dirty flash over previous and playstore app can't connect to server.
Same issue with camera-mod here here. But not even a reboot helped. Can't start the camera app anymore.
I started stock-camera and switched between front and back - no problems. But the camera-mod keeps telling me that it was stopped, every time I try to start it.

hey, just wanna say your link for OPO team nocturnal rom is dead
Awesome Work!
Hats off to Team Nocturnal for an an amazing piece of work. Can't thank you enough
Everything seems to be working flawlessly on built VM12.1 - 20150410 (radio, BT, GPS, sensors, etc) and I'm already into one week of flashing this rom. No lags or FCs whatsoever. I must admit, since first introduced to custom rom flashing, I've become
somewhat a flash junkie. Sometimes, switching roms on daily basis but this rom has given me no excuse.
Just one question though. Is, 6xxmb ram usage (with only basic system apps running) considered as memory leak?
I understand it's a common issue when running Lollipop.
Thanks again guys. Looking forward to future updates. (This is already perfect but I can't help it -Never Settle!)
Missing Appops
Hi. Thanks for the ROM. Are loving it, and at very impressed. I am missing Appops though. Hand I not done something? I flashed clean, then Gaps, then SU. Using the 15th April build.
Modem
Hi,
I had an issue of not receiving texts/sms/phone calls ON wifi.
I had this issue with Temasek's build and then switched to Nocturnals and the ROM still had this issue. I ended up going over to Blisspop's thread and using a modem alpha build they listed and this fixed the issue. Just FYI because I never had a funky issue with modem's or not receiving text/phone calls on wifi. Everyone else worked fine while off of wifi.
Other than that, I've played around with the ROM and it truly is a great experience with smoothness, now I'll be checking out that battery life!
Thanks team.

Need some help. I have installed this kernel on CM 12.1 Rohan's build and got bootloop... Some info: I used Philz Touch 6 Fota and wiped cache and dalvic after flash. I recovered from soft brick through but what should I do to avoid bootloop?

Good day. First off, i wanted to say that i've tried this kernel and the d2w is very helpful for preserving the hw power button and i think this kernel is very useful.
The thing is, since their latest releases, i've found that Glade Rom and SlimLP have been the roms that are best for me in terms of what i need and my daily usage. Unfortunately, this kernel doesn't work for either of them. I'm guessing it's because of their base?
Anyway, i'd like to ask if the dev has any plans to get this kernel working for either of those roms or for aosp 5.1.1 roms in general? If yes, that would be awesome. If not, then i still say this kernel's features are still very helpful and i'll be waiting to get a cm-based rom that works for my needs. ?

both these roms are aosp based and have RRO supported as opposed to cm theme engine. could that have any bearing on it? let me know how i can help.
Problem on my HTC One (M7)
Hello,
first of all I would like to apologize for my English problems. I installed your Kernel on my HTC ONE M7. It is running on Cyanogenmod 12.1 (Android 5.1.1). The problem is that my handy freezes everytime it tries to boot. It freezes on the HTC logo to be more specific. Please let me know if you need to know more details or need even a log and I hope this issue gets solved.
Thank you

LOL No, this kernel is not meant for HTC One.
This kernel is only for Sony Xperia L. Please read the full post before trying anything.
Now how to recover? If you are able to go in recovery, flash CM12 or any custom ROM.
Master Solution is flashing stock as always, although I dont know how things are done for HTC [emoji14]
@corphish i kniw i shouldn't but.. If it's possible, may i ask that you add the Intelliactive scheduler if you can? Lulzactive and on demand doesn't really work for me (lulzactive seemed buggy last time i tried it - main core stayed on max freq). Just a request. ?
Wifi stopped working after I flashed this kernel. Previously I was on Tz 4.16. Any ideas what I can do fix this, other than going back to Tz?

Well, you cannot go back to TZ now. It flashes kernel in boot-device linked partition, which is a mystery partition about which only Varun knows.
I haven't succeeded in your situation.

Right, learned that the hard way
Is this a known issue though, or something that you or others have previously faced, that changing from Tz to Zapdos will break wifi? Just curious.
Hey man, I use Primexperia rom, it's CM12 based, soon to be posted new ver CM12.1 based. For some reasons it's not compatible with TZ 4.16, 4.14 only (wi fi missing on 4.16) Will this kernel work for me? The only thing I really need is a stable system with Sony sound
Oh almost forgot, I use TWRP and I think that any other recovery is a waste of time, to be honest. Can I use TWRP?

Stryflex LP 1.5 Rom
Hi,
I am using Stryflex LP 1.5 Rom.
When used the its kernel, phone freezes randomly & hangs & not responds.
We have to take out battery & restart phone.
Most of the times even if i take out from pocket also it is in DeadState(even if pressed power button alos nothing works.)
So i installed Thunderzap 4.16 ,it is not freezing but Wifi is not working.
Then i shifted to your kernel, thank god it is not at all freezing while operating .
But i noticed that it is going to black screen/Dead State very frequently.
Waiting for any suggestions & help.
I appreciate your help & time.
Could we get 1.7~ OC like in TZ kernel? It was fully stable for me even with thermal throttling disabled.
Maybe it's noob but would the wake up signatures Hurt the touchscreen some how.
I mean it well make it work for 24 hour????
Tz 4.16 with cm 12 work properly and Wi-Fi is goog and with application tenderzap control you can Cheng setting so good and you can change control charge to 2100 ma for faster charging so download tanderzap control.apk

All worked perfect for me after clean install
Camera/flashlight sometimes works sometimes doesn't...regardless of the way you flashed. It has been fixed in the new build but that's not available yet

You are absolutely right @Rapier, my camera just suddenly stopped working

Thanks for the ROM, i'll try it soon.
I have a question : I have an issue with my internal storage and my SD with all AOSP's Roms that I've tried.
Does this Rom also has this issue ?
Or is there a way to fix it ?
Thanks!

If you don't say what the issue is, it is unlikely we could answer your question.
For me, there's no issue with sdcard not in this ROM nor in any other that I've tried

Any chance you flashed a wrong zip? Updated to hboot 2.16 did you? Tried to format those partitions?
Is the recovery you ve installed up to date?
So many mistakes possible, think i made them all at least once...

Hi all!
I saw that some people are complaining about lags in the last builds. Can you confirm this or are there also good experiences about this rom?

I tryed the hboot 2.15 version and I only encounterd some lag during the first configuration of all settings. After that everything went quite liquid.
I'm running this ROM on my HTC One S.
But now the Display had crashed and I can't access the navigation buttons on the bottom :
So I wanted to transfer the data using Wondershare MobileTrans directly to another phone ... But the phone is not recognized in the MobileTrans?
On Stock ROM 4.4.4 it worked...
