[Q] Help for Assignment on OnePlus One ! - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello !
I need help for my assignment, we were asked to choose a mobile computer to study on. And we chose the ever so great OnePlus One.
What I'm asking here is just a little help to get details on the OnePlus One specifically of the following:
i) General Architecture
ii) Instruction Set and Registers
iii) Memory architecture/model
iv) Implementation issues (pipeline, coprocessors, interoperability,… etc)
v) I/O specifications (Communications, Expansions buses/cards,… etc)
It's been awhile since I've visted xda developers, but I believe you guys could help me to get information on these criterias.
If there's anything that you want to PM me, feel free to do so.
Thank You.

looking for a SMARTPHONE

Hi there,
I need to make an application for a smart device. This application should be able to access the GPS (the device must have GPS) on the COM ports and collect data so that I can calculate the distance when the device is moving. Other requests are that the device should run Windows Mobile and have UMTS capability. I will be using . NET platform for writing the application, so if someone has done this before or something similar and can help me with anything from advices to code snippets or even the application itself, I will be forever thankful .
The big question I have in the beginning is what device suits best this description. I want to use the classic ASUS 636n but it has no UMTS capability.
thanks to admins for this great forum , see ya

[Q] Question industrialization devices Android

Hi there,
Good news for me and for the android community, my company decided to replace all blackberry devices by android devices (Normally by 3 model Samsung.)
Of course, this must be done quickly.
We have around 1000 devices to replace.
My question is : How can we create a "master" to industrialize the process ?
One device needs a lot of "tuning". Like applications of course, launch bar shortcut, desktop to personnalise... I guess one device need at least 45 minutes to be ready for the user. This is not really good
We have BES10 has a MDM. But as you know, BES10 can't totally manage Android devices.
Is there a way to clone a device ? With all applications and custom settings ?
Many thanks.
NB : I hope the general section will be the good one.
No way to do that ?
up ? maybe a magical application to do that ?

[Completed] Note 3 Remote Desktop "Mouse Mode"

I understand that this forum is to direct me to a relevant thread or topic to post under. Would appreciate guidance for where to post the following question...
I am looking for a remote desktop solution, like LogMeIn or TeamViewer that doesn't require me to do any detailed configuration.
The problem is that LogMeIn, for example, won't treat my Note 3 phone as a tablet, so I can't use the mouse like a normal mouse. (The settings for mouse are "move mouse" and "move screen", but there is no direct mode available for phones to use a mouse like a regular mouse.)
My device is an Android 4.4 KitKat Samsung Note 3 phone (unfortunately rooting is not an option for me), and I am using it with the Note 2 dock with an external monitor and wireless usb keyboard/mouse. Everything works great except I can't find a good remote desktop solution that will allow me to work "normally" in terms of the mouse.
I also have Win 8 Home version and do not want to configure port forwarding and a fixed ip to solve rotating external IP address assignments. (Please excuse me if I didn't say that correctly, but I really don't want to deal with those kinds of complexities.) Yes, I realize that I may have too many constraints - no configuration challenges (which I think rules out VNC or standard RDP), and also no rooting of the phone. But I am willing to pay a small monthly subscription, e.g. I looked at PocketCloud with $5/month, but that doesn't seem to support my requirement either from a quick look at the manual.
Is there anyone who can suggest a good solution for my situation?
Hi,
The info that you provided is great, however the Note 3 is divided up on XDA by carrier, so:
If you will type Note 3 in the box above (type to find your device) , select your carrier version, go to that forum's Q & A to post your question, you should be good to go !!
Regards.

Thanks! XDA Assist is a great idea. First time I've ever seen that in a forum.
And I really like your tag line...
To the world you are someone. To someone you are the world.

[Completed] Push wifi configuration file to unknown android devices.

Hi All,
I'm having a little trouble finding out how to do this.
Let me first explain what i want todo :
anyone visiting home just needs to go to a website and recieve a wifi config in order to connect to the visitors-wifi.
Setup an domain > does mobile device detection > based on that will either try to push a Iphone .mobileconfig or and android config file.
domain is ready , mobile detection somewhat ready , iphone config confirmed working.
I read something of Microsoft Intune capable of pushing xml config to android devices joined to the network.
I just want a file they can download & requests then if they want to install it , like on Iphone.
Thanks for reading!
Kind regards,

Zero Touch on the Senter Tablet

Hello Everyone on XDA,
I have a new tablet from the Senter manufacturer with Android 9 installed.
The device has a problem with the correct use of the Zero Touch function.
I’m looking for a person (preferably from Poland) who has explored the Zero Touch functionality and able to prepare a custom image for such a device.
If someone are interested in cooperation, please contact me on priv.
Thank you and regards,
May be this article helps.
What Is Zero Touch Configuration?
Zero-touch configuration is the process of configuring IoT devices and pushing updates out to the network from a central location. Zero-touch configuration enables IT teams to configure, or modify, hundreds or even thousands of devices remotely.
