I am having problem flashing roms my Micromax a68.
The phone is rooted with Kingroot and have Kinguser and busybox installed.
I have installed the Lewa recovery image too.
For flashing the rom, I copied the rom "Cyanbook v0.4" to the sd card in my phone, switched on the phone in recovery mode, cleared out the factory, dalvik cache and caches and then installed the rom.
The rom gets fully installed and a notification on the screen says "Reboot to enjoy Cyanbook". Then I'm rebooting.
The phone starts with the welcome graphics, then after a while, the menu, home and back buttons under the screen lights up and the phone gives a slight vibration.
Now everything till this is as per the protocol as after the vibration, the screen enters the OS.
But the thing here is, even after the vibration, the screen is stuck at the welcome graphics and is not going into the OS.
I tried a different version of the rom and that also gave similar problem.
Now..after this, i tried to reboot the phone, the phone reboots as per norms automatically with the previous OS which was there before i installed the rom.
It would be great if you could give the solution step by step as i am not an expert or anything
N.B- 1. These roms worked perfectly before, but recently i had a brick and had to give the phone to an engineer who used a box to install a stock rom in the phone.
2. I dont think its a regular still boot screen problem, as in those times the phone buttons dint light up, neither was there the vibration.
Hi,
As far as I see, the rom you are flashing was not made for your exact device model number. And so you know, Flashing anything not made for your exact device make and model number is a good way to brick your device. Which you may have done now unfortunately.
You need to only use software made for your device, no other.
Here us a great resource thread for your device and has stock rom information. Try to flash your stock firmware and perhaps you will be fine. If you need any further help with this or anything else, I'd ask in this thread as well,
> General discussion > Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking > Micromax A68 (Android 4.0.4)
If you can't find help there, try flashing a rom made for your specific device, or ask for help here,

Last week I rooted Lenovo S660P using the Kingo root application, the process was successfully completed and the device indicated, "Do you want to make SuperSu a superuser?" to which I answered yes to all.
My problem started when I was prompted to restart the device by ROM manager I had installed, the device went off but instead of rebooting, it gave me a white screen (Bootloop). This has been the case since then.
I had not activated debugging mode, also MTK Droid Tools application does not detect it. Since then I have tried to install another ROM, a custom ROM because I do not have access to the Stock ROM without success. I am asked to provide the scatter file by Smart Flash Tool, yet I don't have one nor am I able to create one because MTK Droid Tool does not detect the device.
The custom ROM that does not end in scatter error (Invalid OTA, no scatter file detected, application aborted) ends with the message, "Application aborted"
If you have the original scatter file for my device I will also appreciate.
I had created a backup but the SD crashed with it, hence, I have no access to any backup.
I will appreciate you assistance in restoring my phone.
Hi,
You likely need to flash the stock firmware again. Also, rom manager causes many issues for people, I would not use it personally.
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device. You might have better luck searching for your firmware on google, or contacting the manufacturer about firmware and flashing instructions.
You can ask for help here too if you wish,

HI guys good day~!
well, i am newbie in this forum and about android devices. I am curious about android things, due to my curiosity, i have successfully rooted my Lenovo a316i running Jelly Bean OS and then installed some rooted apps without any back up. Then lastly, I installed that ChainFire 3D without any phone back up since i don't have some knowledge yet about backing up my phone. So the ChainFire app was successfully installed then my phone restarted without back up apps installed. Now, my phone is stacked in the boot...
Is there any way i can recover my phone?..
PS.
my phone has 3 recovery modes(Default Recovery) ;
FastBoot Mode (i dont know how to use it), Recovery Mode, Normal Boot.. maybe this could help.
I also tried the Recovery Mode then use the method "Apply update from ADB" and tried sideloading the default ROM of my phone but after 100% sideloading, my phone would say " Installation Aborted "... i guess i'm doing the wrong way in flashing my STOCK ROM using that method.. Also my USB Debugging MODE is off...
i really need your help..... Thanks in ADVANCE!..

I recently installed custom rom on my phone then i downloaded twrp recovery manager or maybe it was rom installer in my android . Through one of those apps i installed custom boot screen then I decided to change it after few reboots because it was taking longer then the default boot screen so i deleted thought it would go back to default boot screen automatically so to check i restarted my device and phone got stuck at start up screen. I was trying to get my recovery back which wasnt working so i could install custom rom now the phone is stuck at start up and recovery doesnt work already what should i do to fix this epic problem i really dont want to lose my phone over custom roms lol ? Help would be much appreciated .

Hi!
I own a Prestigio 3400 and I believe I'm in need of an android 4.2.2. ROM (if I correctly understood how that whole system works).
I rooted my phone and everything was working perfectly until I decided to reboot it. Now, the phone got stuck at the booting screen (after the manufacturer logo everything turns like dark blue and stops dead in its tracks). I can access the recovery options, but nothing seems to work; tried everything, from cleaning the cache to completely wiping the system. I figured that a new OS should do the trick so I've tried to find the original firmware (long shot or a completely wrong move?) but that doesn't seem to be a thing. Also, I couldn't find any kind of ROM that would suit my phone and from what I understood (and admittedly, that's not so much) only certain ROMs go to certain phones.
Since my phone is now but a worthless brick and hours and hours of googling only left me in tears, I would greatly appreciate any kind of help or guidance.
I didn't, because I can't find it.
All of the links on the prestigio site are actually updates. The link to v.1.0.16 is the 1.0.13 to 1.0.16 update, not the firmware itself. I tried all of them though (better safe than sorry), but nothing seems to be working.
I think I found a 1.0.11 firmware but it requires the phone to be connected to the pc and seeing I can't make my pc to acknowledge the phone, that's not doing much for me. A kitkat version [for which is said that could be applied to my phone] isn't working either (installation just aborts).

Please help, i have been everywhere on the net and tried every possible method presented. adb, side load, factory reset, wipe/cache. nothing works. rooted my phone, later unrooted because i was gonna take it to be fixed because softkeys stopped workin, but downloaded button savior instead. then eventually wanted mt phone root again. forgot to adb "reboot disemmcwp" first. long story short, bricked phone, stuck at zte logo. i can enter the recovery mode. but it will not allow me to update from sd card for some reason. my usb debugging is not turned on. and most importantly I cannot for the life of me find stock rom or any other rom for this damn phone. as mentioned, i already did factory reset and wiped my data but it did not solve issue. i read in another forum that disabling certain apps could cause a soft brick after doing a factory reset, i did have some apps disabled. so dont know if that is the cause. I know how to flash firmware, roms, and recoveries. But i cannot find a custom rom, or a custom recovery for the ZTE Prestige N9132......so can someone please give me a copy of the stock firmware, or kindly direct me as to where i can download it???? I have scoured the internet for literally 4 days now and cannot find any firmware for this model phone at all......PLEASE HELP!!
I would be satisfied if i could even get a custom rom or recovery, if not the stock firmware would be fine. just please show me where i can download it from
Hi !
Unfortunately there is no dedicated forum for your specific device that more users can gather and discuss
We don`t have a firmware section here on XDA , if you want to request it you may do it here https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help though I see that you have already done it here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71152939&postcount=5
So let`s wait for users with a similar device to reply
Good luck
