Dear all,
I need your help. Well, I plugged my phone Galaxy S2 to a charger which the voltage polarity was reversed manually.
So the phone had a short circuit. Therefore, I replaced the power card which is in the Galaxy and when I plugged it again on the other charger, I found that the phone doesn't start and one component on the mother board of the phone is heating a lot. the component is located just below to the cam.
If any one can help me to have the schematic drawing with also the layout drawing to find what kind of the component is that, so I can buy it.
Other wise, if someone can help me what can I do.
If you need more information I can give you.
The goal is to have my datas while I didn't save them to my pc exceptionally all my contacts.
With best Regards,
Hi,
Sounds like you fried something... And if it won't turn on, I can safely say there is nothing you can do.
For other ideas or to ask about schematics.... A google search may help, or if you let me know your device model number, I can point you to your device section.
Thanks!
The device model is GT-i9100. I didn't find neither the schematic nor the layout drawing on google search!!!
Thank you for helping me.
Best Regars,

There was nothing in the box to insert in the slots and pressing on the hole and surrounding areas for varying periods doesn't do amythinpg and I cannot see any way of telling whether the device is charged or charging. No support is available in Canada. Only advice I get from computer shops is to throw it away. This appeal for help
Is probably too nooobie to get an answer but I thought I would try before destroying what in other respects seems a good device

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
I suppose you have contacted the seller with this issue, and they have been less than helpful. It could be that the battery is dead on it (or worse in this situation, not present) so try leaving it plugged in for some time before attempting to make contact again.
In the mean time, please register for an account so you can post in other forums. The Cube Talk 9x/U65GT Equipped with MTK8392, the 8-core Chipset Devoted to Tablet PCs thread (in the > Android Development and Hacking > Android General > forum) seems to be where your device experts can be found.
If no luck there, you can also try the [Ask Any Question][Newbie Friendly] thread (> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting).
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Hello,
Recently I bought a tablet Cello T1144 v2 through ebay and it does not work properly. I can not connect to a wireless network. I try to turn the wireless settings on and see how the slide moves to "ON" and immediately turns "OFF". Also its sometimes reboots randomly. Before I decide that this is hardware issue, I want to reinstall Android, but I cant find ROM for this tablet.
I tried to contact Cello support and asked, but no luck -- they only said that I can send them tablet and they will reinstall it for charge. But it is very non economical for me. Maybe somebody had this tablet or can provide some useful links where I can find ROM? I would be grateful for any information about ROM for this tablet

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
I'm sorry to hear about your trouble but we cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist There is no forum specifically for Cello devices at this time but I suggest that you ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. Since your device is relatively uncommon, please be patient and give the experts plenty of time to respond.
Good luck!
Specifically I have a Note II that's dead, but I guess any general Android troubleshooting would be welcome.
We took it to a battery place that confirms the battery is okay (which also kinda rules out the charging port being the issue). The place also let us try a brand new battery to no avail.
I've never rooted the phone so the culprit isn't a bad ROM (a lot of troubleshooting articles come from the perspective of a bricked phone due to bad kernel).
Phone just is completely non-responsive. Straight-up hardware failure?
The almost-too-fantastical coincidence is that it happened on exactly the same day I received my new Nexus 6P and finished configuring it. I wondered if it was some kind of carrier-induced bricking process but I don't think that's the case. My account is still active with the previous carrier and they confirmed everything is cool on their end.
Hello,
Since you didn't post your device model number....

The experts may be able to help. Good luck
Thx I'll do that.

Hi there,
I'm really desperate for some help. bit of an odd situation.
In august last year my mum committed suicide, I have recently got her things back and I am trying to access the data on her phone. It is a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, but the problem I'm having is it has a broken screen, also does not have USB Debugging switched on.
The police claimed they needed all her electricals to check for evidence, which is why they needed to keep it for nearly 4 months, however I dont believe they have in fact even checked the phone.
I really want to be able to access the text messages, so I can see if there was any indication prior to her death.
Please help if you can
Thank you
Milo

Hi
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Depending on how badly the screen is broken you might be able to connect a mouse to it via an OTG cable. If that doesn't work the best place to ask this is in > Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100, N7105 > Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting. Experts there may be able to help you.
Good luck
I have a Galaxy Note 4 with a bad screen.
The phone will boot but the screen is totally blank.
I would like to sell the motherboard but I need to remove all personal data from the phone first.
Is there a way where I can connect the phone to a mouse and computer monitor where I can interact with the phone.
If yes, would appreciate some links to whatever hardware I need to buy and/or any tips.
Thanks.
