Android platform is growing and more and more people are using an android phone or an android tablet. Some of painting/art dedicated applications are still in development and sometimes there are no equivalent, compared to iphone/ipad app sets.
What are your experiences on the android platform and what applications, do you use for game/entertainment/education or daily work as an artist or art lover ?
Any suggestions to enrich this topic is welcome. Its main objective is to have a panorama of "Art" dedicated apps for the android platform. Thanks for your contributions

I simply love this program as it really does perform as a digital canvas should.
Sketchbook Mobile as mentioned above is also very good and has similar amounts of brushes and controls.
For users who have a Galaxy Tab though it does not conform to the screen size, you have to use another program named Spare Parts to alter the Apps resolution in order to make it fit correctly.

I know this thread is a few months old now but you might be interested in adding my app Fresco to the list. It's a painting/sketching app for Android that has full layers support and also features filters (e.g. blur, emboss, brightness). See here for more details:

Sketcher Pro or Sketcher is the best artistic drawing apps.
Here's my little question.
Do you know like this apps? Technical Brushing?
Cuz Sketcher is the good apps but some deficiency
No Brush Size
No Layers
Add the photo but no resize and no remove
Maybe this features porting another apps? Or Sketcher brushes porting another apps? Is that possible?
Or maybe they're suggest like this apps?

Guys, do you think you would want an option to use this as a live wallpaper as well or will it cause too much distractions?
I think its best as a standalone app. Live wallpapers have been done before, but here is an opportunity to make a standout unique App.

It uses touch to draw the rockets trail, and uses the length of a stationary touch to determine the intensity of the shell explosion.
You have made a good start, but I would love to see some of these features maybe, with some high quality firework audio samples.

buzzboy: your not an SOB we want feedback we need feedback otherwise we wouldnt know what users want/think about the product...
have you downloaded the app? what do you think of the auto play feature? is there enough fireworks at once? what do you think about the fireworks "shapes" that come out randomly that looks like smily face, heart, star, peace sign etc.. do you want more stuff like this?
as for the your trail request we can do that we currently have trail feature the user just not controlling it atm...
More audio explosion is coming...
Personally I prefer realism, but can't speak for the masses who may prefer cute shapes.
I'm a real pyromaniac.

Its a possible solution, it will be interesting to hear other opinions on the realism aspect.
Thinking about it, i would imagine it's easier programming for Apple devices due to the hardware being almost identical. Whereas Android has such a varied range of devices with different hardware performance .

well sure android has alot of different devices and specs etc but we are specialist when it comes to mobile we have the same app running on Android, Nokia(symbian), Blackberry and WP7 no iOS

Wow, this is coming on leaps and bounds now.
Big improvement, also on the Audio effects, its nice to have that distinct audio echo with the explosions, and also the trail option is a welcome feature.

Installed the Jelly Bean 3d wallpaper but brightness of reflexes seems a little messed up...It is just me? I have a stock Android Nexus 4... Attached screenshot...

These live wallpapers work on any device with OpenGL|ES 2.0, Xperia Z included. And they do not require any root.
just curious, what did you use to capture the screen for the jellybean video?

Because I'm no fan of External SD Card and all the apps 2 sd thing cuz my country ain't got class 10 sd cards. So the only option I have is to change hboot to small system and bigger data partitions just for extra 100 mb. That's why I remove all the apps that are huge in size(including the google things) to spueeze extra space from any ROM. Its a real dilemma to remove apps from the ROM's zip file and then copy it to my card so as to install them. And I'm a flash- and ROM-aholic
