[Q] a new LG 3D member

hello everyone, i'm really sorry if i posted this thread in the wrong forum but i'm a little lost here
i got my p920 last month and i'm desperate about this battery but i fell in love with it!
it's like having a ferrari with a 4 gallons tank capacity!!
so i tried searching for a new firmware that improves battery consumption ,faster and better interface.
but every thread i found talking about new firmwares but with bugs like inverted camera and what so ever.
so my question here:
is there a completely bugs free new firmware for this phone?
and btw i'm new to android OS ..i could barely root this phone, can i fix it if it's bricked or if i made something wrong ?

First welcome to our forum , I hope you find what you need . And thank you because you posted in the right section .
If you want a better battery life with performance (No any bugs) . Root your phone ,, install recovery ,, then install a custom ROM and Kernel .
My advice is the " Prometheus Project " ROM and kernel .
See the development section .
BUT YOU MUST FLASH THE 2.3.5 BEFORE .

i can explain you, how to modify the files, so can can istall the rom BUT i really don't know if its compatible or may be your phone starts to scream and run away...
Seems to be a realistic scenario besides a BRICK
i9100g is produced later with a completely different CPU and GPU chipset. With my HTC One S it is the same, i had trouble to get an "old" S4 variant, which is quite better.
Just try outa rom compatible to your phone pls.

let me help you a lil bit now
download the ported rom for the g device and the normal rom version , then open the gdevice rom with a zip explorer(7zip or winrar) and the orig rom , then take the files from system/app / framework / fonts /media from the orig rom and paste them over the ported rom inside the system folder (you'll replace them) and then do the same thing with the preload folder , this one you just take it and replace it with the ported one
and then follow the instructions of how to flash from the ported rom thread and see if it will boot
now you should have the new nr version ported on the old version base

because i suspect that those mods are available in aroma selectable features , try to look into the files or ask Sale , i'm sure he will be very happy to help you

[HELP] apps disapeared and external memory was deleted

Hello guys, it has been several times that I had problems with my device.
Some forced closing advices often appeared on the screen and I was not able to use most of the apps of my phone. Turned off the device and then turned on, lots of apps disapeared and the external memory was completely deleted (apps, photos, mp3s and so on).
Recently, some google error advices appeared on my phone and later all gapps (Play included) disapeared.
I always tried to restore the device flashing stock ROM.
This situation is exasperating me and I would like to know the reasons of it and how to solve it. Can anybody help me? Thank you!
My device is a Galaxy Fit with stock flashed ROM, rooted (Superuser). External memory (16GB MicroSD card) was partitioned using CWM (flashed) in two portions: ext2 (2048M) and fat32. Partition was made to use Link2SD app and save most of internal memory. I also installed AdAway (non Play app) to hide banners.

Did u use cwm 5.0.2.7 (by tjstyles)? If yes, then for ur info. it creates ext4 partition, not ext2. Also, pls. mention baseband version of ur stock rom & ur country/region.

No, I did not. I downloaded CWM from the web and I do not remember where. Actually, I do not think that my CWM could have the same particularity (unknown till now) that tjstyles one has, because Link2SD never accepted ext4 partition (it automatically used ext2).
S5670DDKT1 and Italy, Europe.

S5670DDKT1 is of India. For Italy I found this S5670XWKTO.
Its extremely dangerous if u flashed wrong stuff that's not made for our phone. Here's the right recovery which u need to start with : Clockworkmod recovery for Galaxy Fit GT-S5670.:sly:
Note: Flash this recovery after flashing stock 2.3.6 firmware & follow the procedure properly

I recently flashed a new stock ROM (DDKT3), rooted and flashed CWM, following guide and dowloading files from these sites:

When you told me that DDKT3 rom (for India only) could be dangerous for my phone, I immediately flashed the rom suitable for my country that you suggested to me (S5670XWKTO).

Surfing on internet I found rooting and CWM files more appropriate for my rom. At the moment, my device seems to work pretty well and very stable.
I think that my problem was solved and I learned new things about my device thanks to this forum and its users!

No dude!! Not in that sense. I meant about those stuff which are not made at all for our device(Galaxy Fit) &/or if u r not sure whether the files u r using are suitable for our FIT.
Since DDKT3, XWKTO..etc. are Galaxy Fit firmwares(with different country/region), so ur phone will work fine with any of these firmwares. But ensure that they are made for this phone(Galaxy Fit) only.
& its even better to have a firmware that suits ur country/region. So u made the correct choice bro!!:thumbup:

Hi, and thanks a lot for miui v6, one question, could be posible to install it over stock bq aquaris 5.7 rom (i've rooted and those things).
The principal factor is for use the partition system that we have.
As avi wrote in the other post, with problems with boot.img. If i change the boot.img from rom to the used on bq, will be enought?

That wont be enough.
Most probably the ROM wont boot as per my knowledge.
There are some changes in boot.img file.
Also vold file is different.
For the best results u can just flash stock XOLO ROM on ur BQ with sp flash tools and enjoy all the ROMs here:good::good::good:

Installing… will post a perfect in depth review soon…

Well, tried, but i have had to come back to stock.
I only have a microsim (used on 2nd sim) where i have data. No signal, i can recieve calls, changing the system on 2nd sim, from wcdma -> gsm but i don't have internet on it.
i think that i'll wait until next build... and search in how use our (bq) modem, to obtain internet on 2nd sim... and see how to add spanish apn on it

U can use system/etc/apns-conf.xml & agps_profiles_conf.xml from stock bq rom.
replace system/etc/firmware/modem_1_3g_n.img from stock
and try.

Nothing to do, i don't have access to network... maybe is a problem with anything else, i don't know :S with modem i can detect more 3g networks but, no internet connection :S

Thanks Avi sir. Really a great rom and wants to be used forever. Initially the signal was very weak. But after flashing modem.img as suggested provided by sachin.r.fulzele sir the signal strength is very nice. Thanks to sachin.r.fulzele sir for this. Very nice rom, smooth. Feel a slight slow UI. NO FC command. Everything works fine. But, Lock Screen till shows no signal for both the sim cards. Please rectified. File locker unavailable. please provide. If UI can make fast I will feel lucky. Rest all are very nice. Many many thanks Avi Sir for your great work and providing us such a nice rom. Now dosen't want to swtithover to any other rom. Just make this rom more responsive and productive please.

@avi sir, I am putting here some reviews for which I hope you will resolve to make rom extra-ordinary.
1. Rom is awaysome and with cool UI. Love it.
2. Signal problem solved by flashing modem.img provided. Working fine.
3. Still network carrier name in status bar and lockscreen shows "No signal".
4. Battery Life seems normal.
5. Email Settings not working to add another additional account.
6. 3G Sim switching not possible for 2 nd sim.
7. Memory status shown correctly. But, Default storage disk unable to change. It shows changed but practically each and everything is being stored on phone memory only. unable to store on SD card by default. (at least for me)
Sir, I wants to use this rom for my daily use and dosent want to switchover to any other rom. So please, help and suggest or release a patch... please sir. will be ever thankful for your great work.

miui 6 kitkat based rom facing problem
Dear all
As its my first post, i flashed the rom and provided patches for modem, initially superb. Bt 3g data network working only if single sim inserted. Perhaps dual sim 3g switching is not possible in this rom. While inserting both sims neither gets 3g data working. Secondly, all incoming calls are being automatically rejected even if DND is deactivated. Plz provide solution for boh problem. Its a humble request to all of you respected senior members as its awesome rom and i want to use it as my permanent Rom in my xolo q3000 wirh stock kitkat.

Thnx for the reply. Last night formatted system, wiped evrything and made a clean flash along with patch provided by you. It worked and 3g in sim 1 is working now. But the problem about gapps is still there. Tried latest gapps but in vein. Also tried gapps from other roms which worked earlier in my previous rom. Seems its a limitation imposed by miui. Request you to please please provide medicine so that atleast i can use play store, maps and gmail.

Please provide MI Tools and WSM Tools in order to update firmware. Please....

MIUI 6 Xolo q3000
I used this ROM from last three days, mostly all things working fine except some.
There are no inbuilt ringtones, it use internal SD card as external, battery drain lot when playing games please fix this issue first, Mail app some time stop working, cant switch 3g for second sim, no navigation app, in dialer screen some times it shows only number without name, no service on lock screen and in notification.
When USSD code dialed its shows behind dialer
Else the ROM is superb.
Thanks for preparing a good custom ROM, please rectify these minor bugs as i love MIUI.

Wipe cache

HELP with GALAXY J7 (15) MM to Lollipop

Hello guys!
Is their any way to completely downgrade my j7(15) from 6.0 to 5.1?
Phone status: Russian 6.0.1 firmware , TWRP enabled, Rooted
Things i Have tried but doesn't work
*Completely cleaned system and flashed 5.1 via Odin with OEM unlocked and USB Debugging ON
RESULT: Odin stops at cm.bin while flashing and phone gives SW REV CHECK FAIL DEVICE 2, BINARY 1
*Flashed A7 Port custom rom (5.1.1) - Successful but still got the remains of the marshmallow rom (e.g Language) probably because of the MM CSC . Also tried to flash the official 5.1 after the former but got same result above.
Please help me

Btw this is OT but is it possible for you to fix the reboot issues in CM13? cause that would be a great christmas gift for me and for everyone lol I was just thinking about this cause my old phone - a Galaxy V ( VERY low end phone) was able to run on CM11 , 12 and 13. idk what the developer did but he fixed most of the bugs omg. Guys why do you believe that i can fix the auto reboot bug and i don't do it xD ,I already tried to fix it but i failed , tried many solutions too all failed , it's not about donations like all think ?

it seems that u didn't read my words carefully , i told you that i already tried and was not able to fix it , you shouldn't expect anything from the developers ,yes i started the first cm thread but that does not mean that i will continue my whole life trying to fix those bugs , we have our private lifes too , i'm not just sleeping , waking sitting on the pc to develop , we have other duties towards our families , friends ... , in short don't expect anything from me as i already tried and wasn't able to fix it .

Yes and with the ramdisk too but have no luck , best progress so far was auto reboot is fixed but with omx/ril/wifi all was broken

So in that sense. One of those (3) probably caused the auto reboot.

Have you ever heard of "I'm done with it" not to be an ***hole but this guy obviously doesn't want/can't do it, these kinds of things you don't just spit out it takes sitting at your PC every night after you get thru your entire day and personally I definitely wouldn't do it for a lost cause, if youre so keen on fixing it give back to the community DO IT YOURSELF, it's like making your own house, do the research and learn to develop custom roms, just a suggestion you can do whatever you want, if messi can do it then so can you, all it takes is a PC and a bit of YouTube
