Maybe they were automatically backed up to your google drive account, try deleting them there
Just disable it that's what I did. Then you won't see it in your list of installed applications. You will have to go to Google Play Store to reenable it.

You either arent logged in to the same google account on your phone or you cleared history by accident.

Hi I'm not sure if this has ever been asked. I'll try to make it as simple as possible and I'll post a screen shot. So when I go onto my play store and go to my apps it shows installed apps and when swiped to the left it shows all apps. There are some apps that show on my all apps section that I don't want showing anymore and I can't long press them to delete them off my gmail account. Is there any way I can remove them? I have ES file. Can't I do something in ES files and get into my system files for the play store to remove them that way?? Any advice would be really great. Thank you in advance
For some reason I can't post a screenshot right now. Hope someone will know what I'm talking about.

No. Simples. If you don't like it then complain to Google and add your name to the list.

You might need to look into your google account online. Its not something you could do by editing files as its all store in "the cloud"
But if you go to your account dashboard you might beable to find somewhere to wipe it etc.

Hello all,
I've decided to ditch Gmail and use the stock mail app. One if my accounts was hacked recently so Google had me add an extra layer of protection that when ever I sign in from another new device (or when I change ROMS) it sends me a verification code in a text message to complete the sign in. Is this what's preventing me from being able to sign into my account using the HTC mail app? Is there a way around it or something I'm missing when trying to set it up.
Thanks,
Mark

You have to go into your Google security settings and get a unique password that you will use for the HTC mail app. You will use the password supplied when you setup the mail app instead of your Google password. You will find it near the bottom of the security screen.

Where are the Google security settings at? I was able to go to Google settings and hit the 3 dots on the to right and one of the options was to get a verification code and it gave me one. I tried to use it as a password without a space in the middle and with but it still says failed.

I am not near a computer right now but you might need to get to the Google security settings via a browser. A verification code will definitely not work. You need to set an app specific password. Try to Google search "two step authentication app specific password" sorry I can't be of more help right now. If I was near a computer I could give you exact steps.

https://www.google.com/settings/security
Then click on settings for app passwords
It will generate a one time use password that will not be shown again after initially generated. You can save it if you wish, but you can generate as many as you wish so there really isn't a need. You can also revoke it at any time.
Thanks to both of you for the help. It worked like a charm.

Glad you got it to work. Too bad Google doesn't make that function a bit more obvious.

Open Google + app.
Go on settings > contacts
And check update contacts.
You should see your pic then.
Thanks to @Mazda for this tip.

I can't seem to get my Google photos to show in my gallery. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? I really don't wanna have to switch back and forth looking for a photo. I've synced my Google account and checked the option to show photos in gallery but they won't show up.
