You'd have to find a forum for that device. If there isn't any existing forum for it, then a known method for rooting is more than likely nil.
Of course you may root it, but can you root it? Meaning are you able to develop a method of root for it?
not a chance,
that thing is not famous here in XDA
so don't even bother
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

Good day!

I am new to this site and also a new android user.

Are there any threads or a step-by-step guide for newbies like me that we can follow easily?
Thank you.

Hi guys,
I'm a proud owner of a xperia T phone, and would like to install lollipop on it.
I have heard from my friend that it's needed to root my phone first, but I have no idea how to do it.
I have searched through this forum but was unsuccessful in finding out how to do it.
Can you help me please, with some tutorials, forum links etc.
Thank you in advance,
ev0lut10n.

Please feel free to create a thread in the Q&A section if you need further assistance: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-t-v/help
So this device is now running android 5.0 here is the system stats.
I updated the google drivers following this guide

Using kingo root there is no success. So was wondering if there was any other possible ways. Such as flashing it somehow to a lower android version? If anyone has any answers it would be greatly appreciated.
PS: This is the 2015 Black Friday Walmart tablet.
