The problem is that the 838 dosnt have the LTE 20(800) which we use a lot in Sweden, the 837 have that.

Strange, because the 838 shouldnt have LTE band 20 (800mhz), only 1800/2600... Only 837 have band 20.

Can you activate Band 20(800mhz)? Because then it isnt an hardware thing, only software which means that you can use band 20 or am I wrong?

Seems like the D838 is the one to look for, I have search alot for any shop in europe which sells it for around 235£ /325 € /359$ or under- But cant find any store that sells it for that lind of price. I found one store, but they did only deliver to uk
Anyone here know any store?

I live in Italy and I bought the 16gb model on eglobalcentral for 310 euros, it arrived after one week. It's a very reliable online store. If you check now they sell the 32gb version for 320!! www.eglobalcentral.eu

I've read some guys bought it on eBay from a high rated seller
(I don't know the name though). There will be custom taxes to pay, you may want to consider that.

You want the D821. Everything in the US will be the D820
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I957 using XDA Free mobile app
The D820 could be fine depending upon where you want to use it internationally. You'd have to research the countries of interest and the bands that are included in the US version of the phone to be sure.
If you get the international model I do not think LTE will be available in the US only HSPA+

Since its sold in China, how can others living in Europe, etc buy it? We can maybe use this thread and list reliable resellers here
Always choose GeekBuying to buy my Xiaomi stuff. Placed my preorder of 32GB version last week, hope it will arrive soon. Will show my feedback here.

I want to buy Xiami Mi4c. I live in INDIA.
Does anyone know if this device will be launched in INDIA or not ? Any info on this will be appreciated.
Also my colleague is travelling to China, so will it be a good idea to get the phone from China ? Will it have international warranty ?
Any support for 4g in the uk?
Anyone tried buying from the actual mi site and getting delivered to a chinese shipping address?
All those resellers have a significant mark up and/or limited color choice.
I thought I might get someone I know who speaks chinese to do it, I cant see much downside but ... you never know.
I think the phone would be the same right? Its not like theres an english version.

The Chinese version should be no google play included. You can get your device rooted and download a "谷歌安装器" app to install google play services. That's how chinese users install google play services.

Yes, it supports bands 3 and 7 but not 20 (so no dice on Vodafone)
4g support
on ibuygou they state on the product page that the phone supports both 4g networks (FDD and TDD)
Does anyone know whether it's supports both lte-FDD and lte-TDD?
I know it's dual sim, but do not know whether there is only 1 version of the phone that supports both 4g standards or that there is a specific version of the phone for FDD and a specific version of the phone for TDD.

Ah thank you. I cannot read chinese so I couldn't figure that out from the product page.
In that case it's a really nice phone. Snapdragon 808, FDD and TDD.
Any of these companies have warehouses in Europe to save on custom charges and a better returns service if needed?
Here in Italy I know at least two well estabilished web-stores that import China devices (not only Xiaomi) and sell them with a "proprietary" warranty service.
They are TopResellerStore.it and SmartyLife.net, while both have excellent feedbacks I personally purchased from the former with good satisfaction.
Hope this helps.

Looking to buy mate 9 UK

I'm looking to buy mate 9 to use in the UK.
Please share your thoughts on the phone especially those within the uk.
I'm interested in knowing if it would work on all UK 4g networks.
If camera is any good ompared to iPhone 7 S7 etc.
If there were any concerns with the phone.
I've read it does have touch screen issues which is worrying.
I just need help deciding if this phone is worth getting or not.
Not sure where to purchase in the UK, but you can purchase the international version (model #MHA-L29) from several retailers online. I purchased it from Wonda Mobile and had it shipped to the US. They pay any import taxes etc. too, and warranty it for 1 year. Make sure the model number is MHA-L29, not MHA-AL00 (Chinese version without 'true' Google Services integration).
How much did you pay?

Yes i am, I have the Mate 9, working great, I did an unboxing video on my YouTube channel. I have bought 15 phone's over the last 6 months from wonda mobile and no issues. My channel name is Tech Zilla
I've owned the phone for three weeks, never heard of any touch issues, and never had any. It's working better than any phone I've owned. The EMUI 5 is now my favorite UI.
Congrats all! This is a top of the line device!

The difference is only with the pre installed applications, all the international phones use the same bands for network, maybe only chinese cust use different one more or less band.

Hong Kong vs UK

I've read that the UK version will get 6GB ram bump up from 4GB and 128GB storage over 64GB elsewhere so if you see one look out for a 6GB version.
Only 6GB ram version is sold in HK
Do you know if the radios will be any different?
I am also interested in this, particularly if a HK handset will covered by HTC UK warranty?

The U11+ selling in Hong Kong are eligible for local warranty only, so think before you buy.
