[Q] Verizon HTC One M8 issues - Verizon HTC One (M8)

I am having a issue where my M8 does not want to boot past the first load screen on boot up. I have been messing with trying to root it all day and was having issues with SU not working. I then wiped my phone through TWRP and now it has the issue I mentioned before. Any help on this issue would be great. Hope I posted this in the correct place.

Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum.

Hence when i got it back , it all worked but i could not make calls. Sooo after reading some forums i tried to put a new rom on it, Android Hd one 84.0. Now the phone is stuck in a boot/recovery loop and is not recognised on my computer!! i`ve tried to adb sideload but this doesnt seem to load. Unfortunatley i didnt back up the the data before i done all this. Please help as im using an iphone and its killing me!!!!

Maybe it's just a bootloop and not a brick.
(Bootloop = neverending booting process, brick = either the download or the recovery mode doesn't work any more)
Here are some useful threads about those issues on your device:

Thanks. Have tried all of your suggestions but no joy. Having read the suggestions I noticed it said about re locking the boot loader before installing a rom? If i say exactly what I done maybe I somebody may be able to tell me my errors?
Unlocked using htcdev and rooted. Tried to get s-off using rum runner but it failed with a message"unfortunatley this isn't going to work out with your configure, you have 2 options
1) flash an unsecure kernel that's compatible with your rom
2)flash a different rom.
Have tried to reinstall Android hd one 84.0 from recovery mode, Get a message on installation page at the end saying set_metadata_recursive:some changes failed.
On reboot it goes straight to recovery page and if I go into fast boot the phone shows in the device manager but not as a drive???

Boot-looped One mini!

Hey guys and guyettes!
I somehow managed to put my One mini into a boot loop!
None of the options on the fastboot menu do anything other than turn the screen black and then go back to the boot menu... If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated!
And before anyone asks for whatever reason, no it is not rooted!
Things I've tried:
- Using ADB and SDK to unbrick it
- Hard resets, recoveries and factory resets
The last thing I did before it started the loop was install King of Thieves (a game).
Before the loop it ran out of power so I plugged it in and it went to the menu like it usually does then it just started too loop!
Thanks for any suggestions
~James
I'm currently chasing the same thing on my wife's phone. This is the 2nd time this has happened. (the first time was replaced by factory warranty). The ROM and everything is completely stock so I'm trying to unlock the bootloader using the HTC dev tools and I can flash the Unlock_code.bin but the screen never prompts me to actually unlock it... I'm hoping someone has a tried and true way of fixing this.

I have the bootloop menu which suddenly appeared for no apparent reason seeing as I haven't rooted the phone. It's an annoying problem that I see many people have except most people I see haven't quite got the same problem as myself...
Same issue...
I have a customer's phone, having the same issue. The customer brought it to me like this and I thought I would try to repair it. He is mentally challenged and so I really wanted to help him. But it's doing exactly what the OP stated. I even tried the same things before I found this thread. Unlocked the bootloader (but it did not actually bring up the screen to unlock the bootloader, the WinDroid Universal Toolkit simply stated it was unlocked). And yes, I did acquire the unlock.bin or whatever it was called.
So the phone will do nothing but reboot. I'm not sure how it got this way or if it can be fixed. That is why I am here.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

[Completed] HTC M7 - Tried to root (Installed TWRP) but now phone won't boot

I tried to use this guide to on htconeroot
Got to installing the zip for SuperSU v1.30
The phone rebooted but it said SuperSU failed
Tried to install Update Super SU v2.46
Phone no longer reboots. It shows the white HTC One loading screen but then just goes very dark grey forever.
I can still access the white menu that comes up when you hold volume down and power
Can also access the TWRP screen, however I tried factor reset there and it didn't change, it still won't boot.
Can't take out sd or battery as metal case
Anyway not sure if this is meant to be in the HTC M7 category, a TWRP category, Rooting one.
I'm not sure if it is because the guide was for 4.3 and on 5.02 or what.
I don't really care about it being rooted so much as having my phone back. The only reason I wanted it rooted was to install the camera change that is supposed to get rid of the green tint.
Anyway thank you for your time. And I appreciate any assistance that can be given. I have spent hours trying to figure it out, but I am still confused and figure I am likely to screw it up even more
Thanks, looked some up but i'm not sure how I would get a ROM on it. No SD card, and computer no longer recognizes it.

[Completed] HTC One M8 Bricked. Stuck in Bootloader

Hey guys, I need some help unbricking my friends HTC One M8. The phone is not unlocked, rooted, S-OFF, etc. The phone is stuck in the bootloader and no choices in it do anything, they just revert back to the bootloader. I unfortunately cant post a picture of the screen because I am new to the site. Along the top there is green text saying "RADIO-INVALID_VER_INFO" and "OpenDSP-INVALID_VER_INFO"
The only thing my friend said happened beforehand was that he accidentally clicked on an ad in google chrome and it started downloading what I think was a virus. He also said that the phone was restarting a day before it died. Any help is appreciated.

Boo loop issue

Hey everyone,
Up until recently, I've had no issues with my Zenfone 6. However last night the camera started acting up when I was trying to take a picture and the app suggested I restart my device inorder to rectify the problem. I followed the prompt and ever since last night my phone has been stuck in a boot loop. I have stock everything on this phone, I have experimented with roms and kernels in the past but didn't feel the need on this phone. I followed deadman96385 guide on how to unbrick your Zenfone but still have the same problem. I can't enter my recovery instead it just kicks me back to the boot screen. Unforchuntly, it is not unlocked so I have no way to flash twrp and install a fresh version of Android. I contacted Asus and their support suggested I find a local technician but I'm hoping git won't have to come to that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
