I bought this lg g2 D800 yesterday.
While I can run 3g data on it perfectly, it doesn't work on 2g data(edge,gprs).
Any help would be highly appreciated.
I'm using in Pakistan.
Does any one know the difference between frequencies of D800, 801,802 and 803?

i have bad signal in some places.for example when another phone has 5 asu signal, my phone (Lg-g2) has no signal.! iget in trouble with that,finally i updated phone to the android 5 as bellow:
Version: V30b
Country: TMO/T-MOBILE(USA)
Model: LGD801BK
but signal didn't change.
i returned back the phone to the seller and they told me the phone is perftect after doing some test.
can anyone help me?
as i live in Iran ,is there any firmware that can solve my problem?

You need to know what cellular frequencies are used by your carrier. T-Mobile is mostly used in US. Probably best to use an international version (802) the T-Mobile is 801.

I would call TMO, tell them the issue, and tell them you would like to stop by one of their stores to have them provide you with a free SIM upgrade. Good chance that would do it for you.
as the D802 model has good signal

same here coz when i select GSM only from hidden menu signal dropped and x sign on signal bar so it means my G2 D800 only working on WCDMA and 4G not work on GSM only so when ever 3G signal low my D800 signal also low pls any one have solution plss help

Hello. I have an LG G Pro here in Pakistan. Upgraded to 5.0.1 (Stock) Software : F240L30c and baseband M9615A-CEFWMAZM-3.0.113067.
Issue is that it's working fine on CDMA, however for GSM bands, it gives service disabled (Checked manually through servce menu). Since, there is not a whole lot of 3G coverage here yet, I'm left in a lot of areas without any coverage.
Any suggestions? Tried factory reset. Should i be looking to flash a seperate baseband?

I tried searching for this problem but got nothing that would help, so am posting here.
Issue:
I recently bought LG G3 from someone. The phone is unlocked to work on all networks (AT&T branding on the rom exists though). I am using it outside of USA and it works fine. However I am unable to get 4G speed on my 4G enabled sim. I tried this sim on other phones, and other sims on mine. It is evident that it's my phone that is not supporting the 4G speed, despite showing the 4G logo up top, when data is enabled.
Things I've checked:
I have checked the bands (1800) that my model support and verified it with my network to confirm that it should run their 4G service.
The phone is not rooted.
The sim is functional and has no lock on it.
Checked with hardware checker apps to confirm that my phones supports these bands.
I am not sure if it should root it, or what. I would really appreciate your guidance on the matter.
you need u-sim and 4g data plan for make 4g work, check if u have all of this.

Make sure ure apn is for lte or 4g i got stuck with a old apn from my provider once and only edge speeds

G Pro 2 F350L does not have the proper bands for T-Mobile LTE only for 3G speeds
My F350L and D838 have strong LTE signal but when I tried opening a web site, it does not open and get the message "You are not connected to the internet."
What seems to be the problem and how can I resolve that issue?
