[Completed] Emma software not detecting my sony ericson mt11i? - XDA Assist

I am having a sony ericsson mt11i. I followed the sony.developer given steps to flash new os as my phone is repeatedly restarting on its own. I did the ULOCK BOOT LOADER step properly and the process showed success of operation- yet I am unable to get it detected by Emma software.
Specifically
1. do I need a orginal Sony ericsson micro USB - USB data cable for this operation or any micro USB- USB cable will do the job?
2. how to check whether that my phone BOOTLOADER is unlocked.
3. also any major per- cautions while Flashing the phone other than that it void my warranty.
Need immediate help please.

[Completed] [Q] Sony Xperia Z1 bricked

My device is C6903 (14.4.a.0.108) bought from the Philippines. It's already rooted and has an unlocked bootloader.
The problem is when I installed this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2699803 it now wouldn't boot it just shows the Sony logo and after 2 minutes or so it just blacked out. but when i tap the screen on a dark room the screen shows the black background without the sony logo and after a moment it darkened again like its in lock screen (Its really hard to describe).
I flashed it using fastboot. with this command
/ fastboot flash boot boot.img / and after I input this command
/ fastboot reboot /.
Its still charging and it shows the battery icon when charging on an off state. It can still be recognized by fastboot when i connected it to the computer.
Ive already hard reset it using the button on the sim card slot and the other method the power button and the volume up. It didn't really helped. help me guys Im new in this flashing methods. What should I do?
Hi,
Did you read the requirements at the beginning of post number 1? Did you meet those requirements? The best place to ask about this is in the kernel thread you linked in your post. If that doesn't help you, you can ask for help here....

Any future questions can be asked in the above section also.

thanks for replying. I have managed to get out of the situation but now I'm facing another one. My phone is now on boot loop. I tried using flashtool but it wouldn't work. While on flashboot doing its job, my phone would just boot up and go again on a boot loop. flashtool log would just say device disconnected.
I think I found a way to do another trick using fastboot but I don't have a custom recovery installed. Is there any way that I can install CWM or any tools like it using only fastboot? I've been looking for it the whole time but I can't find one. I'm new to this thing by the way. Thanks again!
I've found one. http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Template:Recovery_install_fastboot
Can i flash this Z1-lockeddualrecovery2.7.154-BETA.flashable.zip (if its possible ) instead of the .img that was mentioned on the site. I can't find a recovery.img for my device.
Again, please ask in your device section linked above.
Thanks!
Thank you. Thread closed.

But when connected to Sp flash tool it is detected and also device manager detects it. Please HELP
Hi,
Unfortunately flashing anything not made specifically for our exact model of device usually ends in a brick. You're likely going to have to take it to a service center.

[Completed] Change Bootable device to Yes

Hi,
I have just by a Sony Ericson Xperia arc S. I have wanted to install a custom rom. But when I was in unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com I have cheked if my device is bootable (using *#*#7378423#*#* and checking Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status). And my Bootloader unlock allowed says No.
How can I do to force the Bootloader to Yes ?
Information : My device is unsimlocking.
Thank you !
Hi,
Here is a similar thread that has many ideas and other links,
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc > Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Unlocking bootloader on Xperia Arc S
Good luck!
Thank you for your reply,
I have already test this link before create this help post. I can see that in different posts :
"I'm pretty sure that if you are not allowed to unlock it, there is no way to unlock it."
"If the light above the USB port on your phone doesn’t turn blue when you connect your phone using the USB cable to your PC while holding the “MENU” button (on Xperia Arc. For Xperia Play – “SEARCH” button), then it means that you cannot connect to fastboot, and hence you cannot unlock the boot loader."
And it's what append for me. So I think it's not possible ?
I would ask about it in the thread I linked. ?

[Completed] type password to decrypt storage Xperia M

My phone has got locked by itself and is showing 'type password to decrypt storage'.
I can't move further than this...
What all i tried and failed at:
1) Repair using Sony PC Companion. But after getting started some error pops up saying retry. And this happened with the Authorised Sony Service Care personnel too. So I brought it back to home.
2) tried flashing using Sony Flash Tool. But right now my device is connected in MTP mode. And flashtool is urging me to switch ON usb debugging so as to flash the device.
Problem: As the device is locked now. I can't switch ON usb debugging.
Kindly help.
NOTE: I'm new to XDA and would appriciate re-corrections regarding this post. Thanks
