I'm looking to buy something like a silicone case for my galaxy tab plus. I'd like to pick it up at best buy or something because I am impatient in waiting for ordering online. It looks like retailers don't really have any Tab Plus accessories anymore. I looked at the Tab 2 and it looks like it's basically the same body.. Would it be possible to use a Tab 2 case on my Tab Plus?
I just received my Roocase which Amazon advertises for both the Tab Plus and the Tab 2. The actual packaging on the case says it's for the Tab 2. It works wonderfully for me, everything's accessible and looks great. I think any accessory for the Tab 2 should also fit a Tab Plus.

You probably found one by now, but I would suggest going on ebay and dealextreme just the same, you can get all kinds of cases for all occasions, for as little as $4-5 shipped.
I got a case for my GTP6210 from Amazon, it's the Bobj rugged case for 7-inch Galaxy tabs, very high quality recommended case.
Does anyone know if the screen protector of Tab 2 or Tab3 fits in Tab Plus?

I think you will have a hole where the home button would be on the Tab 3 if you used its screen protectors. Also the Tab 2's will fit if it's a 3g model, the wifi only tab2's protectors lack the earpiece speaker cutout.
If you can wait ~4 weeks, you can try one of these:

The tab 2 case fits perfectly without interfering with any of the controls, The only difference is that your flash for the back camera will be covered on the back - thank God for Dremmel!

The problem is that galaxy tab 2 doesn't have a hole for your camera flash. But everything will work fine.
Btw, I just bought galaxy tab plus case/cover from Ebay... I received mine after 2 weeks.
Experienced good on arm band on Galaxy S3 and yet have no found arm band for Galaxy S4, if some one get already a good one for share... ?
I'm sure that if you go look for SGS3 accessories you'll find plenty. They'll fit your phone as good as any SGS4 accessory, of that sort, would.
Arkon's Galaxy S3 armband does fit the GS4. $18.

Will the Arkon work with a case? I got the Belkin slim-fit armband and my S4 won't fit in it with the case on. This is my first Galaxy so haven't had to get an arm band this big before.
search amazon.com
I ordered mine on there. They are less than $10 shipped. Works and does exactly what it says it does.
Only gripe i have is that the 'back' and 'menu' buttons are covered, but i dont need it when its strapped to my arm and im listening to music.
My wife has an S3, the Belkin Slim fits the S4... I like it a lot, going to buy my own soon.

Did anyone get the urban tool gadget holster for their Tab s 8.4? seems like a nifty way of carrying the device around as opposed to the standard man-purse. It's advertised for the ipad mini, but I'm wondering if it fits the 8.4 S as well.

Picked up the SM-P580 for my 6 year old this past week.. Curious to see what case everyone likes or is using with theirs -- I picked up a relatively cheap ProCase off of Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Gala...id=1511708748&sr=8-7&keywords=sm-p580+procase and it is just ok --- Since this Tablet has been around for quite awhile was hoping to get some thoughts on what you guys liked.. Thanks..
Cases are a hit or miss with the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen (P580) and without S Pen (T580). There are a limit amount of accessories for these models.
You probably want a Mignova Heavy Duty Hybrid Protective Case with Build In Kickstand, since you're letting your kid use your tablet: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y15M2VP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It will help you reduce the damage if he or she drops it. Don't rely on the included screen protector because its garbage. There are identical ones with different brand name, but they are all the same. All made in China. Some are cheaper while others are more expensive so make sure you pick the cheapest price and it's designed for the one with the S pen.
Also, the model without the S Pen (T580) is a smaller tablet. They aren't the same size as the model with the S Pen (P580).
Infiland Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen Case, Smart PU Leather 360 Degrees Rotating Stand Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S pen P580:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M65L2XX/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This one is okay, but the 360 degree rotating stand is flimsy. It only stays in place if you just watch a video on your tablet. If you plan to use it while its in vertical or horizontal mode, it often falls down.
ProCase Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Case without S Pen

If I had this case for the one with a S Pen, the screen flaps are annoying and cover a small portion of the screen in all directions. For a tablet without the S Pen, it's manageable. Good build quality. Thicker case than Infiland leather case. You got to take the tablet out to access your mSD card.
Samsung Book Cover for Tab A 10.1” with S Pen, Black or White
https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/m...tab-a-10-1--with-s-pen--black-ef-bp580pbeguj/
Right now, it's 50% off for $25 but normally for $50. If you missed the sale, you can get cheaper ones on Ebay as used or open-box.
Out of all the cases I have including the Pro Case for the T580, the Samsung Book Cover is the best one for the Tab A 10.1” with S Pen (P580). The only con aside from drop protection is that you can't use it in vertical mode because the magnets only hold the tablet in two horizontal angles. Easy to take off and put the book cover on. Easy access to your micro-SD card slot. No raised screen case hinge to interfere with my hand when I'm writing on it. The magnets are strong and hold in place with I use it.
I was thinking of getting a keyboard case, but I discovered there's no official Samsung Keyboard case. There are 3rd party Chinese manufacturer keyboard cases, but they are a hit-or-miss too with build quality and user experience.
Thanks for all the info Baja --good stuff..
I just got this one for my SM-T580 and it fits great.
It's not cheap, but it's worth a bit of extra cash.
I did take the screen protector out because I don't like them, but otherwise it's a great case.
