How do I recover my GT-19100 O2 UK?

Hi, I had my phone unlocked and rooted with GT_19100_XXK14_original and CF-Root_SGS2_XX_XEO_K14-V... All was working correctly but I decided to try installing ICS ROM Batista70 FoxHound Edition 0.3. The install seemed to go smoothly but upon reboot phone was frozen in boot screen. The freezing happened at each reboot, so I tried flashing back to the earlier ROM, knowing I had CMW and zip files on the SD card. CMW would give me the option to install from SD but did not find any zip files! I can put the SD in a card reader and see the zip files with windows explorer. I got into download mode and tried to flash XXK14_original with Odin but this failed. I am now left with a phone which will go into download mode but no longer has CF-Root - the recovery is now the standard blue version of Samsung and indeed this does not see zip files either! Could it be the zips are corrupt? Is it any use to try re downloading a zip file direct to the SD card? There doesn't appear to be any ROM installed as start-up doesn't proceed beyond the "S" logo.
How should I proceed? I have explored this site for clues and cannot find anything relevant. Now desperate please help!

[Q] Cannot use samsung recovery to install CWM

Hi,
I have a problem with my P6210. I am trying to install CWM on it (it has root access) but whenever I go into the recovery, it cannot find the sdcard with the cwm zip file. I have put it in multiple places in the system to see if the recovery software can find it but fails.
The photo shows the screen I get every time I try -
https://www.dropbox.com/s/gau2erxviegyqwc/2012-06-22 05.26.54.jpg
Anyone please?
It means you either didn't put the zip in the right place (on the root of the SD) or you have a wonky MicroSD card. Happened to me with an off-brand 8gb. Used another 2gb card I had lying around and works fine.
Thanks a million!
I remember this is how i rooted my tab too. I swapped the sd card from my optimus black to my tab and was able to root it like that. Must have forgotten.
Again thanks a lot.
My pleasure. Just got my GT+ (trying to decide if it can replace my GT10.1) and had fun figuring this one out myself. It's a bummer there's no working ICS for this tab (yet); on the GT10 it was night and day from the best custom 3.2 ROM to the first ICS ROM.

[Q] <samsung galaxy s plus> cwm-based recovery v5.5.0.4 appears on each boot

Hi..
I was trying to upgrade my samsung galaxy s plus (GT-19001) device to Android 4.0.4.
i just installed CWM-based recovery v5.5.0.4 on my device by rebooting and selecting (install zip from sd card).
------using mentioned combination of keys -------
Then i placed the files in my phone's internal SD Card.
files are mentioned below:
1-> cm-9-20121011-ivendor-ariesve-rc5.zip
2-> gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip
3-> recovery-clockwork-6.0.1.2-ariesve.zip
then install 1 by choosing from internal SD card and then 2nd file.
my device prompted completion success messages but it took very short time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
now what happened after doing this. my device is displaying same booting screen of CWM-based recovery v5.5.0.4 on each re-boot.
i treid many times by unplug the battrey but unfortunately unsuccessfull.
After that i did Wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I tried it through window's based utility Odin v4.43 but it could detect my device usb driver even after success of USB driver installation.
it didn't display Added in message box.
now what should i do ?
i already installed samsung Kies but still undetected but still undetected my Phone device and says "Your phone device is not supported by Kies2.0"..
I tried some old version of Odin 3v1.8 , it detected the port and displayed Added but failed to write ROM on my device.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My desktop machine's OS : windows 8 64 bit enterprise edition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am unable to install new ofor revert back my OS because when i Hold Vol Down + Home + Power, This is not putting me in Download Mode instead Ramdump Mode.
I need your guidence to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance.

[Q] Rooted Samsung Succesfully-Problem installing Rom-Please help urgently!!

Hi
I just love this site..I have a problem. I have rooted my samsung galazy s2. I can go into download mode, and also into the one when pressing HOME + POWER+ VOLUME UP Key.
The problem is I want to install the Rom, but i cannot place the downloaded zip (Rom) into my phones mass storage (sd card) because my pc doesn"t pick up my s2 at all. I did instal Kies.
I actually had it rooted before, and installed canyon..rom? Successfully.
My daughter actually tried to do a factory reset after that. And now I had a phone with just a white screen. Then used Oden and rooted it again successfully. Oden connected to my phone real quick without problems.
Install clockworkmodrecovery....something like that. And works when I press the HOME+POWER+VOLUME KEYS.
My phone does not start up at all. It just go on to a screen with Samsung Galaxy S2 Wording and yellow triangle.
Now the next step is to get the rom into the phone, so that when I press Home+Power + Volume keys up..I can choose option install zip.
I have the rom on a external micro memory card. But when I choose external sd card. It says no files found.
And it actually shows all the files that is currently on the samsung.
I tried to install the rom through Oden. Dont know because it doesn't select the whole file. So Please can you tell me what to do, any one help please..
I really want my phone working again.

Take the micro SD card out of the phone, put it into an adaptor or another phone and move the rom along with the gapps in the card. (if the rom is jb, you need jb gapps, ics goes with ics gapps). Insert the card in your s2 and then reboot into recovery - install zip from sd card - install the rom and install gapps then reboot normally. If this doesn't work post this again at the appropriate section and pm me.
Hit thanks if I helped.

[Q] How to flash a ROM without access to internal SD card Tab2 10.1

Hi all,
I have in the past install cyanogenmod 10.1 via Clockwork Recovery Mod. I was "playing" around and basically I am stuck on "Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" (formatting things in Recovery.....I know stupid!)
Most ROMS seem to suggest installing via Clockwork by copying the files over to the SD card, I am a little lost because I cannot even boot to android and Clockwork doesn't seem to allow USB storage (not sure if it was designed to).
I assume I can flash cyanogenmod again using ODIN? If so how would I go about doing this? Download mode is working fine so fingers crossed you guys can help.
Many thanks!!!!!

If download mode is working, why not just download the original rom for your tablet - get back to stock, and start over ? Not sure if your formatting may have changed something - I would feel more comfortable flashing back to stock with ODIN, and starting my rooting / upgrading / flashing from a solid / stock base.
Just my .02 cents
Good luck, and hopefully someone will jump in with a more useful option
Regards,
You can switch your internal and external storage, so your tablet thinks everything on your sd card is your internal storage. This way you should be able to access your internal storage again (unless your phone doesn't even give you the option to select internal storage). You can do this with the Link2SD app. Besides, this way your internal storage has more space too.
