PureGear DualTek case - Works with Samsung Qi back. - Galaxy Note 4 Accessories

Not a bad case for the money. (If you get it at amazon and not from the shark tank VZ store I went to) Nice tight fit with or without the optional Samsung Qi wireless charging battery cover. Smooth white plastic and perfectly non slimy yet grippy TPU all around. Qi charging, NFC, WiFi, LTE, Text and voice service is completely working and unaffected by the case. Plus, nothings modded or hacked up. Warranty's unaffected. Life is sweet.

FWIW: Dr. Shield anti glare screen protector. And white silicone port plugs too.

As far as accessories go, I have the Body Glove case. It's rock solid and very tough, if a bit bulky. I tried a cheapo hard plastic case, but it did not cut the mustard.
I have also found that the data/power cables are not fully interchangeable. When rooting my phone, I found that using a generic USb cable did not work. I used the included data cable and it was no problem.
I tried a screen cover, but the screen is tough, so it's not needed to prevent scratches. I wanted it mostly for poke and crush protection (leanign against something with phone in pocket) but I tore it off. THe Body GLove case rises above the screen to help protect, at least from flat surface.
I love my cheap Virgin Mobile phone.
I am seriously considering getting the universal wrist charger i found online.
It's available at thinkgeek

Horizontal leather carrying case for Skinned G2x and White TPU skin

Horizontal leather carrying case for Skinned G2x
My 2 cents... this is definitely a cheap case at $2.40 - $4. (it costs more for shipping via USPS LOL )it seems well built and should hold any G2x that has a TPU or Silicone skin on it. Heck for this price it was worth the gamble... size wise and build quality.
It has elastic on the sides so it should fit a larger skin like the Speck candy shell or whatever they will finally make from Seidio With the TPU skin i bought (see below) it fits just right and needed no “break in” period.
A major plus for those who will ask.... “Does it activate the Car mode when you take it out?” the answer is NO but only if you put it in face first...face out will activate it....every time. I tested it without the skin i got just to make sure.... and if you have it face first...no car mode activation. yeah i know one of the most annoying conveniences..that ends up being very inconvenient. LOL

White TPU skin-
My 2 cents...
It fits ok and is not too tight. easily slips on and off if you need a battery pull. Yeah i know it makes it look more Iphoneish...but i like the look of it and the white contrast very well with the black front. i live in South Florida and was looking for a white tpu skin to help reflect the Suns rays. i originally bought the Black “flex skin” from Tmobile, just to get something on it. lst Sat. at about 2pm (Sun at or almost the highest in the sky..so yes it was a hot time of the day) i was using my Gmaps with Nav and within 10 minutes (i am not exaggerating & i was running the A/C cold) i got a pop up saying something like “ battery to hot, shut down phone” (similar window you get when it says you have a 100% charge and too unplug phone) i did not hit ok, since i did not know where i was going.... so i just backed out of it and it seemed ok. I have used my N1 with Gmaps Nav about 75 times including long summer road trips about 4hrs at a time and it did get hot...but i have never seen that msg. before. Perhaps the N1 housing acted like a heat sink to deflect heat away from the device...where as most of the G2x is plastic.
Anyway, i am hoping the white case will help deflect some of the heat instead of absorb it, lke a black case would. I have only had it a few days, so we will see. Either way, it looks great. the “tread like”pattern of boxes makes it easy to grip. That one opening by the power button had me a little worried, but the the edges have a reinforced area so it would be very hard to drop it directly on that spot. All the opening s are fine. the Volume buttons, and power button are not covered like with most TPU skins. I fnd it much easier to use the volume and power button than the Tmo flex skin i had been using. No issues using micro usb or plugging in headset like i have heard compaints about the Speck Candyshell. However it does not have “super” drop protection other than that it fits well in the hand so it should not slip out too easily.

thanks for the suggestions. I have a silicone case on my g2x and I am looking for a leather case that I could put my phone in without being too snugged (I would even prefer it to be very loose, so it doesn't rub hardly against the silicone case). For the leather case you mentioned, does the phone with a TPU case fit loosely within? also is the audo jack accessible with the cover closed?
on a second note, Pdair makes good leather cases, but their cases fit very snugged. What I want to do is order a Pdair leather case made for phone bigger than the g2x, so the g2x can fit loosely into the case. any suggestions for a BIG smartphones? all i can think of is the HD2
The case fits just right. i do not have to force it in. But i think a silicone case would be a little bigger. But with the elastic there should be no issue. Like i said... I paid $2.41 plus $4.43 Shipping etc.. total $6.84. So worst case was that i am out what it would have cost me to eat a fast food lunch lol
You can access the audio jack, with a slight pull of the elastic. More like a nudge to the side. (with it facing inward.)
As far as a bigger case. i got this for my dads Droid X with a Seidio Innocase Active Hybrid Case on it. Although when he first got it it was very tight sliding it in..it is better now that it is broken in a little. But this is a very large case. i put my phone in it when i had the Flex skin from Tmo and it had about a half inch of room sideways. It actually moved in the case. I put the measurements in here as well so you can get a better idea of how big it actually is. This is something i would recommend for the HTC Sensation with a skin on it. Or maybe a very large/bulky skin case on a G2x. the case itself ws less than $10.

Video review of 4 cases

(with a kinda drop test)
s line case, Nillkin Amazing Armor Bumper,Samsung protective cover+
http://youtu.be/94QtQB9x2CE?list=UUACeOFuBKLUX5JzaYFqAwWQ
Thanks for the reviews...in regard to the Nillkin case/bumper...I only found sellers in China on eBay...you know of any US sellers or Amazon sellers? I checked both but didn't find anything...thanks!!
Yes your correct I purchased it from a China supplier via eBay. It took a couple of weeks to arrive but overall good value for money.
I have two of the 3 main cases reviewed in same colors. The Samsung protective case fits better than the Nillkin. The Nillkin required some excess removal around the USB and mics to fit without slightly pulling away from bezel near the home button and allowing light to peak through the USB port. The fit here is much better on the Samsung case.
The lack of side grip is actually worse and more like the Verus Thor case, the Samsung protective case gets more slippery when cold than the Nillkin case. The Nillkin despite its smooth sides doesn't lose as much grip when cold.
Also, the Nillkin case fits the headphone jack better IMO because it covers all the chamfered edges. Once I fitted the USB port, I could say that I prefer its fit around the USB port better for the same reason but there is some concern about the fit near the mics. The Samsung case fits the mics perfectly and tight and even accommodates the Verizon spacing here. My modification on the Nillkin is not precise so I think the Samsung case may actually sound better on a call.
The review mentions the Nillkin is easy on, easy off; exactly, but it appears the Samsung case is harder to remove than even the Verus Thor despite looking and feeling quite similar around the bezel lip. The Samsung case feels as if it needs to stretch to come off but less cooperative at doing so when cold.
Others have said the Nillkin is compatible with the OEM wireless charger cover. If so, the case may appeal to both the wireless chargers and frequent battery replacement users.
I may try the S curve case but would like to know if it covers the chamfered edges as nice as the Nillkin but also fits the mics as perfectly as the Samsung protective case+?
damn that sucks about the Samsung case.. amazon is full of 5 star reviews so I got it.. and now I'm reading it sucks. and i spent 20 bucks on that stupid thing. damnit. oh well it comes Monday so we'll see. I'm using the diztronic now and it's nice, but i agree with him that the s line case is great. I've got the same one, but it doesn't fit as well as it should around the bottom lip of rhe phone, and the cutouts don't match the Verizon one. also, there's no raised edge around the camera and i don't like that since I place my phone down on its back.

There must not be a perfect case out there at the moment. What disappoints me about the Samsung protective case+ is the cold grip and ease of removal. Your results may differ; hoping warmer weather improves the ease of removal. I do think the warmer weather grip is good. We've had a warm day and a cold day since the case arrived. The fit is as nice as the Verus Thor.
To be fair on the grip gripes, I have small hands and suffer from dry skin in colder environments. Both tend to make these cases cold, hard and slippery.
Thanks for the commentary on the S Line case.
The cases compromise one thing or another. For now, I can deal with the lack of grip of the Samsung case because it's minimal. Don't get bummed until you try it yourself.
I got the Samsung, and i have no problem with grip issues. probably bc i used the diztronic for like 3 weeks.. and the sides of that are slippery too. this to me is decent enough grip. I actually love this Samsung case. it's thin. feels better than the diztronic. really keeps the phone shape the same. I got the blue and it looks so cool

I thought I was going to buy the Tech 21 Tactical Impact in matte black today. T-mobile only had the mesh in purple; I tried the fit on my phone and hate the exposed chamfered edges near the headphone jack. Also lacks the raised camera lip. Disappointing. The salesman said the black matte case, which they didn't have ATM, would be identical in fit. Deal breaker for my pursuit of a better case. The Nillkin Armor bumper case and Samsung are the better cases, for me. The Verus Thor is third for me.
Next week I should recieve e.grips which I plan to stick on the Samsung case.
It's amazing that we can't find a great slim case with a good grip.

case that fits wireless charging back and tempered glass screen?

i got that unicorn beetle case (i think that's the name). it "fits" with the glass screen protector and the wireless charging back (i still have to order a qi charger for my nightstand, office desk, and car, but im still looking for a case that will fit it perfectly. i really wish samsung shipped the phones with the wireless back, or at least make it the same size. is this a mythological case that i'm looking for? will any manufacturers step up to the plate? was this an issue with the note 3? i hope i can find the perfect case with a holster!

I use a Tech21 Classic Tactical case. It stretches around to fit the qi back. Tight fit but seems to hold up well.

[Q] Must have accessories...

Afternoon team,
So I'm moving from iOS back to android next week, with a new Note 4 on its way!
I used to have an S2 and enjoyed the hell out of trying custom ROM's, but I'll get on to that in a few weeks time!
First off though, of course, is getting the right case and accessories. All opinions and set-ups welcomed!
Keep in mind, I use my phone as SatNav as I drive a lot, daily. Things like flipcases would be irrelevant as I can only imagine how rubbish they are to mount in a car. Also, I like tough cases as long as they aren't too bulky. The CaseMate for iPad Mini's are incredible (iPad mini is a main tool in my business). Wireless charging seems intriguing, so I wouldn't mind looking into that. As long as it works through standard cases?
I've looked at the Spigen cases, they look ok. But there's an awful lot of mixed reviews on here.
So, dream scenarios people... what accessories and case should I go for??
Spigen capsule i have got that one and is awesome, great feel, good protecion and it also looks god
Thanks,
The Spigen line look cool but I do find their insistence on 'Auto Focus' a little out of taste!
If you need a case then I can recommend Spigen as I have had them on many of my phones and loved them although I'm not a case user most of the time. I have the capsule for the Note 4 and I like it but with an already big phone it makes it bigger but not too much.
If you don't need a case then I would recommend the qi wireless charging back cover even if your not going to use wireless charging to charge the phone because to me it makes the phone feel better in hand.
If you are going to use wireless charging then I the Nexus magnetic charger looks good especially when used with a good dash mount.
Samsung spare battery kit is also good to have because it comes with a battery holder/charger and a slim holder as well.
samsung oem qi back cover, iblason armorbox case, itian wireless car charger, 3m scotch double sided outdoor tape, 3 coil desktop qi charger. thats all you need.
-Samsung Protective cover. I've tried many cases from Spigen, and other brands, but nothing beats the OEM cover for me.
-A pack of plastic screen protectors. Spigen, iSmooth, iCarez, Halo all fit well. I haven't been happy with any tempered glass protector.
-A decent Micro SD card that fits your storage needs.
I want to suggest
Xpower 2.4A Aluminium Alloy Micro USB Cable
http://www.agrade.com.hk/index.php/...inium-alloy-micro-usb-cable.html?options=cart
can also find it on Ebay
There's a crazy deal on flash cards today, 128gb at 80$.
For must have though my list is short
Case since accidents happen, I use a 10$ caseology who's gaudy label came off with some rubbing alcohol.
Tempered glass screen protector if you're willing to get it at bestbuy, so they'll put it on and you can return it instantly if there's haloing. They tried four protectors until one worked, curved glass sucks.
High amp car charger for rapid charging, mpow is usually on sale. Mine was 8$.
I like a flat wireless receiver tucked behind the back door since I randomly find myself around wireless chargers, make sure it supports nfc if you use nfc.
Firekat rom to double your battery life since zerolemon is expensive
