I tried rooting my Note 4 (SM-N910U) and it looks like it's been rooted, but next to none of the root apps work, but that's not really my main concern right now. It has periodic lags that occur once every 1~2 minutes that freezes the whole screen for about 3 seconds and recovers, and I don't think it's dependent of what app I'm using as it has the same issue when I'm swiping the home screen.
I rooted my phone with CWM/TWRP Method, I downloaded Odin3v1.85 and SuperSUv2.37
I'm really new to all this, so I don't know what other details I should give, so I'll just type out everything in the "About device" section

Lags can have several different reasons.
Best to ask in the [NOOB FRIENDLY] Ask the question! thread.
There are some exoerienced users having the same device. So they might have best advices for you.
Good luck !

Hello all,
This is my first message and I would like to thank in advance to all whom have anything to say.
I just got myself an SM-P602 in Turkey. 602 is a variant of 601 which lacks the phone function (Maybe some other stuff as well).
It came with Android 4.3 preloaded and installed a couple security updates during the first boot. Now here's the current system info:
Android version: 4.3
Baseband version: P602JVUAMJ2
Kernel version: 3.4.39-1682900 / [email protected] #1 / Tue Oct 14 18:19:14 KST 2013
Build numer: JSS15J.P602JVUAMJ2
SELinux status: SEPF_SM-P602_4.3_0002
There is a video on Youtube (Unfortunately can't post a link because it's my first message) which shows this feature on a SM-P600. His Kernel version is higher than mine (3.4.39-2040736).
Now I want to know if there's a way to upgrade the kernel to get the multi user support (I guess it's available on P602JVUAMJ4). It's not rooted, but I might take that path if necessary.
Again, thanks a lot in advance
First my phone information:
Model number; SM-G900V
Android version: 4.4.4
Baseband version: G900VVRU1AN12
Kernal version: 3.4.0 dated Sun Sep 13 2014
Build number: KTU84P.G900VVRU1AN12
SE for Android Status: Enforcing SEPF_SMG900V_4.4.4_0032 Dated Oct 13 2014
Security software version: MDFv1.0, Release 3 , VPN v1.4 Release 1
I want to be able to utilize my external SD card and thus my need to root my phone. I have been reading through the threads and indications are that I can do that with towelroot. I also know towel root would be the way to go. However, given the date of my kernal is this even possible yet? If so, can someone direct me to the proper root instructions if that is other than towelroot please? I really don't want to change from the stock ROM at this time but want to be able to have the flexibility to do that in the future.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I think you're on Android 5.x and I'm not sure there is a root method at this time. But the best place to check is here,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53447240

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
KINGROOT actually supports your device if you want to root it. Though there is not recovery and no dedicated device forum for that device so i suggest asking HERE if you have any other concerns.
Good luck!

Hello dear,
My suggestion is to look over here Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and ask your question.
And here is one post related to the same section http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-note-3/help/root-note-3-t3262765, my suggestion is to ask there with informations from here.
Thank you
