New working dog boot animation link updated.

Can you please make your download link, a clickable link? The (code) tags are nice and all, but it just makes it more work for people to first copy the link and then open a new tab and paste it, vs just clicking a link and going straight to the download.
Also, you can make any bootanimation flashable, by grabbing a flashable .zip of a bootanimation and opening it up with 7-zip, (not extracting) and going to system>data> and dragging your bootanimation to replace the file that's in there. This way you can rename the flashable zip itself to anything you want (making it easier for people to keep track of what is what) and the people trying out your work don't have to mess around with the file explorer.
Thanks for your work! :good:

Well, it's good to generate content, but why double existing material? )

(boot animation) **11/29 Made an AOSP zip, Much smoother **

This was one of the first things i put together for the HTC incredible. I did not make the imgs. I just packaged them so they would work as a boot animation. Enjoy
* This is not flashable. you will need to find where your bootanimation.zip is and replace it with the zip provided.*

Once the dancing android shows up in boot it will loop there and not go back to the "Incredible" part again.
Added the files to XDA so the links will never go down again.
** You need to rename the zip to bootanimation.zip **
I just want to say i did not make the img files. i just made them into a boot animation for the droid incredible.
Very cool !!!!!! thank you.................
I installed this update in recovery twice but it did not change my boot animation... I have unrevoked forever. I didn't get an error or anything.
Thanks!

This is not an update. you need to push the file to where ever your bootanimation.zip is being held.
With skyraider its under system/media folder.
what ROM are you using and do you have root on your incredible?
can you attach .zip here? the link broken..
is this 480x800?
thanks
Since I stumbled onto the dance Droid I have not changed it. Except back to dance Droid after a 4lRom flash

It's not a compressed zip file. It's just storage. Then you'll have to copy it to system/customize/resource after you've renamed the one that's in there. (something like bootanimation.zip.old) Then hit paste and set permissions to match your old one. Reboot & check out your handiwork.

The ORIGINAL animated boot image was a glowing Andy next to the word "Android." I posted it in another thread. I'll link to it when I get home.
Sent from Spaceball One.
I COMPLETELY forgot about the original Android animated boot image. Here we go.

understated bootanimation

I like it simple.
Here is another little animated bootpicture I made for myself, starting immediately after the built-in boot image...- If you want to download backup the original "bootanimation.zip" (.../system/media/) and flash via cwm...

I see (also what I saw in the preview but I thought that was just the gif) that the animation is not running very well because sometimes it goes back to an previous image and it's very shocky sometimes.
Can you maybe fix that?
In general I like bios bootanimations (also have one on my tablet) so if you can fix what I just said it will be an awesome and will use it.

Your desc file has it a 7 FPS, which is fairly slow tbh, maybe try 15, it should feel smoother, but it may be too quick as well.
