There's an update to the touch drivers in the CM12 kernels, you could flash those, or just wait for CM12S to come out (if it ever comes out...)

So pretty much wait and try not to implode.... Damn you one plus

Soft buttons going crazy.

Hey, so I got my nexus s a few days ago and love it, how ever I've been having some problems with it.
Randomly the soft buttons on the phone, mainly the search key stars pressing its self. As in I'm not touching the phone but the button is being pressed.
I'm running cm7, don't really think its a rom thing but any help would be great.

I have the same problem with my Home button. Drives me crazy!

That used to happen to mine too, I found that by booting into recovery and wiping data and wiping cache and dalvik cache fixed that problem.
Give it a try and let me know if it also works for you guys.

Ya I reset everything and really flashed. Still doing the same thing.

Long thread on it at google support. If you have an I9020a, then it's a known "bug". it is associated to the modem and only happens when on 3G

Maybe put it back to stock and exchange it for a new one. Tell them the phone is defective.
Ive flashed the older radio and it seemed to help, do I still have warrenty if I got the phone from the U.S.?

The problem exists I the kb2 modem also though not has bad.
The warranty is not good across the border your will ned to ship it to the US then have it serviced from there. Pointless in my opinion since it is a software problem.

I guess ill just learn to live with it then, thanks for all they help guys.

Problems with my g2x

Just need some info up hear in Canada. I'm on wind mobile with there just released lg optimus 2x but the phone is a P999 model. Just that my phone does random reboots, it freezes when the screen is black and I have to pull the battery to wake it up. Also my blue tooth keeps dropping connection and when I listen to you tube the audio come out of the phone and not the headset. So I just wanna know should I take the phone back and exchange it or there is nothing wrong with the phone and that all these problems will be fixed with the gingerbread update?
Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk
Yep common LG p999 problems, everyone's got em'. Who knows what the update will bring, but everyone's hopeful. For now try flashing cyanogen as it is much more stable than the stock froyo (no rebooting or "black screen of death).
Edit: sorry not sure about Bluetooth as I've never tried. I heard its not too great with cyanogen though...

Do you by chance use the back light notification app? I've heard that causes a lot of the reboot issues.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
Yes I have the notification app maybe I'll remove it for now and see what happens thks a bunch guys

Which app are you using? I use the lg g2x app and haven't had any reboot problems.

So should I keep my phone or exchange it

You should do a factory reset.
That fixes most of the problems. If that doesn't fix it the try to exchange it.

Mine is stock but rooted. Not a big deal, can get it back to work by turning off the screen and turn it back on

Stock image bug, or my phone?

This is happening a lot now that I am on the latest stock image. My entire screen gets pixelated and colorful and then just parts, and then it returns to normal after I touch the screen. Is this a aosp bug?
Def your phone

I haven't heard of this bug in lollipop. I think it's hardware but I'd flash the factory image to see if that sorts it. If you still have the problem is hardware

Just want to let you know you are not alone for 5.0

I think I'm going to flash KitKat again and stay on it while lollipop gets cleaned up, I've found to many bugs it annoys me. Feels like one day my alarm won't go off and ima miss some important event lol. Thanks for the link! Glad its not hardware

Are you using a case? Sometimes the case is actually the issue if its pushing down on the powerbutton itself
otherwise try doing a fresh install using samsung smart switch, if you still get those reboots then swap it out for a new device
