This thread seems more appropriate as the tempered glass thread discussing various plastic screen protectors is taking away from the focus of the thread itself. Cheers. [emoji106]

has anyone switched from the zagg glass to the zagg hdx? Does it have the same clarity and smooth feeling?
It seems like there are mixed reviews on the texture of it. Some say it's rubbery and others say it's glasslike. Either way if the oleophobic coating is decent, it should be a nice alternative to glass. I have one on order. Gonna try it before I put the iloome on my wife's phone. I'll put up some pics and thoughts when it gets here.

I put one on yesterday. It fits very well and almost disappears once on the device. It doesn't feel as smooth as the glass. It is a liitle more grippy, but nothing like the old rubber ones. On a scale of 1 (rubber) to 10 (glass), I would rate it a seven. Very nice and entirely acceptable to me.

Agreed, im using the Spidgen protector nd its pretty good. I have to say that the Spen's low-spectrum sensitivity is almost useless now, but overall the Spen experience is good (so long as you have greased the screen with your finger oils). I found at first, beforegetting my oils o nthe screen, the Spen would drag. Did you have the same effect on your zagg?

the spen should be smooth at all times with naked screen or screen protector. if it isnt it is junk

Is the HDX just a thicker piece of PET film?
I posted this in another board but thought I would share here also:
I wanted to update if anyone bought the Zagg tempered glass. I did some research online(including here) about the halo effect and called Zagg today. Talked to the customer service rep and she was aware of the issue and told me that they did correct it but had issues so not sending them out yet. She said they are sending a HDX out temporarily until they can send out the corrected tempered glass. So they are not charging me for the HDX (which I will get in 5-7 days) and she said to wait as long as I can and then call back and they will send me a corrected tempered glass when they are ready. Wanted to let people know to call them.

Check out page 170 of the tempered glass thread, a forum member posted a picture that shows the composition of the Zagg HDX. It is not a PET film protector in any manner.
I've been using these ismooth ones, cheap, and they are actually pretty good.

Can't speak yet as to the HDX, but the iloome had lots of bubbles like the PET ones but they were easily removed with the squeegee and microfiber cloth. One nice thing about the glasses. No bubbles and one touch install.

I've used Clarivue screen protectors for my past 3 phones, and they have been the best. Used various screen protectors, from ZAGG to the ones from T-Mobile. None of them compare to the quality of Clarivue. The screen protectors are pretty much invisible and don't feel like plastic like most of the others do. Feels like your still sliding your finger across the glass screen
So check it out guys! I know it's for the O2X but I already ordered them for my G2X since it's the same hardware.
LG P990 Optimus 2X Screen Protector
UPDATE:
Alright guys... So the Clarivue was a bust. Sorry Anyways... disappointed with the Clarivue protectors I looked elsewhere, because I wanted TOTAL FRONT DOMINATION
Feel free to look http://www.bodyguardz.com/t-mobile-g2x-cases-screen-protectors-covers-shields-skins-films.html, best part is that you get 2 sets of protectors
I ordered the FULL BODY protectors... It's a wet apply protector, but has virtually NO orange peel like ZAGG and others do! High reduction in finger smudges also.
What I like most is that it protects the camera lens in the back, and the metal strip. I like the feel of the phone... So I only applied the protector to the Screen, metal strip in the back, and the camera lens... And I must say, I could not be happier!
I may try realook (clear as nothing and it's hard to scratch).

Not a lot to spend to make sure. Gorilla glass is scratch "resistant" not proof.
I'm going to try this one. I hated the Zagg.
I don't believe Realook has made one yet
I don't like the Zagg either. The ones I've tried leave an orange peel effect.
I trust Ghost armor. I have had them in all my phones and their screen protectors are simply the best.

The Clarivue protectors are nearly invisible, and they feel like nothing is there. Not much to give up for some added protection. Gorilla grass is only scratch resistant, but you can damage it

Anybody have a good recommendation for an anti-glare screen protector? I'm not worried about damaging the glass (I always keep my phones in a belt case, not loose in my pocket), but reflections and fingerprints bother me a lot. For my original Nexus One, I surgically altered a Power Support screen protector intended for an iPod Touch, and that was quite good.

Yeah even though it has gorrilla glass 1 or 2, it isn't 100 % scratch resistant. Having it in your pocket with keys etc coins. Pebbles etc, having a screen protector won't change the look of the screen. For under 10 bucks why not? Unless you want a scratch

Tried that Crystal spray on on my phone, did not notice any difference. Phone still got scratched .
I won't be using a Screen protector on the Nexus 9, currently have the tab S 8.4 and i use it without a SP. Screen feels so much better without that plastic on top.
I am not one for film screen protectors, but I do like the glass screen protectors
I guess the good thing about a glass protector for the Nexus 9 is that you don't have to worry about the sunken button effect that you'd get on an ipad.
Are there any for sale yet for the Nexus 9 ?

No idea..... Most likely will not but you never know...
Also the glass screen protector has been shipped as of this morning
I had the same question too.. The only company that claims to have anti-glare coating and a tempered glass screen protector is BodyGuardz. I talked to them earlier and they had no plans to release a Nexus 9 version, nor they have a UK presence.
Also, I havent seen many out yet (which makes sense) but there are a few on amazon. I was wondering if you came across any 'good brand' tempered glass screen protectors I can order now and hopefully will also help in reducing glare.

No halo with my Spigen on my grey Note 4, you did it wrong. Spigen removed it for another reason, not because it doesn't fit.
Not all protectors have this issue. Most of them do since they're not sized properly. The Spigen, Tech Armor and Supershieldz is sized smaller than the screen so they won't leave halos, but they'll leave gaps in coverage.

Must be something wrong with the screen protector. Both edges are perfectly lined up with the screen and so is home button and top area... perhaps this inconsistent result is the reason why spigen decided to remove glas.tr slim sale from amazon and their website I still have two more but not even gonna bother trying. I guess I will wait and see if they release revised version or iloome's CurveProtect technology screen protector.

Reason I ask is a rep at my local corporate AT&T store said it installs w/o a halo. Reading the 7 reviews on Amazon no one is complaining about a halo and at least one reviewer stated it did install w/o a halo. Because the tempered glass protector thread is 288 pages long I'm starting this thread. If you're using this protector how is it for fingerprints/dust?
BTW, I'm not referring to the Crown model just the glass protector itself as described in the Amazon link.

I wasn't very impressed. It did suffer from some (very minor) halo for me, but the worst thing was the edges seemed quite sharp (rather than 2.5D), and it was possible for dust to get trapped in the edges.
