Just flashed to ElementalX-1.3 - good times
Just flashed Xoom 4.1.2 to ElementalX-1.3 . really enjoying the performance boost and overclocking capabilities. Edited build.prop heapgrowthlimit parameter from 48M to 64M in order to load some apps that required more in the java heap. All is well.
ElementalX 2.1 does not want to boot from Recovery(CWM). I called it good by just living with 1.3 - I should be able to run. 2.1 with a wingray JZ054K 4.1.2 right?
EDIT: probably need to do BigPart mod. Duh
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Geoff

Hello. Why can't I find my phone in the phone list? or should I select HTC One X model???
Telstra One Xl Rooting issues
Hi xda,
I'm new to this forum and decided to join after becoming frustrated with an aging HTC One Xl from Telstra and try to put some quicker custom software on it.
I have been following the WinDroid method, which appeared failsafe. I followed the instructions as per posted successfully unlocking bootloader and Flashing recovery but when gaining rooting permissions I ran into trouble.
After the downloading and pushing SuperSu to my phone, it just simply flashed the HTC welcome screen and powered off, it never makes it into recovery.
I couldn't even turn my phone back on for a good 5 mins. I tried to repeat the step but this was unsuccessful.
I'm not sure what has gone wrong or where to go from here? Your help and expertise is appreciated!
Does it work on HTC butterfly s??
WinDroid Universal Android Toolkit
Do I have to have an active internet connection to run WinDroid Universal Android Toolkit? I have downloaded the latest three versions but none will run on my Win 7 laptop. It will not even open, when I try it almost immediately says Windroid Universal Android Toolkit has stopped working....

Hi I would really appreciate if you can help me with an issue i am dealing with for a few days now. I have the HTC Explorer with CM 10 (4.1.2) from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1847002 The Kernel is 3.0.16-pico-kernel-kangbang [email protected] #1 that came with the rom. All works great exept the wifi toggle. The wifi is fine when it boots on but if its switched off in middle, it gets stuck turning back on. It has a lot of random moods, sometimes turning on right away, sometime a few minutes or not at all until reboot. I tried about 20 troubleshooting steps and fixes from all over the web but none of them solve the problem. I tried flashing the kernel to Cranium 3rd build but the phone frone on the HTC logo so i did nandroid restore.
I am also using a mount2sd script to expand the internal space i used this method http://www.hackmyandroid.com/increase-internal-memory-on-htc-explorer-using-mounts2sd-script/5656
I you could please help me i would really appreciate it.
Thanks

I experienced the same problem and resolved it using a task manager to kill all tasks. I use Omich Software's app.
Grant root permission to the app and click clear memory button. It has widgets for a single click clear, as well.
Some app or service should be putting a lock to wireless access or should not be terminating normally. Killing it whatever it is, resolves wireless problem. I'll dig this further when I have time and share if I can find anything useful.
