Boot animation quality is a bit wonky. About to test this build out after it boots!!

Yep its not meant for tablets but I'll figure a way to make the bootanimation better ?

I plan on releasing a dark theme for this and cm12 when its done if anyone is interested

Settings ---> Performance ---> Memory force closes settings. Ive found out this is because the lowmemorykiller files arent getting proper permissions, look at my post in the CM12 thread for details on the fix otherwise a perfectly stable rom! Good work!

Just saw the post, nice find!

I loaded it up and all I had was force closes. I was coming from your KK version to this.
So of course I made a backup on TWRP but when I went to restore it, like an idiot I wiped everything not realizing it was going to wipe the backup as well
Now I have no idea how to get the rom back up since it has no OS. Sigh, like I said I'm an idiot and no way am I blaming you I actually appreciate everything you do for us But can you get me out of this pickle? I have your KK file + gapps on my computer, how do I get it back on this bad boy? Thanks bro.

Oh man sorry to hear that! Plug your kindle while in twrp to your PC and sideload the files, its the easiest way!
Quick instructions: run a terminal command pointing to your SDK/platfrom-tools folder in C: (assuming you have one if not download it from the android site) then run
Adb push "filename.zip" /sdcard
Or
Go to advanced>sideload
Run
Adb sideload "filename.zip" /sdcard
Then flash it from twrp and your good to go!
Btw, when coming from any other ROM or a different android version you should always do a clean wipe and flash, never a dirty flash or you'll get tons of FC's . hope this helps!

What is better about this ROM compared to cm12?

And another thing, which toolchain are you using to build the kernel? I'm using ARM androideabi 4.6,but that doesn't work very nice with Lollipop...

Have you tried Sideloading your zip files? Of course you need the Android SDK installed with ADB fully working. A simple google search on how to do this will help . TWRP has a sideloading feature that will enable you to move files within the recovery (hence already having the mount feature) and flash it. All automated, but of course, you need to type in the commands

Hes using 4.8, i recommend 4.8 or higher for lollipop, maybe even try 4.9.2 although this may require a hack as i had to do it in kitkat, not troed building a kernel for lollipop yet

I wouldn't say better, but different in that it has more customizations, its still based off cm12 ☺

First things first, could have been a bad download! Re download and flash again with the instructions in op. Make sure that you install this on a clean wipe with a backup in case. Go to wipe>advanced and wipe system , data, cache, and dalvik cache, NOT INTERNAL! . then flash again! This should clear that error right up! ???

I don't see a wipe for data, but a "format data" Is this the same thing? thx.

Finally you released it! Thanks!
I followed it on github the last few days and i was really impressed about the project. :good:

Thanks for your good and hard work for our device.
Big thanks too to educk for his great kernels, his great liquidsmooth Rom and all the other developement for our device like bringing us the 3.4 kernel and being part of the ADC Team for such a great developement of the Rom and kernel. :good::highfive:
Greets,
markey
Thank you guys, great to see a new ROM again. I will download and flash it tomorrow.
The privacy guard sounds very interesting
(Want it in CM10.1 by ADC)
Thanks for your work!!!
Was stalking you on the github and waiting for this day.

Yes that is a solution
But it is very strange that it do not occur for me i think it is because i used a version before and flash this over
Nevertheless sorry for the inconvinience i found the mistake and a new version is coming it was just a "," (comma) which was missing
I am very sad that it had such a start because it was hard work to add the features and so on
So hopefully you nevermind

General Information:
This is my continuation of doing AOKP PUB Builds just adapted for the Nexus 7 Flo. PUB (Project Unicorn Butter) aimed to bring Linaro toolchain and other optimizations to the normal AOKP build. My goal is to simply continue these builds providing releases based off current code. Current builds are using the latest (2013.09) release of the 4.8 Toolchain. Builds using O3, strict-aliasing, and other optimizations where applicable.
Releases:
The target will be weekly builds on the weekend with a build during the week only where needed for bug fixes to be merged or some major change we just can't wait for
There are two Release Types
TYPE 1 is your traditional ROM Flashable zip.
You must flash gapps after flashing this ROM as it can not be included in the ROM zip.
Current Gapps: gapps-jb-20130813
Slim Gapps(needed for full Dark UI functionality): Slim Gapps 4.3 DownloadsTYPE 2 is an Aroma Installer that includes the ROM, latest gapps, and many other options. See Post 2 below for further details.More than likely any middle of the week builds will not get rolled into the Aroma.
Kernel:
I am currently building the flo kernel from aokp google/msm source (stock). It is the kernel that will be installed if you just flash this as is. This is a perfectly fine daily driver, should be stable and safe across all devices.
If you are looking for better battery life, better performance during gaming, or even just more control over various settings at the kernel level then feel free to try one of the other great kernels offered for this device. I will not recommend one, I will recommend you try them all and see which works best for you.
Installation:
Download rom zip and gapps
Reboot to recovery
Wipe cache/dalvik (full wipe when needed)
Flash rom
Flash gapps
Reboot

You can get inverted applications in multiple ways. First I'd recommend going to System Settings and flipping the switch for Dark AOKP.
This will invert many of the core Gapps for you. For any other applications you may want inverted, there are two great threads that will make this trivial for you:
Midnight Gapps Project
Team BlackOut
Thanks:
- faux123 for his kernel included in this aroma.
- Tk-Glitch for his kernel included in this aroma.
- amarullz for aroma itself and the continued updates
- the great boot animations by thor6577, be sure to check his thread for more!
Thanks, downloading, will report back when flashed.
Update: Really stable so far, and smooth, gonna try the Aroma one later, thanks!
:good: Thanks, i'm waiting for Aroma Link, It still not up yet i think. :good:
Finally, and it's nice too see the kernel built from aosp which means no cm drama recently.
Unfortunately it also breaks the compatibility with custom kernels like latest cm nightlies did, blue screen on boot.

This sounds great. going to have to try it. I will assume that the posted build has the broken user profiles as this has been broken in AOKP source(at least on flo but maybe other devices) since Sep 29th. I will wait until this issue is fixed in AOKP source before trying this rom as i need user profiles.
Psyched that you finally made it over here Mr. R! :good:
Can't wait to give this beast a go. Only thing left is for Morfic to bring his uberness to the kernel world for Flo/Deb.
It's been a while since I've seen you in the S3 section, nice to see you here as well. If we are already on another AOKP rom do you think we could dirty-flash this or is it different enough that we should do a full wipe?
the Aroma download link doesnt work.

I dirty flashed from stock and had a process.acore.whatever keep crashing. I cleared contacts storage data/cache and force stopped it and haven't seen it since. Should be fine but if you see weird issues don't post them here until you try a clean flash, that's all I ask.

I don't really play with user profiles so not sure exactly what is "broken". However clicking on users did give me the process.acore has stopped message and clearing contacts storage data and cache made that go away. I can create a user profile just fine in my quick little test.

Seems to be a fix in their gerrit or at least an attempt to address. I'll include it next time and try it out.

Any chance of seeing a "OneAromaToBindThem" for Flo, with all of the Aroma goodies but without the AOKP ROM itself? Loved having this toolbox for flashing various ROMs on my Grouper. (Yes, I know I could just download the full Aroma, but space is at a premium on my internal storage.)

ugh... so many things to maintain... And since I'll no longer include inverts there would really just be kernels and apps right?
I feel like its a waste to have the inverts as the thread I link to in the OP keeps them updated and honestly once TRDS got good I rarely even flash another inverted app now. Is there something else you used it for that I'm missing?

BlissStalk has all the features you crave, compiled into one rom for a truly blissful experience.
BlissStalk is CM11 based, with a ton of features added in.
The original source for BlissStalk came from BeanStalk rom built by Scott.Hart.Bti.
A huge thanks to him for the source, and all the work he has done to develop the rom.
Also thanks to Slim Rom, and Derteufels, where a lot of the additional code came from,
& to everyone involved with CM as that is the foundation of this project.

time to be able to give Android users a custom rom packed with features that will make a lasting impression.
We will keep up to date with the latest CM code, and updates will be posted on a regular basis.
However, please do not ask for ETA's. We will update the links as soon as they become available.

Well, I guess I will crack flash another rom lol Thanks!!!
Anyone having issues dl this rom? Ive tried 4 times now... first one was only 50mb so i knew that was wrong... then the ones after were all under 70mb... Should be around 225mb or so....
It's 225 and flashed fine for me. It's a great ROM and I was able to use the NE 1 modem and still have data. That hasn't been the case with several other Roms. Bluetooth in my car is also clearer when talking on the phone.
Took me a little bit to download it as well but eventually got it. Only problem I am having is not being able to change the camera resolution to a lower megapixel force closes right when I try. Everything seems to work pretty good though very nice work.
After A Few Days Of Using This ROM...
Hello and Good Morning All.
First, I would like to thank all the individuals that's involved in this project. :good:
Now, I know it has only been a few days using this ROM, but I must say this ~ "This ROM has most of the features I like (and then some) and it runs well on my Galaxy S III. You guys have done a great job!!! :highfive: I will continue to use this ROM as my 'daily driver' and (if any) report any issues as they come.
Questions ~ Is this ROM available for the Sprint (Girlfriend's) mobile device? and what is the safest way to ROOT the Sprint mobile device to flash a 'Recovery' and this ROM?
Questions pertaining to my Galaxy S III ~ How can I reset the 'Custom Binary Download: Yes (12 counts)' to 0 counts? Also, I keep seeing 'Swipe notification to float' and 'Would you like to swipe left to open apps in floating window?' when trying to swipe away all or the individual running Apps. What exactly DO this do?
Thank you in advance for your prompt response.

I can't answer the Sprint question, but you can use Triangle Away to reset your counter and system status to official.....if you need the apk, pm me and I will get it to you. As far as the swipe goes, when you get a notification and you swipe left on the notification, it will open up that app in a floating window. I haven't tried this rom yet, but I would check in the settings to see if you can disable it if you don't want it to pop up.
Very Good Rom
Very good rom been using it for about 2 days now, only have foreclose once in a while which is probably, due to app problem.
speaker sound good, good Bluetooth in car, only minor problem might be 4.4.4 problem is that audio in call recorder is not clear.
I use another app to solve that.
only issue is sometime halo launcher foreclose, even thou i'm using nova launcher, and locker screen icon is off by one line when choosing the lock screen icon other then that very good and it's my daily driver.
thanks again for your hard work.
I love seeing new rom's and really appreciate the time people put into them.. I really do. One question. I used stalk a while back, it was one of my favorites next to slim at the time. Until they added more and more options.. I mean with that many options why does one need Xposed too? This rom seems very similar according to the listing in the OP..
To each their own totally. And again I appreciate your work and taking the time to make another rom for the sgs3 which hasn't slowed down as much as I thought it might. So again, thanks.. But Just wondering about all the above.. You have PA pie and Slim pie. Why both? Just wondering.. Again, please take this as a question because I'm certainly not trying to be disrespectful.
Very Truly Yours.

Hello 'Chiadrum'.
I suggest starting fresh ~ Boot into Recovery (I use TWRP), Do a Backup, Wipe Dalvik/System/Data/Internal Storage/Cache (3x), Do a Factory Reset (3x), Flash the Rom (Bliss Stalk), Flash the Recommended GApps, and then Restart into the 'System'. After the Rom loads successfully then continue through the Setup Process. :good:
The steps stated/listed above worked for me and I have NO issues to date. :highfive:
P.S. ~ Hope this helps!! :fingers-crossed:

Hello Again. You really DO NOT have an SDCard (16 GB or More)? I suggest you invest in one. Especially if you plan on flashing Roms, Recoveries, and so forth. The instructions giving was based on you having the necessary flashable 'files' on the external memory.
I do apologize for assuming.

Hello 'Sidthekid28'.
I am currently on ML1 and recently flashed the 'BMS Kernel' (To improve battery). I am also on TWRP. :highfive:
I must say this ~ You will be very happy with this Rom. I have been running it since it hit XDA and loving it! The updates will only improve the Rom. :good:
Anyway... Follow the steps in this OP or what I have stated prior to another person. Remember to 'backup your current status' before doing anything.

This rom was compiled by me, Scott.Hart.bti has done the real work!
I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM builds and i have added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

Still couldn't download gapps here straight to phone. Will try PC and transfer.
Thanks for your hard work.

Are you restoring ANY apps? If so do NOT restore anything. Try N run it with fresh clean installs of everything. You may have an app or 2 that is causing the bad lag "IF" this is the case?

I think I found the issue. Follow my other thread here and use the recommended gapps http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3023846
This rom is compiled with the 4.7 linaro tool chain so I believe running gapps compiled from the same or similar will help. Forgive me but I don't usually flash gapps but once I did in this device I knew instantly what your lag issues were. My cm12 thread had users that point to which gapps to use exactly but the link in the op takes you to a selection of said gapps. Good luck!

Did a clean install with philz touch 6.0.4.5 recovery then rebooted back into recovery and restored data. The gapps in my data are pa gapps modular micro 5.0.1 beta5 12252015.
Running smooth with no lag at all, still have to test Bluetooth with my wireless speaker

So far only the FM Radio is not working and some toggles in the notification drawer such as the flash light and the hotspot options and other... Very good performance till now. Will report again. Thanks for the rom!
Oh and also there is not a option to change the capacitive buttons for example the menu with recent apps switcher ( i know that i can with xposed)...
Facebook app and FB messenger not working!
Solution by mshoaib7:
-Rename libsslx.so to libsslx.so.bak
-Path for fb app data/data/com.facebook.katana/lib-xzs/libsslx.so
-For Messenger data/data/com.facebook.orca/lib-xzs/libsslx.so

For hotspot option to appear in QS :we have to switch on the hotspot once .Then it will get appeared.
I didn't post it on XDA due the sim card bug. Yes this one also has it. But if you guys are using it do tell me how frequent it is on this one and OP you need to update the kernel source link https://github.com/lenovo-Kraft-T/android_kernel_lenovo_msm8916/tree/cm-13.0
For the sim bug ,i have a solution ,no need to reboot.
Don't use the device after some seconds(>20) of boot .It will automatically detect both the sims. MM roms take time to detect sim.

At the first boot it the default first time setup wizard i had to skeep the mobile data activator because the rom wasn't able to recognize the sim card, but after that i didn't even have to reboot and the sim was recognized. I have rebooted the phone several times and haven't experienced it yet. I will report tommorow for more detailed overview.
Best Kraft MM ROM I've tried to date.
Stable, great performance, no bugs found yet besides 2 very slight ones.
Switching Themes causes:
1. The first drag-down of the notification panel makes it offset to the side, but only once.
2. System UI has a chance to crash afterwards while opening an app.
Screenshots of both:

Oh, and as you can see from the 2nd screenshot, totally compatible with God's Kernel R2 and working phenomenally.

No problems in general, really.
Edit: Yeah, there is an audio routing problem bypassable with this app.
The installation sequence was.
(The Recovery i used was TWRP 3.0.2.0
1. Full Wipe (Sys/Data/Cache/ART-Dalvik)
2. Install Beanstalk
3. Install GApps
4. Install God's Kernel
5. Reboot
Note: All of the zips were installed over Sideload, this shouldn't be important or relevant to the installation, but i thought I'd give as much detail. After a while i also flashed xposed fw and it works just fine. That's all i can tell you at this moment.
Extra: I noticed that it will sometimes (but extreeeeemelly rarely (twice in 3 days) soft-reboot by itself. As well as the External SD-Card not having right permissions, so the stock CM File Manager can't access it, i suggest using a 3rd party one (FX File Explorer did the trick, personally).

The battery life after a full day of on mobile network.
Using Gods Kernel R2.
I faced very heavy battery drain and overheating. In idle with vattery saving mod on for 40 minutes from 15% to 4%. The phone was very very hot!

Use God's Kernel R1. R2 has some issues which keeps the cpu frequency high
Seems like I can't get access to my files in phone via computer. ROM just automatically switching to charging only mode, any ideas what I can do?
