Team Bliss is pleased to present to you BlissStalk Rom - (BOSP)
One of the most highly customizable roms that you can install on your mobile device.
BlissStalk has all the features you crave, compiled into one rom for a truly blissful experience.
BlissStalk is CM11 based, with a ton of features added in.
The original source for BlissStalk came from BeanStalk rom built by Scott.Hart.Bti.
A huge thanks to him for the source, and all the work he has done to develop the rom.
Also thanks to Slim Rom, and Derteufels, where a lot of the additional code came from,
& to everyone involved with CM as that is the foundation of this project.
Team Bliss is a team consisting of developers and device maintainers that work on this project in our spare
time to be able to give Android users a custom rom packed with features that will make a lasting impression.
We will keep up to date with the latest CM code, and updates will be posted on a regular basis.
However, please do not ask for ETA's. We will update the links as soon as they become available.
We will not tolerate any rudeness or anyone being disrespectful in this thread.
We will do our best to answer your questions or concerns as soon as possible.

Well, I guess I will crack flash another rom lol Thanks!!!

Anyone having issues dl this rom? Ive tried 4 times now... first one was only 50mb so i knew that was wrong... then the ones after were all under 70mb... Should be around 225mb or so....

It's 225 and flashed fine for me. It's a great ROM and I was able to use the NE 1 modem and still have data. That hasn't been the case with several other Roms. Bluetooth in my car is also clearer when talking on the phone.

Took me a little bit to download it as well but eventually got it. Only problem I am having is not being able to change the camera resolution to a lower megapixel force closes right when I try. Everything seems to work pretty good though very nice work.

After A Few Days Of Using This ROM...
Hello and Good Morning All.
First, I would like to thank all the individuals that's involved in this project. :good:
Now, I know it has only been a few days using this ROM, but I must say this ~ "This ROM has most of the features I like (and then some) and it runs well on my Galaxy S III. You guys have done a great job!!! :highfive: I will continue to use this ROM as my 'daily driver' and (if any) report any issues as they come.
Questions ~ Is this ROM available for the Sprint (Girlfriend's) mobile device? and what is the safest way to ROOT the Sprint mobile device to flash a 'Recovery' and this ROM?
Questions pertaining to my Galaxy S III ~ How can I reset the 'Custom Binary Download: Yes (12 counts)' to 0 counts? Also, I keep seeing 'Swipe notification to float' and 'Would you like to swipe left to open apps in floating window?' when trying to swipe away all or the individual running Apps. What exactly DO this do?
Thank you in advance for your prompt response.

I can't answer the Sprint question, but you can use Triangle Away to reset your counter and system status to official.....if you need the apk, pm me and I will get it to you. As far as the swipe goes, when you get a notification and you swipe left on the notification, it will open up that app in a floating window. I haven't tried this rom yet, but I would check in the settings to see if you can disable it if you don't want it to pop up.

Very Good Rom
Very good rom been using it for about 2 days now, only have foreclose once in a while which is probably, due to app problem.
speaker sound good, good Bluetooth in car, only minor problem might be 4.4.4 problem is that audio in call recorder is not clear.
I use another app to solve that.
only issue is sometime halo launcher foreclose, even thou i'm using nova launcher, and locker screen icon is off by one line when choosing the lock screen icon other then that very good and it's my daily driver.
thanks again for your hard work.

I love seeing new rom's and really appreciate the time people put into them.. I really do. One question. I used stalk a while back, it was one of my favorites next to slim at the time. Until they added more and more options.. I mean with that many options why does one need Xposed too? This rom seems very similar according to the listing in the OP..
To each their own totally. And again I appreciate your work and taking the time to make another rom for the sgs3 which hasn't slowed down as much as I thought it might. So again, thanks.. But Just wondering about all the above.. You have PA pie and Slim pie. Why both? Just wondering.. Again, please take this as a question because I'm certainly not trying to be disrespectful.
Very Truly Yours.

Hello 'Chiadrum'.
I suggest starting fresh ~ Boot into Recovery (I use TWRP), Do a Backup, Wipe Dalvik/System/Data/Internal Storage/Cache (3x), Do a Factory Reset (3x), Flash the Rom (Bliss Stalk), Flash the Recommended GApps, and then Restart into the 'System'. After the Rom loads successfully then continue through the Setup Process. :good:
The steps stated/listed above worked for me and I have NO issues to date. :highfive:
P.S. ~ Hope this helps!! :fingers-crossed:

Haha well I blindly followed your suggestion to the letter and ended up with no OS! A bit too much wiping.(I guess Internal Storage killed my OS?)Let's see if Odin back to stock takes care of the problem.
Thanks for the feedback though-

Hello Again. You really DO NOT have an SDCard (16 GB or More)? I suggest you invest in one. Especially if you plan on flashing Roms, Recoveries, and so forth. The instructions giving was based on you having the necessary flashable 'files' on the external memory.
I do apologize for assuming.

Hello 'Sidthekid28'.
I am currently on ML1 and recently flashed the 'BMS Kernel' (To improve battery). I am also on TWRP. :highfive:
I must say this ~ You will be very happy with this Rom. I have been running it since it hit XDA and loving it! The updates will only improve the Rom. :good:
Anyway... Follow the steps in this OP or what I have stated prior to another person. Remember to 'backup your current status' before doing anything.
Have fun flashing!! :fingers-crossed:

UPDATE: 10/06/2012: Please use the ISSUE TRACKER to report issues, features, enhancements:
https://code.google.com/p/embryo-rom/issues/list
PLEASE READ POST #1 (THIS POST) AND POST #120, POST #138, Post #251, Post #986 BEFORE YOU FLASH...NOTE I HAVE NOT LISTED ALL THE FEATURES YET (THERE ARE TOO MANY), I WILL COMPLETE THE LIST AS I FIND TIME. SEARCH FOR MY POSTS IN THIS THREAD, YOU WILL FIND THE ANSWERS.
Introduction
EMBRYO 5.X is based of Official Samsung ATT ICS Release build UCLF6. And that is where the similarity ends! This is a Daily Driver ROM, so if you looking for SOD, instability there are after market ROM's available that will give you that , flash this ROM if you are looking for a fully functional, with gazillion customizations and stablility. My goal is to make the stable official release completely configurable and customizable.
All EMBRYO features from earlier releases are incorporated, with new ones added to 5.0. And for the first time ever for the TouchWiz ROM's, a ROM Customzier!! As of 5.4 most of the customization that are generally available in after market ROMS (CM, AOKP, <insert your favorite kang>) has been exposed via ROMCustomizer.
FEATURES AND CHANGELOGI will list features by category so you have an idea. I will highlight the changes when an update happens.
5.4 CHANGES
• Please read post #986.
5.3 CHANGES
• Added new category "System Tweaks" in ROMCustomizer.

• Moved AdBlock control to (Misc. System Tweaks)

• More to list...
•
ROM Customizer
Introducing ROM Customizer. After looking around I have settled on the AOKP ROM Manager as the foundational source (thanks to Team AOKP), but make no mistake, it is NOT AOKP, it is still TouchWiz at core.
• Toggle for Switching between AOSP and Stock (Circle) Lockscreen.
• Toggle for Hiding Carrier Label
• Clock Customization (None, Right, Center). For center clock, you notifications icons must be small.
• Toggle for Volume keys to wake up screen.
• Toggle for Input Method (IME). IME Switcher
• Toggle for CRT-OFF animation.
• Toggle for Gallery 3D Full Crop.
• Toggle for Bypassing ALL exchange security policies (disables remote wipe to boot ).
UCLF6 BugFixes
• Enabled Power + Vol. Down Screenshot capture. Need that..
User Interface
• As people know I like to keep the Stock Theme. So it is, pretty much stock. I have added some SGS3 icons. Brought the ICS holo theme colors to all the StatusBar icons.
Launchers
Two launchers come bundled with ROM, the stock TouchWiz 30 launcher (i.e. the one in the Official Rom) and SGS 3 Launcher (Shows up as GalaxySIII launcher).
• [TW30Launcer] 5 icon dock. 5x5 App Drawer. 5x5 Workspace/Home Screen.
• [TW30Launcer] Scrolling Wallpaper Support.
Dialer
• Toggle for Noise Suppression.
• Toggle for Ascending RingTone.
• Toggle for Exit to Home on End Call (someone wanted this feature, sorry forgot the name).
Networks
• Full Support for Native Tethering. Should work flawlessly and all customization via Settings will work.
• Enabled Preferred Network Mode Setting. 2G only Setting. REQUIRES SIM UNLOCK and RAT Unlocked Radio.
A CRAP LOAD OF FEATURES, I will update as soon as I find more time..You can discover it yourself..
Installation (Full ROM, Data Wipe, Format System required)
Please follow the installation instruction EXACTLY, do NOT try to be cute and throw away whatever you have been doing before (like foolishly doing 3x cache etc.). I have tested the installation against the sk8 recovery here (version 6.0.1.2 v11 to be precise). If you FC' reboot after installation, that is NOT a good sign, I cannot possibly support all the possible recoveries out there.
ALL INSTALLATION STEPS IN POST #3
DOWNLOAD Please download all parts, you can always UNINSTALL, and customize the debloat to suite your needs, as I have moved most of them to data partition, so a simple uninstall from the launcher of your choice.
EMBRYO-5.0 (FULL ROM) Download links
Please download all of them just in case, you need them. Click on the "Show Content" box for the links.
• 01-EMBRYO-5.0-base.zip. [REQUIRED] Base ROM, required. If you just install this, not all settings will work (like wallpapers etc..)

• {STEP 1A} IF there are any updates or patches to the ROM download them now.
• {STEP 2} Move the above files to your internal or external SD card (touch recovery has the option to install from external sdcard, do what your recovery can do).
• {STEP 3A} Go to "mounts and storage". Select "Format /system". Follow the screens to format it.
• {STEP 3B} Go to "mounts and storage". Select "Format /data". Follow the screens to format it.
• {STEP 3C} Go to "mounts and storage". Select "Format /cache". Follow the screens to format it.
(NOTE: STEP 3B and STEP 3C can *also* be done by "wipe data/cache partition" option in the first menu).
• {STEP 4} Now, you are ready. Please go to where you downloaded the "base" or the first part of the ROM, select it and proceed to INSTALL. This is required. The file should be 01-EMBRYO-5.0-base.zip.
• {STEP 5} Now, you are ready to install the "data" pack. 02-EMBRYO-5.0-data.zip. (DONT REBOOT YET)
• {STEP 5A} Install any updates (DONT REBOOT YET), IF AVAILABLE, See the DOWNLOADS Section. (e.g. you can apply 5.2 and then 5.3)
• {STEP 6} [OPTIONAL] If you want ATT/Samsung Bloat, install the third zip. 03-EMBRYO-5.0.zip.
• {STEP 6A} [OPTIONAL] You can directly apply any EMBRYO updates (such as 5.2) now..
• {STEP 7} Reboot, Please make sure to let it sit for 15 minutes. It will install all the applications (you will see a progress indicator), do NOT touch or interact with the device. Patience is a virtue.
• {STEP 8} At this point you will be greeted with two launchers. Galaxy SIII and the stock TouchWiz 3.0 launcher. Pick one..
• {STEP 9} I would recommend, immediately opening SuperSU (it should prompt for a Updating the binary, hit yes and continue).
• Enjoy!!

a daily driver is just a term used for a rom that fits all of your day-to-day needs (phone calls, texting, camera..etc.) and mohan always tests his roms before releasing them so this is definetley daily driver status

Thanks..I am on travel next three days, hence wanted to get this out. I will keep updating the OP. Please look at the Known Issues before posting.
And, I will add the Kernel Tweaks, LED control and Voltage control. If I have time Gov's tweaks too..that should end all debates about Sammy ROMS not having the features .
Also, shout out to any themers out there, if you wish to get in touch with me I can tell you what to watch out for..and I will glady give space in Post #1 for inclusion.
EDIT: ScreenShots are coming see Second Post...

there in the op but his work is pretty much stock not alot of heavy theming like sky ics
I tried Embryo awhile back, but have always liked your work. I am coming from Sean's rom, and am very anxious to try this rom out. So far I am digging it. Very nice looking, very smooth. Very slim, I like the lack of bloat. What bloat do you have available in the 3rd download? Thanks for the work.
GApps
So does gapps come with mohan's ROM's? Or which one is comptabile if it doesn't - 0726 or 0811?
I have recently bought a skyrocket and havent messed with custom roms yet. but surely looking for a daily driver. Not a flashoholic by any means (not to say what might happen in a few months).
ROM looks good, stability looks good. Thanks!

Now I use AOSP 4.4.3. I would have liked a good CM11 ROM for ZP980 but it seems that going to last until I find one that will be stable.
Good luck in development
Latest update.
Overall its pretty stable. I do get some SystemUI issues, but it usually recovers from that. Overall, its pretty usable for me as a day to day ROM.
I think there is an issue with the default lockscreen. I had major systemui issues when I clicked on a notification. I'm using Dashclock now, as that is my standard lockscreen.
Do you want me to create a thread in needrom, but its maybe better if you do it, as then you can add your Paypal address to get donations
I'm running this since 4pm yesterday, so its pretty OK so far..

I havent had any of those problems. I find the WiFi pretty fast actually. Never any IMEI issues. Did you reboot after first install as was recommended?
@Semper80: Did you restore apps via Titanium Backup, because, I had issues if I restored system app data (e.g. clock alarms, calendar storage). I had no issues if I restored regular apps with their data, but restoring system data causes major issues. I was coming from the Paolo ROM on needrom, so thats to be expected as that is default KK, and this is a completely modified KK.
Also, what gapps did you install? I installed the CM11 - 20140606 gapps from here, and everything is OK, with regards to gapps..

That sucks. I did not experience those issue myself.
Did you restore apps via some other method, or you had reboots as soon as you booted the phone on the first install?
I have a Zopo C2. I dont think there is any difference between the C2 and the ZP980 that should cause these issues for you...
Zopo 980 and C2 have different lcd manufacturer(980 has Sharp lcd),and C2 has 4GB internal versus 16GB of 980,other than that are the same.
I have done 2 flashes of this rom, with different procedure than the recommended but haven't lost IMEI,maybe it just happened.
TWRP 2.8.0.0,this rom 1.3.7 and GAPPS CM11 - 20140606 installed
Bugs I have found.
Cannot set on or off sims at will, although it seems to change it they remain active all the time.Only at boot if i don't enter the pin in the sim I don't want active, but then it doesn't activate although it shows it is.
Cannot set custom wallpaper, only the stock ones.
Cannot change effect setting in the launcher, says that Trebuchet has stopped.
Reboot in recovery does not work.
In sms i could write only by replying from a existing one or by going to contacts, after a second wipe it seems to work normal.
At calls it doesn't ring no matter what ringtone I select,to work I have to set it in every contact manually.
At quick setting My location icon stays always on even if it is off, button works, icon doesn't update properly I think.
3G works only on Sim 1,on Sim 2 changes immediately at 2G.
That's for now afi1982.
My opinion for this Rom is that is fast, most of the time very smooth, minor lags only, loud loudspeaker at speech, insane settings, with little fine tuning/bug fixing will be excellent.
I am coming from Paolo KitKat rom, very fast stable rom but had problem with low volume when using phone's loudspeaker only at speech, and I am using that very much at my work.
.....waiting for new version and continue testing.
I tryed to install it again but same problems. My phone is Zopo ZP980 1,5Ghz, RAM: 2GB, EMMC: 32Gb. What's wrong?! Other ROMs work well.

This rom was compiled by me, Scott.Hart.bti has done the real work!
I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM builds and i have added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

This rom is compiled with the 4.7 linaro tool chain so I believe running gapps compiled from the same or similar will help. Forgive me but I don't usually flash gapps but once I did in this device I knew instantly what your lag issues were. My cm12 thread had users that point to which gapps to use exactly but the link in the op takes you to a selection of said gapps. Good luck!

Fc every 5 to 10 mins, goes from smooth pages scrolling to page pushing.
Camera good on 720 but borked on 1080 video.
I did complete clean install w/philz and pa gapps micro 20150221

Attention to ALL NOOBS. this is how how you report bugs and give your feedback. Good job Steve.
Did a clean install with philz touch 6.0.4.5 recovery then rebooted back into recovery and restored data. The gapps in my data are pa gapps modular micro 5.0.1 beta5 12252015.
Running smooth with no lag at all, still have to test Bluetooth with my wireless speaker
P.S. loving the double tap to sleep on the Nav bar

So far only the FM Radio is not working and some toggles in the notification drawer such as the flash light and the hotspot options and other... Very good performance till now. Will report again. Thanks for the rom!
Oh and also there is not a option to change the capacitive buttons for example the menu with recent apps switcher ( i know that i can with xposed)...
Facebook app and FB messenger not working!
Solution by mshoaib7:
-Rename libsslx.so to libsslx.so.bak
-Path for fb app data/data/com.facebook.katana/lib-xzs/libsslx.so
-For Messenger data/data/com.facebook.orca/lib-xzs/libsslx.so

For hotspot option to appear in QS :we have to switch on the hotspot once .Then it will get appeared.
I didn't post it on XDA due the sim card bug. Yes this one also has it. But if you guys are using it do tell me how frequent it is on this one and OP you need to update the kernel source link https://github.com/lenovo-Kraft-T/android_kernel_lenovo_msm8916/tree/cm-13.0
For the sim bug ,i have a solution ,no need to reboot.
Don't use the device after some seconds(>20) of boot .It will automatically detect both the sims. MM roms take time to detect sim.

At the first boot it the default first time setup wizard i had to skeep the mobile data activator because the rom wasn't able to recognize the sim card, but after that i didn't even have to reboot and the sim was recognized. I have rebooted the phone several times and haven't experienced it yet. I will report tommorow for more detailed overview.
Best Kraft MM ROM I've tried to date.
Stable, great performance, no bugs found yet besides 2 very slight ones.
Switching Themes causes:
1. The first drag-down of the notification panel makes it offset to the side, but only once.
2. System UI has a chance to crash afterwards while opening an app.
Screenshots of both:

No problems in general, really.
Edit: Yeah, there is an audio routing problem bypassable with this app.
The installation sequence was.
(The Recovery i used was TWRP 3.0.2.0
1. Full Wipe (Sys/Data/Cache/ART-Dalvik)
2. Install Beanstalk
3. Install GApps
4. Install God's Kernel
5. Reboot
Note: All of the zips were installed over Sideload, this shouldn't be important or relevant to the installation, but i thought I'd give as much detail. After a while i also flashed xposed fw and it works just fine. That's all i can tell you at this moment.
Extra: I noticed that it will sometimes (but extreeeeemelly rarely (twice in 3 days) soft-reboot by itself. As well as the External SD-Card not having right permissions, so the stock CM File Manager can't access it, i suggest using a 3rd party one (FX File Explorer did the trick, personally).

I guess there is nothing wrong in reading facts!
-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps and BitGappps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in the beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with the latest security patches and new features.
-Adaway is not working
->Download it from here Adaway
-SElinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.
->Everything is good with the sources. You should try other things first and then contact your maintainer.

well, first of all you should start from the wiki of the microg project to get an understanding of what it is and how it works.
after that i suggest you to check nanodroid and its detailed documentation. this is probably the easiest way to get started on most roms and it's very well configured so, not only works mostly out of the box, but also has some "features" useful for beginners.
Instagram and Whatsapp's videos problems
I know they are tagged as "not working" and "can't be fixed" but can I have some clues on why they are not working?
Even some links would be welcome!
Just want to know if it's indeed not fixable or if I may help with it some way
Thanks in advance!

It's an issue of the hardware all devices with these cpu's have this issue (msm8226-8610-8974) except the nexus 5,the devs from What I got they already know the cause of the error but haven't been able to do anything, they even tried porting fixes from the nexus 5 with no results
Best Pei ROM (so far).
But, Hotspot not working.
How to reproduce:
1. Open bar navigation.
2. Click in "Mobile data".
3. Click in "Hotspot".
Puf... in two seconds is disabled again.
For me most fluid launcher in Pie builds, fluid like previously used AOSP Extended V4.6 (7.1.2). But for me one problem:
- Video recording hangs up the camera app

App drawer bobbing up and down!
First of all: Many thanks to the developers for giving me the bang up to date Android release (Pie) to my 5 year old phone!
Why does the app drawer (at the bottom of the home screen) keep bobbing up and down until I touch it? I find it mega annoying!
