Exfat or fat32 formatted wase?
Not sure if this does exfat yet, could be wrong there though
sent from Canada via my Note 4, 3 or 2.

exfat, unfortunately...any way to make it work, or do I have to format the card to fat 32..PITA, since I have to get all my files off the card, and my windows pc wont see exfat, unless I format it first..

Sorry bro probably..i havent flashed this yet waiting for a long ass upload to finish. grab a spare sd and do a quick format to fat and check in case im wrong though..no sense transferring everything otherwise
Once i get this flashed ill post..all my cards are fat 32
I use a program called EaseUs partition master on my pc...it will see anything and formats better than the stock stuff.its great
sent from Canada via my Note 4, 3 or 2

I'm just gonna move all my stuff off the card, format it in my pc to fat 32, and then load it back up and flash this; might as well, since EVERY rom works when you have a card with fat 32, correct?

If you tried to use TB - before you enabled Root Access - Apps and ADB - you have to reboot - I have flashed SuperSU as Superuser is a WIP - I was able to grant Superuser access for a few apps - Then it stopped working for me - So for the time being - Flash SuperSU

It's the same SuperSU zip file that I flashed on my phone - I uploaded to my Dropbox directly from my SD card - Don't know why something would say anything about a virus???

maybe its a gmail thing, i was emailing the file to myself.

Thanks!
Looking forward 2 it.......
Looks like the site is down......any Mirror Links ???
Brilliant work!
Couple of initial issues:
Gingerbread Launcher does not work for me. The first ROM I customised only had this Launcher selected. I had to rebuild the ROM with an additional launcher in order to see the Home screen at all.
Trying to download Titanium Backup to restore other apps but get error stating insufficient space. Manage Applications shows 169MB available. Have tried reflashing and have also wiped data and davlik cache. Any ideas?

Have gone back to Kyrillos' 10.5 but am now getting the same insufficient space errors. Will likely flash back from ODIN and try again but would still be interested in what caused this in the first place.
Thanks for the quick response.

Flashing now. I'll let you know in a couple minutes.
EDIT: So I was able to recreate the bug. I'll soon be uploading 3.1 and also updating the kitchen as it has a small syntax bug.
EDIT 2: As for the insufficient storage, I have not been able to recreate this yet.
Alrighty. Everyone needs to update.
Just choose Option 13 and the update will begin!
Changelog is located on www.acidhazardrom.com
Gingerbread Launcher working now with 3.1
Still getting insufficient space errors so will go back to ODIN and work my way back up to this ROM again.
BTW Firefox Force Closes, though this was my experience when trying the apk from other sources too.

If Firefox doesn't work from any sources, I'll go ahead and remove it.
Doing more testing, I've found that QuickPic doesn't launch. I have that fixed.
Also, if doing a factory reset, you get the weird menu at the beginning. Fixed that too.
Now I just need to fix Firefox, if possible, and I'll roll out another update. Possibly today.
As for insufficient storage, I installed a bunch of apps from the market and it worked fine. I don't know what went wrong there.
EDIT: Firefox not working from any sources confirmed. Removing that option from the kitchen.
Confirmed that QuickPic doesn't launch
Been awaiting this kitchen! Always found it easy to make my own rom and not to mention in a way . Will try to find some time to try this kitchen and report bugs
Cheers

Awesome job and awesome rom vo-1..!!

Youth version reuploaded, battery fixed!
I am having problems with this rom, i have followed the development of this rom, i have flashed multiple versions of the youth rom, and the elite version.
Sometimes at the first boot, it would say "phone memory corrupted, please format"
And sometimes, after a while of using it, it would suddenly freeze, or show a black screen, and if i then pull the battery to make it respond, the whole phone would have reset itself to a few days ago, meaning i lost installed apps of the past few days, whatsapp chat history, pictures taken which are on my sd card!
If anyone could help me fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated!

a tutorial or something like that, dunno what you are talking about tbh.
Coloros worked with the volume buttons
Edit: I found a tutorial that explains how to do it, but my skills don't go that far to compile it.

Ahhh ok , cuz i read ur comment just now so , im sorry
I have been doing some research about important backup of samsung files so I found that backup of EFS is very important because it's folder contains
Phone-specific information such as the IMEI, wireless devices MAC addresses, product code, and much more. If this thing not handled properly, can turn your device completely useless as it will no longer be recognized by your carrier.
Problem is, flashing custom ROMs sometime can corrupt contains within EFS folder. That’s why backing up EFS folder is very important if you love to flash new ROM.

So I will include that as backup option.
Also same thing with modem looking at twrp github for samsung devices so I will add that to. And my opinion maybe not wise but I think that recovery also need to be included in backup.
That's my 5 cents
Anyone to back me up or to add 5 cents more
Nice work!
Keep it up

everything looks fine.. touch screen working, but I haven't touched any feature aside from reboot to system which was working
but i believe everything should be working fine

I don't know. I rooted my phone before twrp but as I recall twrp detect that phone is not rooted and it should install su binary and apk after confirmation and restart.
Btw is it possible to add aroma file manager or something else in TWRP as permanently feature just like in CWM?

Rules -
1. I WILL NOT be keeping your PM or your email address anywhere once you have been added to the share, i WILL be respecting privacy so I expect the same in return.
2. I WILL however, be creating a google doc (probably in each rom folder) to signify by XDA username only who is in the share. (This is for a couple reasons, 1 - because I can keep track of who I have added to the share, 2 - people can see if they have been added or not to the share to either remind, 3 - It keeps people accountable when their, somewhat, online identity is linked to something.)
3. Do NOT spam me with PM's if I dont get to add you within a day. I am very active on the forums due to mobile access, but to add to the share I will need to be at home. If you have not been added and see your username in the google doc after 2 days, politely PM me again.
4. If you do not use the below template (as it has all the information I will be requiring on my end to add you), You wont be added (so 2 days will pass, you wont see your name or a rom and then check the info u sent me).
5. First download for yourself is going to be rather big (about 4 roms worth). I want to keep atleast a couple roms in the share so that if something is wrong, I can pull a download or whatever at it will not affect anything to severely.
6. You will not have any access to modify or delete the files. I am the owner and you guys will only be able to download/view (which is all you need).
Okay so how can you let me know your in.
First PM me using this template:
XDA Username -
Email (google drive account) -
Rom -
Devices (some have more than one) -
I will add you to the share, I will add you to the local google doc, you will get a device folder and your files will start to sync locally to your PC.
Couple quick FAQ's
How do you know when a new rom is on the share?
You could check it manually, I also was toying with a solution that I could share within the drive that would conduct periodic checks, problem is is that it would rely on a generated file as well as direct links (something that is hard to come by on file sharing services to firstly predict and script & usually requires you to manually click a share button to get a link).
However, there is a google chrome based extention that will notify you by tracking a folder when something new has been added to a google drive folder - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/folder-notifications-for/pamfobflonhoblkekglgpplpibfnckna
This will only track and send an email based on tracking 1 folder.
I am looking into the paid version myself ($2 - http://ez34.net/ezdrive/folder-notif) that will track 10 folders (which is a lot).
Why don't you use the OTA app functionality?
The OTA app, while great seems to be an on/off thing. I have it set to the correct file locations but it seems it works for some of my devices and not for others. I have tried changing to other branches of the apps to no avail. It just doesn't seem stable enough, remember im working with 6 devices at the moment.)
Can I get roms from the other locations?
Yes. I have done this setup to quicken my workflow to get roms out, the quicker you guys get them, the happier you's are. Now the primary issue I have it sync'ing to other file services to ensure I limit my bandwidth in uploading (to reduce wait times) and to keep things concurrent across. If i upload to google drive first and sync to other locations on my end, its quicker than me manually uploading to locations
one more
For reference... rom is built with UBERTC 4.9 for rom base, kernel is built with UBERTC 5.3..... i do use franko kernel myself though
Thanks so much! Trying this now...

Instructions for unlocking bootloader can be found here
Thank you @20tibby_gt06 for these instructions
TWRP Installation
1 - Download TWRP
2 - Reboot into boootloader mode
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
3 - Check to see if fastboot mode is working
Code:
adb fastboot devices
4 - Change working directory in terminal to your Downloads folder (or whatever folder TWRP is located)
Code:
cd Downloads
5 - Then type:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Replace "recovery.img" with the name of your file (I always change mine to recovery.img for less typing in the terminal)
For reasons unknown to me, some people have reported a successful flash with this method but TWRP ends out being non-existent when rebooting to recovery. If this is the case for you try this:
1 - Follow steps 1-4 above
2 - Enter this command instead for step 5:
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
This will temporarily boot TWRP onto your device allowing you to flash the needed files to boot LineageOS

Quick question. I know own I shouldn't dirty flash but if I do will it keep the encryption in my external SD?
I use it as internal so I don't want to have to go through setting it all up again!
Will back it up anyway just in case

Also another random question. I find the WiFi in the other lineage rom to be slow.
This to me isn't a deal breaker as the performance difference overall is so much better but it would be interesting to know other people thoughts and if you think it is quicker in this new ROM.
For example I tried remote play and it's a laggy mess and downloading from the play store seems to take much longer than all my other devices.

I will work on a tutorial this evening for everyone for unlocking bootloader and installing twrp. It will be in post 2
One thing for now for you to try is instead of doing fastboot flash recovery recovery.img try fastboot boot recovery.img. that will temporarily boot it allowing you to flash the ROM, Gapps and root if you choose.

Ok encrypted sd caused me no end of issues so did a full wipe.
First bug I have got is in the camera. Keeps asking for sd to be inserted even though storage permission enabled.

That's strange, camera works great for me. Can you post logs?
Something is wrong. Magisk won't write to sd.
Log collector can't get access to collect the log.
Not sure what's going on!!
EDIT: Sorted it. It was because I had used external sd as internal. For some reason even after a full wipe it was looking for it. I had to tell it to forget it and now all is well.

I managed to install your ROM using the temp twrp install method! Enabled root within rom settings! Installed flashify and gave it root permission then I was able to flash twrp.img permanently via flashify! Rom is lightning fast compared to the stock ROM! WiFi not as fast but I can live with that! Screencast doesn't find my Philips TV but other casting apps find it fine! Excellent ROM! Congratulations to the developer
