any ideas of how to remove ads in a app?
eg. Weatherbug. i hate the ads in the button, i thought this should not be too hard.
thanks...
Buy the app!
no, you did not get my point.
the app is free. how can i pay for it?
also there is no ads-free Weatherbug software in the market.

Try the weather channel app instead. I changed because it had lots of features and less ads.
i do not like weather channel personally.
Weatherbug is concise and much easier to read.

Contact the developer and ask him to place a paid app in the marketplace (ad free).
Ads on WP make apps look ugly. I try to avoid ad supported apps. Isn't there a way around this yet?
It's simple! turn your data connection and Wi-Fi off. works for me!

*well, if you want to do that, download the XAP from the Internet using your own computer and edit the whole app. save it, then install it to your phone.
I dont know the name of application . But that app can help me change store of market( for example: if you're in Vietnam but you want your market is for T-mobile user, you will use that app to change the store of market)
So could any one can give me that name of app or give me the apk of that?

And here is the link for the App, I imagine you could open this in your phones browser and install the APK straight from your downloads/phone.

Hello.
I've got a rooted OnePlus One, and tried flashing this Ad Blocker http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1916098
And it removes most ads, but im still getting those annoying youtube ad's, which are the worst for me, cause im watching alot of youtube videos.
So does any of you know a GOOD quality add blocker, which runs quietly in the background?
You can try Adaway, it's the one I use for all ROMs... works really good. Just search for it on the forums.

Agreed. I use adaway as well and no issues. But will say that make sure to whitelist SoundCloud as the newer hosts cause it not play, if you use it.

I've always flashed "Mother of All AD-BLOCKING" after every ROM I've flashed.
Sometimes it works, other times it does not and I see ads inside game apps, etc.
How does it work and when do I see it working?

It simply blocks the ad hosts. You should know its working when you can go to YouTube and chrome sites with no ads. If you see them, you never started the service, or you need to update your hosts within the app and then reboot.

Or apps that has ads within the app. The ad blocker would block the ads in the app.
Adaway is the best solution, if you've got xposed you can also unbeloved hosts along with minminguard.

Thanks.
there's no solution without rooting correct?
I've had the s6 since it came out. Never had a problem until about a month or so ago. I keep getting these pop ups and whatnot on my screen saying that my phone is infected and I need to download *that* app to remove the virus. I know never to do that. I have factory reset the phone several times to no avail. It usually runs great for a few days then the pop ups started again. I have downloaded a few virus scan apps and they all say there is no virus...... frustrated, please help.
More pics
I am running stock with the latest firmware. I am using textra as well.
Just don't trust. They are advertisement. They wanted you to install their bloatware so called "Antivirus" app.
These are just creative ads. google has nothing to do with it as you can see in the address bar.
One more thing there is no such thing as virus in Android because it is linux bases OS.

If you are rooted then install adaway to block ads.
Or you can just block popups from chrome settings.

Hi all,
I use my HW2 for running via the workout app and I tend to view the stats using Huawei Health.
So far this month I've ran 6 times and all of them show in thw history on my watch.
The annoying thing is that 1 run (the longest) doesn't show on the Huawei Health app.
Is there any reason why all but one of the runs would sync?
Paul
Hi Paul
Never had this issue before but I log all my activity through the Strava app and it hasn't lost a workout yet...
To be honest, it doesn't surprise me cos one month in with this watch makes me realise that it's temperamental, at best.
Maybe try a 3rd party app and sync with Google Fit?
