Hi, please help me. My xperia c speaker stopped working. I can listen using headset, but not the speaker. I can listen to the other person during the call, but ringtone or notification sounds don't work. It was fine till yesterday. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

go to the android menu by dialing *#*#7378423#*#* ther go in service tests and check ur loadspeaker if it does not work there then it is a hardware prob

BTW I took it to service center and they fixed it within a day. It was some software problem. Thanks for helping anyways

i had the same issue when i bought my device
i was looking for a solution for this
but somehow a few time later it stopped doing it by itself
It may be because of a setting... Flip for speaker is an option in sense.. Uncheck that option...

could be that your case blocks the light sensor. if you have one
hello people i would like to share my problem and get some suggest for the solution!!i have problem with the audio of my xperia tipo..when i insert headphones it not regognize them..i think that the problem is volume+ (program to boost audio) when i have this instaled the headphones not regonized by the phone..when i uninstall it and reboot of caurse headphones regognized(and i can play music or radio) but the phone dont have audio for notifications or when playing songs or when i make a call until i insert the headphones again(when i make a call and push Speaker i have sound)..now when i install again the volume+ program and reboot the phone takes at the start level that it dont regognize the headphones..all this means that no problem with hardware..any suggests?sorry for my english...hope to fix it soon..

is this related to some "sound calibration"? like the ones similar to a touch calibrator wherein when my tipo had an unresponsive touch, i've just installed the screen calibrator and it worked perfectly...

this program you suggest its only when you have scree touch problems..

yes factory reset..or if you have any other music app..strange...my problem fixed with uninstall poweramp and after reboot..but factory reset must work..
I found the problem, but not the solution :/
If I reboot the phone with the headphones plugged in they work ok, but the loudspeaker doesn't. And Vice Versa. Any solution?

Inline mic not usable on my N5. I need to shout and hold it in my mouth for it to work. Google is working on the software 'fix'.

What brand headset are you using that works? I have tried many and all have the same low gain issue.
low gain can be solved using custom kernel like faux's one and app like fauxsound if you're rooted, I'm using klipsch S4i with no issue at all

I have a problem with my phone. Sometimes, when I unlock my mobilephone the color of screen fades. I need to lock and unlock mobile to restore in normal color. I sent my mobilephone in service. The first time they changed the screen and format it. The second time tested it for two days but they didn't t find any problems. Is there a problem with Rom (Original ROM of Romania)? The mobile phone has never been rooted. I try to use it in safe mode and I have the same problem. What's wrong? Can you help me?
Same here but it happens only 1 out of 80 times so i guess it's not a big issue. It happens just after pressing the power button (before unlocking)
I though that i was the only one getting this error. But i got company. jus' kidding! Taking it to the service centre would probably fix it.

Thanks very much from your answer. Yes, it happens just after pressing the power button. I sent my phone in service twice but nothing change. I called Samsung and I told my problem but nothing again. They told me to send it again in service. I am very disappointed and I don't know what to do. Moreover, one friend have the same problem.
Must be that core if born with this defect.

Once we get our beloved cyanogenmod you won't hate it. Just waiting for maclaw and marcin to buy phones.

In my case the problem isn't rarely. Sometimes this problem appear 2-3 times in day.

Although d colour problem won't be fixed bt cyanogenmod definitely will improve d performance. My dad has s advance and he found great improvement in performance after installing cyanogenmod!
I don't have any issues with my Core.
It works smoothly..

I have this problem too! But it appears less than once in a week. And I noticed it only happens right after heavy usage, like after I play online games, and lock it, the screen color fades. Samsung won't even bother on fixing this type of small issues, even though they have tons of heavy issues to fix too!

Try to go in another service center in your region they might fix your problem.

I went in other Service Support. This send my device in Samsung. Technical in Samsung didn't find something wrong. I send photo and video which prove my problem. I have asked to replace motherboard. I am looking foreword to their answer.

After two and a half years I decided to jump from my Xperia Z to Z5 and pre ordered it and I am not sure to order the style cover too. It uses NFC to connect to the phone. But I am using the smartband and I think it's possible to connect just one device at one time, isn't it? Is this correct or am I wrong?

I'm stuck trying to set up my handset, it's the first time I've used it. However it seems to be stuck on audio description mode (female voice saying recruiting I press or highlight) this also limits the phones ability to use any on screen controls. I have to triple tap the "next" or "back" buttons to progress through the set up. But when it comes to typing details such as wifi password or gmail user details the on screen keyboard is completely unresponsive. Can any one help??

Nope, there is not IR blaster.

It took 2 hours and 15 minutes to fully charge the phone from 6% to 100% .. which lead me to believe the included charger doesn't support fast charging and it's sold as accessory.
