Hey Guys,
I had ordered the Nexus one car dock from HTC website (Letstalk.com) on Aug-8. At that it was back ordered and available to ship on Aug-18. From that day they keep extending the date by a day everyday, the current date to ship is 9/9/2010.
Just want to know is the new date to ship only for new orders or all orders? and has anyone received the car dock from this site?

you're not alone.. I ordered back around August 14th and keep getting the 'still backordered' e-mail with the ETA getting pushed back.
do the items even exist? I always get the run around from HTC.. thinking about upping the ante with a BBB complaint...

Those are nice until they damage the finish on the bottom of your phone (I have one, I now have a paint chip on either corner of my phone thanks to that holder).

HTC website is misleading, it says "backordered and available to ship", does not say those avaialbility dates are uncertain...its almost like they are cheating customers to buy from them and then keep them waiting.
I guess i will cancel my order and buy other holders available in market ..there are few suggested by other users in this forum.
Always backordered here too since mid August.
Except I paid of course immediately...
I ordered mine at the beginnig of august. On the site it was written availability september the 1st. And I received it august the 25th !!
I'm in France, maybe, for once, we are lucky .
Now it shows as TBD no more ETA in the last email..
nah, they do that a lot. check the htc website, its been postponed 3 more days.
I ordered mine in early August and still getting emails of backorder every two days. Wondering if they'll ever fullfill the orders.
Not sure if I am getting special treatment but here is what has happened so far:
I left the car dock in my windshield for about 2 months... bluetooth speaker started to suck. Went to release my phone with the push tab and the frame fractured.
About a week ago, maybe two, I called HTC and they emailed me a label for overnight to them for replacement and seeing if what was wrong was covered. Having not heard from them eight days later I called with my HTC ticket# and asked why I haven't received any notifications regarding my device and the lady escalated my ticket and I received my car dock today. It looks different...not sure how. But they definitely have them. Good luck to those of you who didn't pull the trigger for one right when you got your phone like I did.
I ordered a case from them on August 16th and they kept sending backorder emails well I got tired of their **** and just cancelled my order. Maybe one day I may or may not reorder when they have them in stock.
I also ordered in august and have been getting the emails every few days when they push the ship date back. It is pissing me off
Add me to the list... Ordered early August, nothing received other than those stupid every-2-day emails...
I am starting to think of cancelling the order.

Talked to google MULTIPLE times about availability of Official Nexus One accessories after the google.com/phone site went offline for orders. They kept giving me shaded answers until finally hinting they would be offered by htc. Finally HTC offered items on the HTC accessories site in the states. Ordered my desktop dock about a week ago and I have since gotten three backorder updates...

Are you kidding me? I bet I could take classes to learn how to program bluetooth technologies and set plastic moldings; I could then make my own dock before I get my official one...
Yet I digress with my patience; I want the official dock.

I had a seminar problem as you...But in the end...I got 2 car docks from HTC. 1 is just setting here doing notting. I need to ebay it. for $40 it's just the car dock and with no car charger.

That's EXTREMELY coincidental...The same thing happened to me. I thought it was an accident.. but if they sent two to two different people... I dunno.

I just wanted to know how your experience with carphone warehouse is/was with exchanging your phone? Im from germany as you can see but currently in england and my phone is having some backbutton issues and NFC problems, so I wanted to visit carphone warehouse today and get a new one. This would be of course the best because I leave trw evening and if they would send it into reparation my girlfriend would have to send it over which cost again money and even worse I wouldnt have the phone for a while ... So just wanted to know what I can expect

I had to exchange my first nexus s due to the back button light not working (sometimes on, sometimes off). Walked into the store asked them for to swop the item for me due to the issue and they did so. They said sorry for the inconvienence and off I walked out the shop with my new nexus s.Easy as A-B-C 1-2-3 So aslong as your within 28 days there should be no issues, well I had none. However I can't say if all stores will be as good as my local store as this is just one experience.
I found it easy as anything,if your within your 28 days its easy,im on my 3rd one,back button issues,have eventually found one thats great,i exchanged in 2 different stores,and have ended up with 2 boxes and 3 chargers!!...so in my experience the CPW have been very good.
Comet now have these in stock for dispatch, i just ordered mine for tomorrow and have received a confirmation of delivery email (if that means anything)

Thanks for the pointer I've ordered one too but I'm not over-confident I will have a TF in my hot hands by Friday somehow. It seems odd that neither Ebuyer or Amazon for example have stocks, and I seem to recall Comet as being optimistic regarding stocks of the (minus dock) TF's too.
Actually reading all the tales of woe re screen bleed, troublesome docks etc, I wonder if I've made a wise decision but life's too short and I've taken a chance

I emailed them yesterday with that same question 'how come you get yours in stock and amazon say june 1st'? They emailed me back this morning saying they were due in today so i've been watching the website all morning waiting for it to be updated, when i saw it i rang them to confirm and gave them my details, they then rang back to confirm delivery tomorrow by parcel force for which i paid an extra £5.60
If they don't turn up a local store is going to get a brick through it's window

I went into my local store Saturday and the guy checked stock at the CDC which said delivery due 10th. I went in after work today and it was right they got them ready to be sent out so ordered one for in-store collection and picking it up Friday if you don't want to order online go in and do what I did. I only paid £399 as I took out the extra care so did me a deal so all in I only actually paid £485 with the service plan as I got 10% off buying vouchers through my work I'm a happy boy lol
Just ordered the bundle as well. I hope the keyboard will come with the US layout like on the pictures and not the UK layout.
Due in on Friday!
I received my Transformer from Comet yesterday, when I ordered it on Monday they told me they had 78 in stock.

I did, i bought one a month ago when they first became available, but no scrollable widgets or browsers worked so i sold it again, (paid £375 sold for £440)
My new one with keyboard arrived today, so no bricks will be thrown, (at least not at comet)

I ordered my bundle on the 4th April and Comet have had my money since then. To hear that someone who ordered YESTERDAY received theirs instantly is just infuriating.
I'm off to Comet after work. F****** ridiculous.

When i had mine a month ago all i had was the slate, they didn't get any stock of keyboards until yesterday and i was straight on the phone.
Just ring up the service centre direct 0844 800 95 95, all a store will do is give you some BS about availability
The keyboard is awesome, increases productivy a 1000 percent, the keys have a really good feel, and the touchpad is very fast, haven't worked out how to adjust speed.
Been using it for about five hours with general use, setting up ADW EX, a bit of youtube, web browsing, emails, and it's only gone down 15 percent!
Well indeed I should have had more faith my order arrived this morning as promised Must admit I was surprised when just one box arrived as I've always seen the pad and dock in two separate boxes but sure enough they were both inside.
No juice at all in the pad though some in the dock just a quick look and no sign of back-light bleed (with the start-up dark background).
Must say I love the look of the TF and dock, feels solid and well made

Took delivery of mine today from Comet, plugged in an power on BAM! Screen bleed!! All edges are corners, pretty bad. Went to my local store to return and refund and they have awful customer service. They treated me as if I was lying "oh I dont see a problem", well its not you who purchased it?
Anyway got a refund in the end. Having now had 2 faulty Asus transformers and 7 faulty iPads I think its time I walk away from tablets.....
I now have my bundle in hand after picking it up from Comet and its amazing can't believe how small the box was with both in I had to ask if both were there lol I also picked up a nice bag for it which I'm happy about.

Are you in the UK at the moment? I'm currently in the US and will have my keyboard delivered next Wednesday (US Layout)...I then return to the UK on Saturday. Would you be interested in a swap? I'm not overly bothered about having a US keyboard but a UK layout would be a bonus.

want to hear from others that were wronged by amazon wireless.... After doing my research on what phone I wanted, I took advantage of the deal going on @Amazon wireless on Thanksgiving, where you got the skyrocket for a penny--- went thru the steps---approved thru AT&T--showed IN STOCK ordered it.... Supposed to ship within one week (2 day free shipping...yeah right) So the next day I return to the site to gain more info---now I see the skyrocket is "not available" backorder... Thought , good thing I bought yesterday (said IN STOCK when I cashed out) so I check my order and find that ship date is JAN. 9 ! Ordered on Nov 24th, I called in and found that they threw me in the backorder pool...That is BS I told them , because it said IN STOCK when I purchased... Had this info been laid in front of me @ time of purchase I may have done something diff. Even now if you go to the site, it will show "backordered, ships in 1 - 2 weeks--really? And my order from Nov 24th goes all the way to Jan 9th? So, looking for others wronged by Amazon..... . I also checked with both at&t and Samsung. ...no shortage of skyrockets........... I also ordered on Monday 11/21 and got mine Wed. 11/23...sorry for your bad luck. But you still got it for $.01 right? I've checked prices and they're now at $189 or something.

Same here, ordered on the 11/21 arrived on 11/23,, had to open a 5th line but oh well, lol this thing is a beast. still have my atrix, though, still love that little guy also.

Republic wireless has hosed me though..i ordered from them the same go-live night and i am not getting shipped till xmas..that's a month and half late..

After I finished the manual review I got a confirmation of the first order as well as the second one.
I get two shipping emails but only one new number email. I figure it is a mistake and that Amazon would catch it before shipping after the Thanksgiving Holiday. A few days later I have two Amazon boxes sitting at my front door. I only opened one line but have this extra Skyrocket sitting on my desk.
I love Amazon.

eh i got a 249$ phone for .01 ... even though it took a week to arrive i am still happy with it.
at least they still honored the .01 price if it was out of stock .. most black friday sales just tell you that you are sol if the item is out of stock.

Tracking says it got delivered today.
I ordered on 25th as well and mine should be delivered tomorrow. Along with SGS II and Captivate Glide (Moving 3 lines from Tmobile)
I ordered 1AM on Tuesday and it arrived 3PM on Wednesday. I was actually impressed because I was expecting it the following Monday after the holiday.
I'm sorry you still have to wait. But for a $.01...I wouldn't mind the wait. Maybe you can get them to send you a white one?

I think my wait was attributed to Captivate Glide because it was suppose to ship in "8 - 10 days".

Amazon's customer service is top notch. They use all their muscle to right any wrongs. My guess is that you will be getting your device much sooner than Jan 9.
Has anyone ordered and received any of the official motorola g shells??
I ordered the moto g on 11/26 launch day. The shells were not available until the following day, placed a separate order on 11/27.
The moto g just showed up today, 3+ weeks later. I still have no tracking for the shell?
This better come before the 25th. It's for my Wife. I have a nexus 4 and as soon as she gets this phone I'll be able to buy me a nexus 5 with out getting in trouble

I ordered the light blue (turquoise I think?) shell for my wife direct from motorola 12/9. Got the email this morning that it shipped out yesterday and should show up today. I did chat with a Moto rep yesterday to ask where it was, so I don't know if that is coincidence or if they did something to push it along.

Your lucky. I just got off the phone with them. Said that my order is still open and that she has know idea what that meant. So she is going to forward my issue to a higher up. I told her that I'm going to just try and order another one while they get it figured out. She made a note in my account to give me free over night upgrade when I call in to the order center.
What I think is going on is that for all of us who ordered on day one. They promised to already upgrade orders to overnight because of the massive delay. Now that is causing a delay somehow. I dont know maybe they have to pull all the orders that were ready to go before the storm hit and they have to re do the orders as over night instead of 4 day.
I ordered a moto g on 11/26 I just got that phone yesterday. I also ordered another moto g last week on Wednesday night. I just got that one delivered today. So something is really screwy over there in moto land???? Hell I did not even bother to check for any updates on the second moto g. I just assumed it would be here by the end of the month. That stinks. I will say that until the "shipped" email today, I had no estimated ship date or other info (online or via email) other than the initial "got your order" email. It seemed to come out of the blue and the rep I chatted with had no estimated date other than "you should get it this week I think".
Also, I am in Fort Worth (where they are shipping from) so my "ground" shipping was essentially next day (shipped 11/16, delivered today 11/17).
