I've got the same exact problem. In running cm 12 in a Samsung galaxy grand. Link2sd worked fine and I was able to link all my apps to SD card. But after a reboot all my apps disappears. It keeps saying mount script error.

Try Foldermount. And also, you need to change SElinux to permissive.

[Q] : Link2SD : Keep getting mount warning

Hello!
So last weekend I've installed the latest nightly build of Cyanogenmod on my Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-5830D. Before that, I had the stable version with Link2SD installed and all was going perfectly except for one little thing which was supposed to be resolved in the nightly build.
Since then, Link2SD has been giving me mount warnings every time I reboot wether I use its own Quick Reboot option or a propre reboot.
I tried recreating the scripts, recreating the partitions, putting back the stable release of CM7 and even going back to stock ROM and then reinstalling CM7 stable but nothing does it.
I've also tried to format the partition in ext2, ext3, ext4 and FAT32. I've used both gParted and the built in partition option from Clockworkmod.
I'm sort of out of solutions here.
Does anyone have a solution for me?
Thanks!
What is the warning?

I give so many details and forget this! Ha ha! Sorry.
It says that the second partition could not be mounted during boot time and that therefore the apps on it cannot be seen by my launcher and that I need to recreate the scripts.
Strangely it's working now. I installed S2E and ran it once, checked "mount ext4", rebooted and Link2SD was able to do its job. I was even able to uninstall S2E and Link2SD is still working fine!
Weird

So it stopped working. I went back to stock and rooted and it worked. Back to Cyanogenmod and it's not working again...

[Q] SD partition on Xperia L C2105 (SOLVED)

I've been trying all the afternoon to do an partition on my 32gb SD card (class 4), but when I try to enable it with Link2SD, the phone stucks on reboot I have done the SD partition with ''MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition''. I'm on latest 15.3.A.1.14
1. FAT32 - PRIMARY - 27gb
2. Ext2 - PRIMARY - 2.5gb (I also try with Ext 2 and Ext 4).
I tried both also with LOGICAL or LOGICAL and PRIMARY and so on, but still don't work. Any solutions?
Sorry for bad english...

CWM is recovery in our case its buildin kernel. So you will need to flash custom kernel(unlocked BL).But im not sure that partitioning from there will help you
Maybe problem is in root or script...

Yeah, I know...but I think I can't installed because BL is locked
In my previous Samsung Galaxy Mini, I partitionate the SD card from there and it work. I think it was on stock kernel, but I'm not sure...
What do you mean by saying thay is a root or script problem?

Maybe Link2SD don't get root permissions right or just the program isn't compatible with our phone...I'm not using this program(and never used it),so can't tell you much

I'll try sending an email to the developer, asking for the problem...
But in fact, short time ago I read that some Xperia's like M, L and SP and so on have that problem. They said that was a 4.1.2 error, but apparently it remains in 4.2.2 and in 4.3

All Messed Up after Switching From F2FS (Lollipop)

I can't backup any of my apps on titaniumbackup without get an error: Backup Failed: Insufficient Storage...
It all started when I switched my file system from F2FS to EXT4.
I've tried clean wiping.. different roms.. still getting the same results.

Can you see the contents of your "SD Card" (Internal Storage) in any file manager?
If not, try changing your SELinux policy to "Permissive" - use the app "SELinux Mode Changer" from the Play Store (requires root). This fixed the issue for me.

Thanks for replying.. I flashed the file system back to F2FS and everything is fine now.
Has this same thing happened to you or just something similar? I still would like to be able to flash back to EXT4 if need be.

I found myself unable to access the Internal Storage from any app after clean flashing the 7/12 build, after previously having no issues on the 2/12 build.
This caused the same sort of errors as you got - couldn't save photos, couldn't download languages for Swiftkey etc.

There's an xposed module to give access to the external sd. Also on the forum are instructions on how to modify your platform.xml to do the same thing. Did you search?
Not really, because it work it with application sdcard fix
Stock Rom + xposed
After each reboot the system go to read only. Because of that I can use the SD card...

Best way is to mod your platform.xml add media_rw... That's it.

If your sdcard is being mounted read only it's failed stability checks...you should copy your data off and reformat it (preferably on a pc and tell it to do a full format...try using fat32 instead of exfat also)....you may have some bad areas on it.
The idol 3 can be very picky about sd cards...I ended up having to go out and buy a samsung because it hated my sandisk one which has been rock steady in all other devices...the sandisk would randomly not mount at all and have to be reformatted.

Link2sd and Marshmallow problem

Hi guys
I have a little problem and maybe some of you also have it.
First i own a xt1541 8GB
On Lollipop i use link2sd (payed app) and i'm very happy.
Now on MM i cannot use it cause it cannot make mount point. allready tried with apps2sd but on reboot it wont work again.
Also on MM external sdcard is no longer sdcard1 but something like xxxx-xxxx. Tried create a symlink with name sdcard1 pointing to xxxx-xxxx but on reboot the symlink is erased.
I saw this kind of trick on Huawei honor 4c marshmallow stock rom.
With that symlink link2sd shows me sdcard space available, thing that without it it shows nothing.
Does anyone has a solution for this?
same here
Same here I can't make it to work on marshmallow.
Adaptable storage option build in the system really needs work. It still uses internal storage anyway causing problems when too much apps installed.
Probably a solution
Hey, I had the same problem as you, but I think that I solved this... at last in my phone. I don't know if it will work for you too and I'm not capable of explain details, since I'm new in this world of rooted cellphones, but I'll try my best.
First I tried another similar app called App2sd to check if it was a problem with my phone or with Link2sd only. And that app properly mounted the 2nd partition of my sd card. After that I opened Link2sd and my 2nd partition was mounted there too. But after rebooting the system, Link2sd was not working again, my sd was not mounted. I understood that Link2sd was having a problem in mounting my card at boot. Then I remembered that I read here in another forum (androidforums.com) that Link2sd need that your cellphone has init.d support to work. I donwloaded an app called Universal init.d and tested if my cell has that support, and it has. That app has an option of automatic execute scripts at each boot if you turn it ON, then I did it. Now Link2sd is working 100%. Sorry about the poor explanation, but I hope that it can help someone.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.co.pricealert.apps2sd.pro&hl=en
use latest version.
Enjoy
Unfortunately it does not work, the 2 partition cannot be mounted
Link2sd is working with the apps2sd installed and it's partition mount script..
Where is the dev of link2sd?
I've paid to have it working and it isn't.

Has anyone come up with a fix for this annoying problem of sdcard1 getting renamed in mm roms? I notice that not all mm roms do this like Temasek's.
