Eassee3d is an hw/sw solution to turn galaxy s3 screen into autostereoscopic 3d display.
Ok that's amazing... but hw is based on a 5x10 cm lenticular sheet which costs around 5$, but you must instead pay 50$ to buy the original hw!!
Does anybody know the specifications of the lenticular sheet suitable for s3 galaxy display? Or how to calculate the LPI density I need?

I am pensioning off my venerable Sony Ericsson K800i.
I want a phone with a larger screen.
I am a Sammy fan.
I want 4G capability.
With this in mind, in my market, I have a few choices:
S3 LTE.
S4.
Note II LTE (or wait till Autumn/ Fall for the Note 3)
Mega 6.3" (was due May but now put back till July)
Mega looks like cut-down Note. No stylus, lesser resolution 720 HD, lesser screen quality (TFT not AMOLED) lesser processor (1.7 DC) lesser RAM (1.5) bigger battery (3.2) and bigger screen (of course), and presumably much slimmer price tag...
I don't have a clue what the retailers will market the Mega for yet, but price aside, which would you go for?
Would the freshness of the S4 over the Note win you over, especially seeing as the screen size is only marginally smaller?
Or would you accept the lower res screen of the Mega as a trade off for the extra inches against the SIII?
The price is a small factor here. What's most important is getting the right handset.
Please help!
S4 is better as it got 4.2 officially,,

I need to buy a replacement of my Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562's LCD display. I don't need the digitizer, just the display because it seems that the flex is broken. What's the cheapest place to buy it online inside the US?? Thank you
Hello everyone!
I've tried to browse other posts but didn't find anything about following topic:
Is i9505 LCD screen the same as i9500? If I buy i9500 replacement lcd will I be able to use it on i9505? Anyone has any experience with this? Tnx for your answers!
No they are not compatible. There are hardware differences between them.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 chipset, while the Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 relies on Samsung's own Exynos 5 Octa chipset
that means that the all the parts are the same except for the backplate of the frame where the screen is glued to.
just replacing the screen is no problem but if you buy a screen with the front part be careful you have exactly the right model version

Is it possible to replace just the glass section of the screen or is it the same as the iPhone 4 onwards where you have to buy the frame and LCD as well?

Yes, the lcd screen for S4 is universal for all versions. So the i9500 replacement lcd is suitable for i9505.
You are buying the wrong screen if it is listed as LCD. S4 does not have LCD screen.

Hey there, I have broken the screen on my Samsung galaxy S4 GT-19506 (The glass and the LCD), I am planning to buy a Samsung galaxy s4 GT-19505 which works except it can not get reception (Locked to network) and just take the component out from it and put the components from my GT-19506 in it so everything will be the same except the screen. Will this work? I know the GT-19506 has a better cpu and 4g but if does it have the same screen and screen connection?
I would buy a new LCD but this way it would be cheaper
Any help is really appreciated
My old Z3 TC is getting unreliable and is showing its age. What's a good replacement?
It must be a similar size i.e 8" or 9" screen. I'm considering the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite but the screen resolution is a lot less, 179ppi compared to 283ppi for the old Sony.
My usage is mostly browsing, ebooks, occasional video and occasional GPS.
Has anyone had both and can compare? Any other recommendations to consider?
many thanks

Thanks for your quick reply. The user reviews on GSM Arena are less than complimetary, and the screen resolution is even lower than the A7 Lite. Do you watch videos on your M9?

Don't confuse screen-resolution ( screen width x screen height ) & pixel-density ( pixels per inch ).
As with all Android devices both the screen resolution and the PPI can get set by you.
Sure, but you can't exceed the manufacturer's maximum.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3 looks good, but it's very expensive for a tablet.
