i9505 LCD screen replacement - Galaxy S 4 Accessories

Hello everyone!
I've tried to browse other posts but didn't find anything about following topic:
Is i9505 LCD screen the same as i9500? If I buy i9500 replacement lcd will I be able to use it on i9505? Anyone has any experience with this? Tnx for your answers!

No they are not compatible. There are hardware differences between them.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 chipset, while the Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 relies on Samsung's own Exynos 5 Octa chipset
that means that the all the parts are the same except for the backplate of the frame where the screen is glued to.
just replacing the screen is no problem but if you buy a screen with the front part be careful you have exactly the right model version

Is it possible to replace just the glass section of the screen or is it the same as the iPhone 4 onwards where you have to buy the frame and LCD as well?

Yes, the lcd screen for S4 is universal for all versions. So the i9500 replacement lcd is suitable for i9505.

You are buying the wrong screen if it is listed as LCD. S4 does not have LCD screen.

You're in luck, it's better:

"The Galaxy Note III is likely to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz, Adreno 330 GPU, 5.99-Inch Full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED Display, 13-Megapixel main camera shooter, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, IR Blaster and LTE-Support. That’s all we know so far, but it is expected that it will run the latest version of
Android with Samsung’s own TouchWiz interface for improved S-PEN functionality."
Oh god I want one!!!!

I'd pass on all of that epicness if it still has the same crappy design, Samsung is turning into Apple.

Well the 'prototype' looks more like the S2 than the S4. http://www.sammobile.com/2013/06/09/galaxy-note-iiis-prototype-showed-up/
Don't take it as fact just yet, because there's no official confirmation, but who knows. 20th June we'll know for sure.
Besides, I was going to get an S4 before deciding to wait for the Note 3. So if it looks like the S4, fine by me
Bigger screen, stylus, FULL HD screen, AMOLED DISPLAY(Eventhough I would be happier Sammy stopped using AMOLEDS and used PLS or IPS displays instead)
Louder sound through the headphone jack. This is really a general complaint with my two other Android devices as well, a Nexus 7 and Asus TF101, the volume is just way too quiet. I hate having to resort to flashing various audio files that often don`t work as advertised. Just give me proper volume control out of the box, I`ll be the judge of what`s too loud.

Try using Dice Player. It has a 400% max volume boost.

If you seen the leaked Photos lately, it looks like it has the original body of the Note 1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy0pzPkJW6s
But if you look at everything else Samsung has made in the past year, they all look like the S4. Even there tablets the Galaxy Note 8 looks like a giant S4. hopefully they change that, as this is the only real problem of there phones. Its like there doing a IPhone.
Waiting desperately for note 3
Good camera with flash
Note app
gorilla glass
nice sound
fast
all good features from note 2 and s4

[Q] Which replacement screen for Galaxy s4?

Hi, my galaxy s4 i9502s screen has gone black, touch is working. Which model replacement do I need, would the one for the i9500 be compatible? Where can I find out? Thanks

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S5 GT-19506 screen replacement

Hey there, I have broken the screen on my Samsung galaxy S4 GT-19506 (The glass and the LCD), I am planning to buy a Samsung galaxy s4 GT-19505 which works except it can not get reception (Locked to network) and just take the component out from it and put the components from my GT-19506 in it so everything will be the same except the screen. Will this work? I know the GT-19506 has a better cpu and 4g but if does it have the same screen and screen connection?
I would buy a new LCD but this way it would be cheaper
Any help is really appreciated

Can anyone confirm if Exynos and Snapdragon digitizers are not interchangeable.

I know its probably easy to say they aren't because we've heard someone else say they aren't but can anyone point to any proof?
I have both variants and I will test it out if no one can point to some sort of proof they are incompatible.
I need a new screen for my exynos and I can't find any digitizers for them, and I want one that comes with a camera.
I am curious as well.
I've done 5 screen replacements for the Note 4 (buy broken and flip on craigslist). I have purchased 2 replacement screens that listed the n910c and other Exynos variants as compatible, but they worked on the Snapdragon variants that I was repairing. TGhere was no decernible difference. I still can't be sure of compatibility since I've never taken a screen off of an Exynos Note 4 and tried to put in to a Snapdragon Note 4.
Let me know how it goes if you try it. it's a fairly easy thing to test out if you have both variants.

Well,
Your reply gave me the courage to open both phones up and have a tinker.
I found some interesting things, like the camera from the Exynos (as listed when it shows hardware for the camera) is different to the snapdragon camera. So the snapdragon camera didn't go along for the ride when I swapped the motherboards.
The S pen connection is a royal ***** to get connected and I still need to work on it. It is detecting the pen when it hovers but its not accurate and I don't think I plugged it in properly. or maybe the plugs are really slightly different but I couldn't tell.
So, YES.
An Exynos motherboard will work with a snapdragon digitizer.
Ive got a black frame, gold face and back on an N910U
and I will likely get visa-versa on the N910G (Mrs's phone)

Is possible to replace a Samsung Note 4 N910F LCD screen with another version LCD?

l am in the process of buying a spare or for parts working phone on eBay to replace the LCD screen on my Samsung Note 4 N910F.
l see the majority are SM-N910C, SM-910V, SM-910P, SM-910T... They are not many N910F's and they seem to be the most expensive.
l am wondering if it is possible to replace a Samsung Note 4 N910F LCD screen with another version LCD?
Thanks in Advance
