Kitkat SD fixes work on 8013? - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I just won a 8013 and I've started reading the rooting and rom threads.
My question is do the SD fixes for rooted kitkat devices work? If not 16 gb probably won't last very long.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Core (rooting and customizing)

Few days ago I bought a new Galaxy Core (GT-I8262). Everything is running good except for the shortage of storage. .. I'm a game freak so I'll need lots of space. But the phone only have 5GB internal storage. ONE game with 2 Gb is all I can have. . I have a 16GB microSD card. But after searching multiple sites, I got confused whether I would be able to move our link apps to microsd or not. I really need the storage. So if someone expert or have done these could provide me a feedback on what should I do. .. plus would I be able to update my firmware after rooting if Samsung publish. Thank you.
If u want to root your Samsung galaxy core... : Download (Framaroot. Apk) install it on your phone open Framaroot application therefore select gandalf.. reboot your phone manually.. Yeh your phone is rooted now... Say thanks..link___

I understood about Framaroot. But as you have already rooted, can you clarify me if I would be able to move apps to sd card? And can you tell me how have you customised the notification bar.

Hey. As now I have rooted my phone successfully, I want to move the existing apps from internal storage to external storage. Can you tell me how can I do this? And if you have any other tips about what to do with my rooted phone, I'd be glad.

Galaxy core comes with emulated storage. You need a custom rom which supports moving of apps 2 sd. Unfortunately, the stock Samsung rom doesn't allow this.

[Q] Any custom 4.4 KitKat ROM"s that has the SD CARD permissions set back

The new specifications in the Android API pretty much makes your SD card useless .
So, are there any custom ROM's for SM 9005 to bypass this issue ?......if yes, which are the best one's ????
It's donkeys to fix if you're rooted.

I have a weird problem. I am using my Xperia L, running 4.2.2 with the latest officia

I have a weird problem. I am using my Xperia L, running 4.2.2(Out of The Box) with the latest official Firmware. Its not rooted.
4.2.2+ supports moving Apps to SD without Root.
I have Noticed one thing. If youre going to Buy a New Phone Running 4.2.2+, If you start the phone for the first time(just after buying), with no memory card, after youve switched on the phone and try to move Apps to SD, it wont Happen!! The apps will only move to the Internal Storage.
But,if you start the phone(For the First Time) with memory card Inserted, then it will recognize the mem Card as Your external storage. From settings now you can move Apps to SD.
Why does this Happen??
Can anyone help me to solve this??
Thank You in Advance.

The problem is weird indeed... never heard of it..
1. Are you trying to move the same app in both the phones?
2. Ig.you really want it.. just put your mmc and factory reset

Factory reset Is an option i Know but I wanted to Know if Other solutions Existed.
I tested It with Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 and Moto E , by Inserting the Mem card first, Then Starting the Phone (for the First time). For Both of the phones, the Mem card was taken as the external and apps could be the Moved to SD via Settings.
But for my Xperia L, I didnt insert the Memory card and switched it on(just after buying) . When I inserted the Mem Card later, and tried to Move Movable apps to SD, the apps would only move to The Internal Memory.
Are u interested in rooting? If yes I'd suggest do that.. many advantages of rooting ... sorry for diverting from main question :/

Rooting is Okay for Me. My a89 Was Rooted. But I Thought of Using my Xperia L for Sometime Before Rooting it and Unlocking The Bootloader. Even Cyanogenmod 11 with 4.4.2 Kitkat is available for my phone.
I think u should take a step ahead and root it.
Go for kitkat.. you'll love it.. and share your experience
